maybe it was a mistake? did you try to contact and talk with him about the issue? i don't think he isn't open for discussion.
but personally speaking after contacting him via twitter he told me that he doesn't need my money after i told him that i like story but i like sex more and that i can't pay every month several bucks that he releases 10 - 30 pics with just talking and no major progress and sex.
after he told me this and that he is an artist who works for art (understandable) and not for a contract even there is money evolved and doesn't need my money, i told him if he is so proudly an artist and needs his space and time, he should continue with this thinking but remove the pay-wall of his pics. he never responded.
i think story and a built up for sex scenes is nice and makes the work more quality, his renders are quality, but if you want to create to much built up in a porn comic you can't expect all people are willing to buy for that content every time or in general. - especially if he doesn't need the money, as he told me.
i don't know what other comic artist do, never supported a comic artist except him if thats quite the ordinary i think thats not okay.
if i would have the talent, time and money to create such amazing art/renders, and would make a pay-wall i would do the following:
- i would get rid of the 5-10 pics per week thingy and would always release an amount of renders with story till sex happens - if it needs 2,3,4 weeks depending on the scene, then it is what it is. but it would be like this for example:
october release: 55 pics, story with a bit of sex
novemeber release: 45 pics, story with teasing and sex
december release: 35 pics, with a bit of story and much sex
january release: 45 pics, story with a bit of sex
february release: 25 pics just sex
and so on.
