Happened the same to me. Seems like the dev removing the "relationship system" kind of messed that up.

I'm using it, my issue isn't with the relations themselves and more on how they're worded. I can manage them just fine and change them at will, everything's in order in that department, but when it comes to BigBrother/Sister or LittleBrother/Sister, it stays like that.

well when they add a relationship changer ingame you normally do not have to have a patch 99% of the time so i do not understand why he did that but it is what it is i suppose i guess it is because Patreon is getting even more fucken stricter on the shit i guess . hell if some have their way we won't have porn anymore and all this will be underground type shit but that is a another topic for another day .

Looks like we starting to move on to the next family, the Smiths. Can't wait to meet Elizabeth and her family.
is there anything I need to add to it? I added it to the game folder and am still getting the message when I try to change the relations.
So this means the MC is now more involved with the Joneses and the Smiths, right?

It's from the game itself, I didn't use the patch, and they are using stuff like LittleBrother and BigSister, guessing it's an error from the dev, if I had to guess it's probably the code trying to call on the relationship variables that don't exist anymore.
Edit: If you have a save before this version then you don't need to use the patch from what I've seen they still refer to themselves by what you changed in the previous versions with the exception of the littlebrother/bigsister stuff.

Initially I thought the sister might be playing the long con and sided with them to be a mole on the inside, but I now think she's just jealous and is lashing out in a childish way because he left all those years ago that the brother spends a lot more time with his second family.

Yeah, that was my takeaway from this update as well, unless the dev is playing us.
She knew her "friend" was close by so it's possible she screamed and acted childish because she was there but maybe I'm just trying to read too much into it, and she's simply a childish/immature character that will need to be disciplined/reformed.
