Worth noting that there's a big difference with using something like JavaFX vs using an actual game engine like Godot.

It seems that if you leveled up when a reducing the characteristics restrains is put on the PC (-agility of the wirst cuffs, for example), then after removing the restrains, the characteristic will remain permanently lowered. I just increase vitality from 1 to 4, getting in return a decrease agility from 8 to 3, because I did it with shackles on.

When you or someone else gives birth, the children are all logged on a database in-game. Are there any plans for encountering the offspring in-game?

If you plan staying in there more than 18 years and assuming your children will end up being criminals, then maybe. Realistically, no.

The game does not need a realistic way to handle child criminals. It just needs a believable way to handle child criminals.
After all, if my character can get pregnant with 50+ kids, why can't I make 50+ more with those kids?
Because if your fetish is generally tagged as "offensive to everyone" you can't expect random people to cater to it. Didn't Free Cities basically get taken over (after the dev left) by people with that particular inclination which is why noone else is touching it, any more.

I should probably specify that when I said "child criminals", I wasn't referring to lolicon, just criminals that are your children. I'm more talking about a system like in Lilith's Throne where you can meet and screw your offspring. The game seems to have the foundation for the system in place, judging from the fact the child database exists.
Also, I'm pretty sure the Free Cities preg mod is still being developed, albeit a bit slowly.

LT handles it by literally throwing your children into another dimension so that they are instantly mature. This game has regular passage of time, and even with some kinda growth acceleration it'd take more time for a child to reach maturity than most would spend in the game period.

All you gotta do is write in a way for the prison's science lab to insta-grow your children and you've got everything you need for it to work. Like I said, it doesn't need to be realistic, just believable. We got a sci-fi furry prison, why can't it work?
They would also need time time to become criminals outside of their vats, be caught, etc. And as said bringing incest into a game means that tons of people will click away as soon as they see the tag, it's not one of those "not really into it but don't mind its presence" types of things. E.g. you can play Lost in Laminate for the Gorean aspects or Latex or both but neither is likely to be a total turn-off for people browsing the bdsm tag.
Its better if you just make a mod that does that at this point

Kink shaming would've been "ewww incest how could you you degenerate". What I said was "maybe be aware that your particular thing can easily put people off so don't expect people to bend over backwards to include it just because you come up with lore that would explain its inclusion" -- it's not just that you shouldn't ever expect people to include anything in the first place, the turn-off status of incest only makes it worse. This forum, the development community, etc. is not a soley personal thing. We live in a society and everything. Developers must consent, too, and given that it's not included yet I very much doubt it ever will.
And no rape/noncon isn't particularly off the mark in a sex combat game, it comes with the territory. Incest doesn't, it is, outside of straight-up breeding managers, more of a VN coming of age story kind of thing and even then the sucessful ones have it behind toggles.

...and why would they even do that. I can't see any logical incentives for them to. It's clear really that's just looking for ways around to put incest where it doesn't make sense.

When I upgraded to 0.1.1 yesterday, my minimap improved significantly to showing a great deal more cells making it much more useful. I'd say around 6x6 or so. But when I reloaded my game today, it went back to a paltry 3x3 like it used to be for me. Is there some way I can zoom it back out to the wider view? Even getting it to the 5x5 shown in the screenshots would be a relief. Edit: Note that I don't want to scale the entire UI, just the minimap and while mousewheel works on the paperdoll it doesn't on the minimap.
Edit 2: I find if I fiddle around with the window size and maximzing I eventually get a result I like.
