Breeders of the Nephelym (BOTN) Incest Patcher

THE PATCHER IS NOT NEEDED ANYMORE

You can easily enable incest in the game as shown below:

OVERVIEW:
A file named imma.degenerate needs to be in the same folder as OBF.exe.
  • It does not need to contain anything.
  • It must be the same folder as OBF.exe.
  • The filename is imma and the extension is degenerate.
It doesn't matter what creates the file, it should work as long as the filename/extension is correct.

METHOD 1:
In the folder where OBF.exe is located, create a file called imma.degenerate (be sure to enable show file extensions if you're using Windows explorer). The file does not need to contain anything.
METHOD 2:
Command Prompt:
In the folder where OBF.exe is located, type echo. > imma.degenerate and you'll be all set.
Command Prompt (PowerShell) :
In the folder where OBF.exe is located, type New-Item -Path . -Name "imma.degenerate" -ItemType "file" and you'll be all set.
I'm not sure how long this will work and I think it would be best for all of us to not mention it on Patreon (or DH's Discord) especially.
This works with the Steam version as well but if your Steam library is in Program Files, you'll need administrative rights to create the file on Windows 10. Please follow the Steam instructions below if you need help.
STEAM:
For Steam, this gets a bit more complex because of the higher security present in Program Files.
  • Open a "Command Prompt" or "Command Prompt (Powershell)", you'll need to run either as Administrator. (NOTE: Windows Terminal generally won't let you start an Administrator session).
  • Depending on your settings, you'll may get a elevation prompt. Accept it to continue.
  • The following step assumes the default location for the game folder. If your Steam library is installed somewhere else you'll need to use the correct path: pushd "%SystemDrive%\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Breeders of the Nephelym Alpha" (Powershell: cd "$Env:SystemDrive\Program Files (x86))\Steam\steamapps\common\Breeders of the Nephelym Alpha")
  • Now you just need to create the file: echo. > imma.degenerate (Powershell: New-Item -Path . -Name "imma.degenerate" -ItemType "file")
  • Close the command window/powershell: exit
The patcher will eventually return with support for this for a few reasons:
  • There's no telling how long this will work and we may be back to patching soon.
  • If people use a patcher for something so simple it may help hide this from Patreon from that much longer.
  • Some users may just find it it easier. Obviously if it's using the file method, it will not actually be doing any patching at all. Just creating (or removing) a file as directed.
  • The patcher is, unfortunately, not my highest priority at the moment.
hi. if it's not difficult, post a screenshot of where and which file to throw what to create, otherwise I don't understand. thanks

I did, more specifically the morph of the Base Shape
Okay, once you edit the body with the tool, you also need to use the tools within the game, when you open the Editor (which you can access once you use the code with the console).

That said, I recommend that you DO NOT add traits such as muscular, fat, or thin to your character. Because both pieces of information override each other... I mean, even though the code gives you big boobs, your character will look like it came out by default.

Yeah, that's because they are supposed to be 'sets' to be used separately, each with their own base, busty and meaty values

Emmm
Something similar, actually. You have the BOTN Tools tool, which is in an .exe file that helps you modify the values of the characters' traits and all that. You can also modify the hexadecimal value of the appearances, appearance (Fat), Muscular, Thin, as well as the value of the colors so that they have that now.

But what I meant was that sometimes, if you modify those values but at the same time modify your character (the one you use to play, aka the protagonist) to be thin, muscular, and have huge breasts. It will be reflected in the game until you go to the game editor, not the external program. But if you go to the default editor and want to modify it, your character may end up deformed with huge mammary glands. Their weight may be enormous, exceeding the game's "100."

And in the end, those values are not reflected in your character's modification. It simply looks like the original sprite without any modification.

I want to elaborate on the Essences.
When we had a 'World Level,' all that was required to upgrade a group of nephs to the next level/ more rare types, was to acquire a bunch, and then ascend them through the Angel at the temple.
It was very simple, Nephelym you had no desire to keep could be turned into points.

Now, with Essences...Let's say you want to go to level 2 for the foxen.
Well, You need another Nephelym with a specific grade of stats. In this case, D in Aptitude.
The foxen will not spawn with D in Aptitude, until their essence is leveled up.
So, how do?
You need to breed a Foxen with a different Nephelym that has a D in aptitude. Only then, will the offspring foxen be able to get Ascended, and level up The Foxen Essence.

But here is the kicker; None of the Nephs in the beginning area (the forest, Vulwarg, Riso, Foxen,) can have a D in Aptitude. So, you are forced to open a gate in a diffrent area to hunt for a Nephelym with the stat you want, so it can be bread into the foxen you need to level up.

But wait! There's more! When I say, "Foxen," We need to level up the essences of the different variants, too.
That's right, Foxen (Sionnach) and Foxen (Vulpuss) each need to be leveled up separately.
Also because of the nature of the variants being different genders, there is going to be a lot of hand picking and running around to find the male/female/futa bits that can interact correctly the way you want it.

What's bad is you need a freaking map for this. It is horrible.

I have no idea. I didn't play as a female at the time, so there were no clothes available.
dont forget even if you get someone with the traits the result of the breeding still can be the wrong gender/race or a hybrid then you might want to go in the next generation anyway to keep something to go forward with "higher" traits

So much potential and yet another developer who struggles lol. Its like a plague that affects only good games... Meanwhile a dozen new AVNs just popped up in the time I wrote this and they all look the same.

no that hit all games - for the bads you just dont care/dont even try to keep up to date so you wont see the downfall

ok some might argue the better devs make more money and might rest more comfortable on their subs if you got a bad one with 3 stock images it might be hard to attract enough patreons to matter
