i am using a sub-account on my laptop, so im not the admin, though I do have access to the admin account...anyways, I downloaded both the WinRAR and 7zip as well as the VXACE thing. then I downloaded the MEGA version link provided by the good Doctor. I am not very computer smart so I don't know where I am supposed to save anything or where anything was saved to. i have an dragon icon on my desktop that just says "game" and the file is described as an "RGSS3 player". idk how but I got it to work one time and haven't been able to open it since.
Hmm... by default the downloads go to the "Downloads" folder. You can check it via the Windows Explorer window. Press Windows key + E and it should take you to the window that shows you the drives. On the left side should be a distribution of folders like this one (I'm using Windows 10 on Spanish so sorry for that haha)
I fully respect the decision to not censor the game and will definitely support you as soon as I can, especially since this is hands down one of the best games out there and I happily return to it every time. I would have question regarding the bestiality tag, though. Currently there are two beasts in the game, iirc. the dog and a horse. Do you have plans to add any more beasts to the game by any chance? I know more content is planned for the uptight sister, just somewhat curious about it. Also, any plans for monster girl (or female beast especially, like Teraurge has it) content? Not many games with the latter sadly, but either way, good work so far!
It is working well so far, I am able to open the game. I don't, however, know what RTP file to (re)install...I know I am stupid, but can you please help a little more? RTP file as in the RPGVXACE RTP file or the MEGA file or some other file? Thanks again my guy
The RTP file is the one you downloaded from the 1st post that says "VX ACE RTP", just below the "Downloads" area.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for all your help this far. I got the game to work, I can play it but it wont save if I close the game. I crashed earlier and I lost my 5 hours of progress. I tried to install the RPGVX ACE again but it said my WinZip trail ended. any suggestions?

Can't save? That's extremely weird. Does the name of the folder contain weird signs like [], {}, etc? Usually folders like that tend to not work properly.
