I might direct you to this post I wrote for an adjacent purpose. Similarly to how the game was never officially abandoned according to Bones, it was never officially on hiatus either... though he was apparently so deep in radio silence at one point that he felt like making a "reports of my death are greatly exaggerated"-joke at one point.
It's less a matter of him saying "I'm taking a break" and then "Okay, I'm back," and more a matter of him just not really giving a damn.

Considering more consoomers are increasing in amount of giving him money despite this embarrassment, I say they deserve the ultimately unfinished and half-assed game that this will be in the end.
It's funny though, once again he has not fulfilled his own statements on when he would release an adjacent update. Whenever it'll actually appear is anyone's guess and he'll continue to behave this way because he has no risks.

I didn't realize it but on the bones wiki I finished reading about Martha's story and I don't know she really never loved her son since during the custody thing instead of taking both of them she only took Lucile since she was cold with her husband and with her son then the guilt started to make her feel bad also she only invited him during the vacations so once the vacations are over what will happen I don't know but apparently she really didn't want her son maybe I thought he would be like his father but in the end they were both to blame mmm... I don't know just one small detail that I wanted to say about Martha if she really loved her son or she didn't maybe I was wrong

She loves her son but didn't fight hard enough or at all for custody. Her guilt is entirely based on the fact that she wasn't there for him.if she really loved her son or she didn't maybe I was wrong

The Doc is known for releasing broken/unfinished versions and then patching them up in the span of a couple months. When would it be available?
When it's ready, that's pretty much it. If you wanna ask directly, go to the Discord server and ask to see what they tell you. They don't take kindly to curious people asking about "dates" to fulfill.

When Doc said he would release 0.19.1 on Monday, I laughed so hard because he didn't say which Monday. I predict it will be some Monday in the year 2023 LOL
I spent a total of 12 hours in 3 days, including the events. The best game I've played for a long time, I hope it comes regularly updated every month.
