And your proof?
Both, subscribestar and boosty had no new post since already half a year. And on his own Discord the dev disappeard quite a while now (early January), too. Not even a "I'm alive" or "still working on the game" post there, nothing.
Well, he came back completely out of the blue with a new suprise "update" (like 5 whole renders!!) last time. Result: there will now forever be a group of faithful ostriches posting for eternity that the game is 'definitely going to be finished someday soon.'
And posters with 3 whole posts to their name are one of two things: complete noobs who know nothing (Jon Snow), or secondary accounts of trolls who aren't man enough to post under their normal username. Either way, not worth paying any attention to.

Developers need breaks you know. There's nothing wrong with that. Besides, this happens every year. An update comes out and they go silent. The person always comes back. The person tends to do that alot. It's just how they do things. at this point, the fans should have realized that by now, especially with how much the dev does this. I'm guessing your new or something?

My proof is common sense and a look at the developers track record for updates.

To be fair, any update is still an update. It doesn't change the fact that it's still not abandoned. An abandoned game means the developer no longer makes any for of update to it in any way shape or form... because they completely abandoned the project. Which only proves my point, it's not abandoned.

Actually it doesn't. That "update" (which most would argue was a phony update just posted to take the Abandoned tag off the game so some subscribers would be fooled into hanging around) was from before Halloween. It is now almost summer with not a peep since then, so that tag is 100% justified.

If some new content appears in the future super. But clinging to the fantasy that a game whose last 2 updates were a completely changed story - during the Patreon Inquisition - that nobody liked and a phony update containing essentially no content is odd at best. But more power to you. (y)

This is one of the most favourite game of mine. Its the perfect netori game. But the sad thing is top tier games like this gets abandoned. Anyone knows any netori game of this level like this one? I know about the masterlist but that list is huge. Even the samllest netori scene in a game is enough to take a place in there. So if anyone knows anything near this one, ket me know.

This ^...it WAS a top tier game until the dev bent the knee to his Patreon overlords, not having the foresight or brains to switch to another platform like SS. Nobody liked the last couple of updates, and the magic that made this game popular is gone. Just like this dev having a limp noodle of a spine with Patreon, he lacked the spine to tell everyone he's giving up and just ghosted after all the hate IMO.

My opinion: the game was running down a dangerous hill.
Like the stocks, that must to grow up every year to not fail, so this game should has relaunch at every update to keep up the interest in the story, but the characters are really too young for it, it's wrong and not funny.
My two cent.

this site is so bad at upholding their rules. The Good son took over 2 years to finally get an abandoned tag soooooo
Don't know that game, but as long as the dev could be shown to have a flicker of life anywhere on the web, the Abandoned tag won't be applied until >18 months after the last update, and then it requires someone to specifically ask F95 to do so. Mods don't surveil the internet 24/7 keeping tabs on every game & dev out there - they need to be alerted by someone that the tag is now needed. The obvious problem is that after 18 months of nothing, how many people haven't already given up on the game and are still actively Watching the thread? Unless it's a hugely popular one it may take a while until anybody even notices the game passed the 18-month mark, so 2 years to get the tag doesn't sound all that suprising to me.

so many words of encouragement, from many here on this forum, a good path taken until the last update, a good plot of a guy with something bad in his past, and a new life in this new city, everything to be a great game, and I have this disappointment, to see a game among many that I liked go to the abandoned parking lot.
