This game is dead because apparently the one in charge of modelling and animating quit, so it's just Derelict (the programmer) coming up with bullshit minor patches and coding changes til people stop giving him money.

Not to beat a likely dead horse, but whenever I use the editing tools from github, the changes work (traits added to the breeder, breeder name changed, breeder race changed, etc) but Nephelym also stop spawning after applying the changes. I have no clue what might cause it, considering I'm just using the stock .py that comes with the editor, adding verbatim lines from the 'examples' link provided, and some extrapolation for additional edits (such as specific trait/stat names). It's really a shame, because having your breeder with Swift 3 does make traversal a bit less tedious, and Chubby/Slim/Meaty/Busty/Buxom do actually have effects on your appearance, provided you set them up during character creation to be different from your standard look. A reliable source of tier 3 traits is very useful to whittle down some of the early game grind, and it seems that it's only something you can do once you no longer care about capturing wild Nephelym any more, unless I somehow managed to do something VERY wrong.

Yeah most tweaks have been done solely to the UI for the last 2 years. Dere I think has been putting the game on backburner and isn't a modeler/animator which is why nothing new aside from tweaks to mechanics have been done. I was a backer and stopped for financial reasons until a serious update would release and it never came. I still enjoy the game and it's something you can play casually, but the latest Public build that released gives you everything in the game essentially and you don't need to buy anything unless you want access to his special channels on his server. So just enjoy what's out and know that nothing else will likely ever be added.

The ammount of money hes making / month he could fly in an animator from Cleveland Ohio to Kualalumpur by a private jet and pay his logding and salry while laughing on a beach drinking pinacoladas....
He just doesnt give 2 **** beacuse the paypigs pay anyway.

guys, i dont know if its a bug, but Chubby trait is bugged. I tried with all levels of chubby trait but none of them seems to be inheritable and also it sometimes comes along with meaty trait. It inherits the meaty trait, but no chubby trait.

can't wait for the next update in half a year that fixes bugs, introduces new bugs, tweaks the UI, and changes some mechanic in a drastic but non-meaningful way

this is exactly why they should stop supporting this game. The developer seems to wake up only when the abandoned tag comes out for fear of no longer receiving patreon subscriptions but it's disrespectful that to remove the abandoned tag he adds two bullshit things, he's taking the piss out of us big time...guys wake up don't support this game anymore because otherwise we have the opposite reaction

You missed the point.
You warn about milking or scams not to hope that the scammer changes but to inform others in the hope that they don't join the ranks and those that support with the smallest glimmer of hope that the project will get better stop wasting their money.
If enough people stop supporting, the dev will either have to rethink things or give up on the venture all together. The problem isn't the scammers but those who are too kind spirited, hardheaded, stupid and/or delusional to notice the writing on the wall thus allowing the scam to continue.
You don't want to hear about it? Turn a blind eye and move on.
You complaining about people point out the scam isn't going to change anything either.

Partially right. Before botn he was a freelance 3d artist so he does have experience in creating 3d models and it's always shown, the models have always been the highlight of his game.

in the save editor what do i change to make a nephelym an S rank each stat shows a rank and I'm not sure what to change it to to change the rank number to please help
