If I don't recall it wrong, the good Doc said that after 0.14 the story is gonna continue, so I'm guessing that's gonna be a reality at some point.

Summer Event? That's the issue right there buddy, there's no Summer Event. The events available as of version 0.12.1 (in order of activation) are Halloween, Christmas, Mother's Day and Easter Egg.
The walkthrough was only made up to version 0.03 I believe, for the following versions you should check the guide for a general idea of the unlockable content and before you say you already did, you clearly did not check it thoroughly.

Acabo de checar tu partida. Obtuviste la daga de forma normal o utilizaste algún tipo de editor para modificar tu partida guardada?

Checando rápido no logré encontrar la solución al problema. Si no estuviera en el trabajo podría investigar a fondo pero de momento edité tu partida. Quité la daga y puse las píldoras. Es un bug muy extraño el que tiene tu partida, quizás no activaste algún evento previo o te adelantaste un poco y por ahí algo ha de estar fallando.
Translation: At first glance I couldn't solve the problem. If I wasn't at work I could check further but in the meantime I edited your savefile. Removed the dagger and added the Sleeping Pills. It's a very strange bug your savefile has, maybe you didn't activate a previous event or you got a bit ahead and something broke.

Up to this date only this one, but he's developing another one called "Survivor's Guilt". No idea on when there's gonna be playable but since it's being developed simultaneously with this one, it's gonna take a while.
