It’s that time again—another behind-the-scenes look at the ongoing saga of development. While some debate the fate of their favorite (or not-so-favorite) characters and others are simply waiting for the next batch of events, I’m here to share some news, thoughts, and a little peek behind the curtain at what’s coming next. Thank you for staying with me on this challenging, but endlessly fascinating journey!
There are sometimes opinions in the community that it’s not worth spending time on Liliana’s or Samanta’s events. However, polls show that both heroines have their own fans—especially Liliana. Honestly, I enjoy working on this branch too.
Some will say, “Spreading resources too thin is a bad thing!” There’s truth in that, so I’ve worked hard to optimize the process. Samanta and Liliana’s events now take place once a day, and always in a single location: Liliana’s bedroom and Samanta’s gym. This makes it much easier to handle lighting and set dressing, saves resources, and speeds up the creation of new scenes.
Ideally, I’d like Tyler (or Emma) to face their difficult moral choices around the same point in the story. While Emma may be drawn to Justin or her career (and sometimes powerful, wealthy men), Tyler searches for something he’s missing in his wife. At the same time, players have complete freedom—the game is open to many scenarios. No one limits your choice; you play the way you want. What I’m describing here is just the broad vision of the project, but you’re free to focus on whatever interests you most.
I get the sense that our project has gathered quite a diverse audience. On the one hand, this makes things more complicated; on the other, I do love a challenge. But any move we make toward a single central fetish would likely be harmful for the project. Attracting a large new fanbase for a specific kink is questionable, but losing those who are already here is a guarantee.
As for the family relationships, they need to be made more interesting as the characters develop: cosplay, video/photo shoots, public sex, light BDSM. There’s also a separate branch for open relationships. Some people say that “vanilla” sex isn’t needed—I don’t really understand that argument. Vanilla sex is the starting point. If you give away all the “spicy” stuff right away, where’s the room for character growth? If you remove intimacy between spouses in a game built on slow-burn corruption (which, by the way, is the most popular route according to polls), you might end up with no sex at all, which would be pretty odd for an erotic game. Of course, no one is forced to watch—if you don’t like a scene, just skip it.
My plans for developing the base version of the game stretch over two to three years of active development. In that time, I hope to finish the main endings or at least bring the project right up to the final stage. Then, we’ll see if it makes sense to expand further. Of course, I’d like to move steadily and consistently, but honestly—I can’t always be sure tomorrow will be as stable as today. That’s why I’m accelerating events in the game a bit, just to make sure we can finish it.
Timing-wise: the next update is planned for the end of the month, but there might be a small delay due to family matters. These things have piled up and need my attention. Sometimes I think about taking a short vacation (my last was three years ago!), but as long as the project is growing, I don’t want to lose momentum.
