As much as i'd like to dunk on this game... no

cloud meadow is straight up a scam project. the intention is crystal clear to anyone not suffering from sunk cost fallacy

this game is uhh... let's just say the creator tends to have a mood rollercoaster and rarely (if ever) playtest their own game. the heart is (or was) there but the implementations kept alienating old and new players alike

that's why I just got the code for cloud meadow's gallery and called it done lol

so games good but buggy? isn't 90% of AAA gmaes like this nowadays?

*Phew* That's good news. TBH I don't trust Derelict at all and when I saw him asking people to not use cheats on the update notes it deeply concerned me, didn't helped that some people started to ask if cheats weren't working. I'm glad to see the game is still playable with them.

But now Im curious about the whole Vagrant Pregnancy thingy.

I wouldn't say this one is buggy but definitely annoying to play by the regular means (With this I mean, non-cheaty ways), which ends up making some things to take waaaaay too long to unlock. And while this is not as big of a deal if you just found this game, for anyone who has been following it for long enough it gets "piss-off-ing", like.... Before in a pair of hours of ingame as much you could start fucking and capturing demons but now? They're very VERY late game material and the saves dont work on newer game versions on average so you have to start all over again.... Or embracy the casual/cheaty side of yourself and play more sandbox-ly, then the game starts to shine. But yeah some people may struggle with the idea of following the "trick easy" way XD

it will have some bugs but that's what we all expecting in playing an early access games so i have no problem there

the creator apparently is a fans of dark souls and mistranslated that game concept into a porn game so there's many awkwardly implemented concepts like "x need to be hard and not user friendly because hard is fun" kind of deals

just use cheats to skip through all the fruitless grinds and meaningless gateblocks and call it a day, it's ok in this particular case

EDIT: behind all the grindy gameplay annoyances, the gem in this game is the breeding mechanics that can produce unique colors and hybrids

Pretty much yeah, with cheats this game can be something amazing, but like I said "with cheats". Without it's just a headaching mess XD

Does anybody happen to have a copy of v.0.752.1?
v0.752.2 was when they patched incest out of the game and it kinda sucks as a eugenics game if you can't do the obligatory incest.
We wouldn't even have many breeds of animals and plants if it weren't for incest, so why can't we have it in a fictional game?

Also, I tried the listed incest patch (the easy one at least) and it did not work on the latest version.

Question is, why do you release a build with problematic cheats at all? You already make people wait for months for a build so just fix the cheats and release 1 week later.. what will change?.. As I fear, he will fck up everything as he can't manage or plan when the game got working systems.

Probably he still gets help about those calculations or design but he makes it fully silent this time. I hope this is the case or I too does not believe DH can handle this alone at all and we will return to back when nothing is working or you don't have any idea what is working or not..

i assume he wants people giving feedback to not use cheat codes so the feedback they give is from the perspective of a "normal" player trying the stat and mechanic changes rather then someone who used cheats skipped the grind? to get an idea of how balanced the stat changes are (though it probably wouldn't help him much if the people giving feedback used cheats in the previous build and thus don't have a feel for how the grind used to be before the change?)

Go to game directory -> create a new Text file (enable 'show file extensions' if it's not already enabled) -> rename the text file to "imma.degenerate".

This should allow you to "keep it in the family" lol.

I think the intention in this case is to test out how the new Traits and Status work, as they have been reworked. And if everyone goes, set everything to "world level 5", they won't be able to tell if X quest to unlock the next keystone is easy to do or not. This is the "testing" branch, after all.

Mby thats the case .. but than the dev should pay his "beta testers" not other way around... playing this game without cheats is a 9 to 5 Job.
