I wouldn't say that it makes you "no money", as the subscribestar which seems to have been made for "the manor" is on 403$.
But i can see where you're coming from, most people aren't likely going to move away from patreon and unto another platform that does the same thing.

I can also feel you on that listening to the endless barrage of whining, can be annoying, even if i can sympathize a bit with the whining as well.
Tough situations i guess, but i suppose the "haters" will quiet down after the update comes out.

No, I'm actually making no money, the susbcribestar page is currently on hold and the money already pledged is unreachable for me due to bank issues. I'm trying to fix that, but if I can't I will try to refund everyone who pledged there.

But don't get me wrong, I don't actually mind working on the game for "free", because I like it.

And yes, the whining will stop once the update is up... and start again after a couple weeks... and then stop... and start... and stop... and start... and, well you get my drift.

This "I want it now!" ideology is the thing I have a problem with. This childish behaviour from people who get the game from free. But I know from where it is coming from: People like the game and want to keep playing it. But harrasing developers has never worked, and will never do. I've been in this "business" for almost 2 years now and the game is still alive regardless of all the issues I've faced, I think that should say something about me. My timings are not great, that I know, but I'm always working.
The only obligation I have is to to people who actually support me and they can always stop doing it and ask for a refund if they feel I'm not doing my part.

Either way, this is and always will be a never ending thing. Even while wrtiting this, the thought of "why do I even bother?" bounces in my head constantly. So I guess the only thing I could do is keep doing my thing, and whish for people to enjoy it.

This next build will be bigger than expected. Now, if you guys are feeling angsty, there's nothing I can do about it. Either you wait for it or you don't. I'm already tired of reading stuff about it, but again, it is your choice to be vocal about it. What I CAN do is keep working on the game, and upload the build when is ready.

Now (and this is not a threat) If other devs were in my position, they would simply stop working on The Manor., because this game is not making me any money, but as I said before, I will still work on it, because is my baby, if you believe that or not, it is NOT my problem.

And as always, thanks to everyone who show a minimum of patience to play a porn game. Love y'all.

I see, didn't know it was on hold, well, hopefully that will get resolved.

And i don't know about the other patreons, but i still support you mainly for the manor, even if it is a passion project now, not saying survivors guilt isn't looking good, but my bucks still goes to the manor (in my head at least) when donating.

hi mr bones, you games is great, i love the art style and story, your character sprites design is really good too, the cons maybe Repetitive game play, maybe you can add more simple scene / dialogue. :)

You've got it right with the "why bother" mentality I think. F95 is overrun with people who can't be bothered to read one post above their own before speaking - these are the last people on Earth you should be discouraged by. Just keep on keeping on, my good spooky skeleton.

Nah man, whining and complaining about a game to a single developer who gets help with some things, but creates all of the art himself is counter productive.

People who cause issues just need to chill and learn patience.

The internet has more than enough stuff to keep everyone occupied while The Good Doctor does his thing.

When a new version drops, we have fun playing the new content, then you wait for the next version. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

its bin some time since the last update come out and i can't wait to get my hands on the new one but come on guys give the Doc a break hes working on two games at the same time guys a badass for doing that in my book you can have your criticisms but keep them constructive remember its near christmas too so most devs are gonna slow down with what they are doing it's the season of giving so give the Doc a break ok

Doc, just keep working at whatever pace you feel like. People just need to learn that good things come to those who wait. You still have one of the best porn games out there.

So far that's it for now, but he's a single person doing so and coding is a pain in the ass in general unless you like to code AND are a masochist, cause there's no point where you don't feel dread or pain doing so.
