I can't speak for everyone who does it, but it bugs me a bit because I like to self-insert into these kinds of games (otherwise I'm just watching another random dude plow a chick, and that ain't it for me), and seeing the guy with a meat bat between his legs makes that a lot harder to do. I'm within range of the average pussy poker size, but compared to these sausage clubs I look like I have a micro-dick. Even guys with monster dongs irl are gonna be tiny compared to those flesh torpedoes. So for me (and a lot of other complainers) I reckon it's a matter of 'immersion' (yeah, I know, that term can be eye roll-inducing). When it's difficult to imagine yourself as the guy doing the curtain splitting, it becomes more of a voyeur fantasy than a standard issue sex god fantasy. Calling stuff complete when it obviously isn't is a bad thing not a good thing. Appropriately and honestly versioning your game is better.
Against direct competitors like Secret Cafe and Venus Club this game is 100% worse.

Fact of the matter is this game is worse than others in its genre, and the fact that the dev is not going to fix it reflects very poorly on him, not positively.
Uh, I wasn't talking about this game you know, but that he said it was delusional to expect a complete game to be released. Just because this one is crap doesn't mean complete games can't be released just fine.

For the same reason people complain about any sort of media when it exaggerates too far. It breaks suspension of disbelief and thus reduces enjoyment.
It's just like when Indiana Jones survived a nuclear explosion by hiding in a fridge. Some people didn't have a problem with that but for a lot of people it was just too far out there and it took them out of the movie. And it's the same story here. Some of us just can't suspend disbelief and enjoy watching a scene where a guys penis is larger than his forearm.

So someone doing things old school and actually making a finished product before releasing is so alien people don't know how to react to it.
I mean hell, we live in a world where even windows it self is basically a running alpha with constant patches to make it functional.
