the main problem here is, that DR. Bones isn't just slow, that wouldn't be a problem, but he is not working at all while receiving money from his patreons and thats just Scam.
And if he release an update, after months without working it is just some crappy reillustration in order to keep this game alive.
Dont get me wrong. A lot of people here are whining because they have nothing better to do, but, and that is fact, Dr. Bones is a scammer who is milking the people who are giving him money, because they believe they will get a full game someday
The sad thing: The game itself is very good. It has an amazing artstyle and the story is also fun, but the current state of the game is almost the same as a year ago
whoa whoa whoa, settle down there, you don't want him to overdo it, that is worthy of at least two updates 3 months apart

i was donate him on patreon for the game he made with detail and effor for a porn game, i was apriciate him and supported him. Now he is just milking. He was one of the most potential dev and now he turn to be a scammer. He got a change to open a indie studio with revenue from donations but he choose eat that money.
yeah I think he has one of the most popular games, and is just not doing anything with it, I think he put the abandon tag out of spite, cause if this is truly abandoned then that joke of a game "survivors guilt" shouldn't even be a thing. Imagining juggling another game, that had a real excuse for the longer updates, but what did we get with the other game, Bull, and Shit

That would only be the case if he were doing this for free.
I don't know what to think on his website he says he working on v0.30. But he not releasing anything but v0.18b. So is he only making private versions so only buyers can use it. ho well moving on for me just a fun excape not worth paying for it.

There is no privet version. If there was that would be a whole other level of deception as the devs told everyone he was "working" on .18c. He also said that the game was "Ultimately free to everyone" part of the reason he denounces all criticism of he work ethics. It would also mean he and all of his patrons are working together in a conspiracy to make it look like he is not working to everyone that's not a patron. It makes no since.

he has been slow on updates for years, always has excuses.. really doesn't release them until he has enough income to warrant the release.. supported him before.. after giving him enough money to pay for several of any other kind of gaming I quit.. seen many games get the abandoned tag and come back to... sometimes real world shit takes people other places, we all have to eat.. great game overall, bit grind ish, but loved it.

Wow so this game actually got "Abandoned" tag. Even Kyle Gum(Scum)drop didn't receive that tag so fast.

i'd say: this game had good potential if it wasn't made in ancient RPG engine, or it was narrative story with few choices ahead
Unitiy engine ( cooler and wider for creativity use? ) could've done better development
