I genuinely enjoyed this game way more than Cloud Meadow. Sad.
Im going to be straight with you,i fucking hate cloud meadow character design (with a few exeption).I fucking hate the wack body proportion, the lack of sex variation, the overpopulation of furri-ish monster and the fact that at least 70% of the monster girl seem to have gigantic tits.Dont get me wrong,if you have these fetishes i complettly respect that (after all,who am i to judge someone else fetish on a porn site) but its just so far remove of what i liked abouth breeding season that it frustrate me to no end. There also the fact that the guy that who did meadow essentialy sabotaged all chance of it ever being finish...

if there is one thing or two that meadow had a edge over breeding season, its the story telling aspect and the fact they have a battle system...and thats pretty much it.

i don't have the ressources to even make this into a project.
Honestly, I see an easy solution. Why don't we talk to some Developers that make games like that?

We give them the 2.33GB folder and pay them to finish the game. The hardest part is done, engine, systems, a lot of the art...
It's like someone left a goldmine alone, it was super successful, it's a great opportunity. What do you think, we try?

If we agree could you try to spread this idea a bit? create a group or something, on Discord or whatever, of people willing to Patreon it (or maybe Paypal it, privately, since the original team may own parts)

They can add the missing sex animations, and all things remaining. Also finish stories with characters. And if it goes well I'm sure that they will find more and more things to add if we keep supporting them.

actually, there is one real hindrance in this; the artist has his arts locked. legally. gist of it, the coder/writer had the team keep working on it back then, and took more and more "breaks" while the artist and animators did the coding. then the artist pulled out. lots of finger pointing and blame game after.
then the artist started this new team, cloud meadow, but what little i know, it differs alot.

this one took the basic idea, true. it also was on hiatus for idk how long. they did very little progress after a full stop engine change from Ren'Py to Unity. it's still pretty early stage.
i more or less lost interest mainly because of the Unity thing; most games i tried out based on that engine are lacking core things like adjustability (window size, sounds, transitions you name it) which isn't even Unity's fault. also no rollback, and the need of outer ressources (if badly coded). a major plus on Ren'Py is exactly that rollback and the standalone nature.
meh nvm engine discussions not the point of this thread.

Yea, I'll almost never play a Unity game unless the dev knows what they're doing or the content is really good; I can mod any Ren'py game to my liking and fix any issues that come up due to a bug or oversight on the dev's part. If you're not basically a professional there's no reason for you to be using Unity in this space, especially if you're not using any game physics. If you're worried about your assets being ripped, Unity isn't going to stop that from happening, and contrary to popular belief you gain nothing in using Unity over Ren'py for mostly text based games.

How do you open the 7.72 file?
1) you must have the 7.72 .swf file and the [media] subfolder within the same folder:
example--- C:\My games\Flash\Breeding Season 7.72.swf and C:\My games\Flash\media
2) run the .swf file with any flash player you find; me i use the Adobe standalone version that's been around on this site.
should be Adobe Flash player 32 or so.

Hello guys ! i download the big devs case and i can't read the .Fla case ... Do you know what cand of aplication i need ?
I think those are Flash project files, so you need Adobe Flash Professional, CS6, or whatever they used during that time. Maybe you are lucky and they are still compatible with Adobe Animate (Remember: Flash was re-branded as Adobe Animate) -- but on first look I would say it won't work and you need to find an old copy of "Adobe Flash CS5" or so.

There was a singular event from her, but I don't think it was the picture ya linked. I'm pretty sure she has her way with you, or one of yer monsters, says something about how yer weak, and how that dick now belongs to her or something. I do not remember which version it was in, it was taken out in a later version I had thought. If it had been the picture ya linked, maybe I would have been more excited about it, but I'm pretty sure it was a view of her backside, and her looking over her shoulder at you. Tbh she looked kind of heavy, at least in that version. Not fat per se, but heavy enough that I wasn't very interested.
Yeah what you describe is still in the game, actually on first encounter with her very early on, but without an animated scene, she just has a cumshot on her ass cheek all of a sudden after the dialogue progressed. In the dev files there is a stand-up sex scene with her with her back visible and one of her legs up, maybe that used to be in the game in an older version since it looks kinda low quality overall :p

RavageSavage03 For anyone trying to run any .SWF files, you need the Adobe Flash Player projector

Doesn't matter if you use debugger or non-debugger version. Debugger is only needed if you develop and create flash files, so you're perfectly fine with the default verison. It's just a standalone player as an executable ( .exe )

Somebody need to pick up and FINISH this project to undo the 'breeding' tag curse.

I initially thought it was just a joke but 2 years after the first time i heard that joke and following a bunch of breeding-themed games later i eventually realized this curse is fucking legit.

The difference between the cloud meadow and breeding season wolves are night and day. CM wolves look like furry twilight. BS wolves look like wolves

I imagine the problem would be legal troubles. The developers in question would have to deal with legally hot art assets. And the BrS team would probably have an issue with someone making money off of THEIR game too. ]

However, there might be a solution in mods instead of plain and flat development. If anyone is familiar with the Ultimate apocalypse mod, for example. Its a mod that both doubles the size of the game and effectively keeps it alive. So all we need is some modders to work on it for 15 years and then the game is effectively complete.

Its a long story, but long story short, the person who did the art didnt want to work on the project anymore, and they tried to legally claim all the art they made for the project. Effectively it ripped the team apart and all we have is the latest builds that they made before they disbanded. The artist went to make their own team, and then made a game called Cloud Meadow.
