Yeah, that was my takeaway from this update as well, unless the dev is playing us.
She knew her "friend" was close by so it's possible she screamed and acted childish because she was there but maybe I'm just trying to read too much into it, and she's simply a childish/immature character that will need to be disciplined/reformed.

I think we will be staying with the mc's family for a while, but since Ashley and Jessica are besties (or not) the dev will be working on the "link" to jump to the Smiths there. Also, it would be interesting that Jessica is actually attracted to the mc (apart from physically, maybe in a more practical way about gaining power through joining both families, something that clearly her father and brother won't be to happy)

Looking at the description of the Smith women, it seems to be patriarchal on the surface but it is the women that actually controls the family and are deeply involved in the politics. Her grandmother is the matriarch and possibly the true leadership of the Smiths. The women are not trophy wives. So that might explain Jessica's angle, like you mentioned joining of both families, after all they aren't the only competition.

I'm more interested in Elizabeth though, the only outlier in the family and prove that the Smiths still have a shred of humanity left in them. Just wondering what's her disability? Mute?

It's from the game itself, I didn't use the patch, and they are using stuff like LittleBrother and BigSister, guessing it's an error from the dev, if I had to guess it's probably the code trying to call on the relationship variables that don't exist anymore.

Edit: If you have a save before this version then you don't need to use the patch from what I've seen they still refer to themselves by what you changed in the previous versions with the exception of the littlebrother/bigsister stuff.

I was assuming that it was a mistake from the game itself, yeah, since there's no way for you to word them as Little/BigBrother/Sister. The only exception is that you can choose Ashley being your twin, that's about it.
I had to use the patch because I forgot to edit the extended family relationships, and since the manage tab was now gone, there was no other way for me to change that.

Mainly because this MC does use the gym.

No idea what you mean by normal, it's not like guys with muscle are rare.

It is pretty common for young, rich and successful people to take care of themselves and keep fit.

AS of .18, the relationship manager that was reachable from mc's pic is gone. You can't manage relations. Now when you click manage relationships, it tells you there is none to manage. Here is a file that will bring that option back. THIS FILE HAS NO CONNECTION TO THE DEV WHATSOEVER.

how do i "install" the patch?
What i did was: clicked the patch - on the linked webside - rightclicked and saved as .rpy
kopied the .rpy into the game folder.

but when i try to change relationships i get the message "non to change"

Who's relationship are you trying to change?

The MC has a set family so you can't just make randoms into his sisters.

There are two potential ways I could see it progress in my mind, either she's always had a soft spot for the MC but couldn't show it because of the whole relationship between the family, or she is trying to use him for power but will start to fall in love with the MC as the story goes on.

I don't see it as him looking or acting like a bully now or in the flashbacks as his younger self.
There's plenty of AVNs where the MC is a douche for sure, but this one doesn't seem to be the case unless you are always choosing that option. Sounds more like you have some kind of issue against people that go to the gym tbh, MC this feels pretty normal for a rich kid that did sports and kept healthy.

Because the dev puts out an update every month. If he waited longer it'd have more content, but then there is the wait. I'd rather have it like it is tbh. Also it's probably the way he is only focusing on one or two characters each update, he needs to spread some updates out to multiple characters/scenes to advance the story. A few updates, the whole update was a date

Yeah... Also, maybe she is attracted to him since he is not a pussy(? When the mc arrived and Ashley told it to Jessica, she went immediately to tell it to her father. Then, after receiving a warning (the police set up), the mc defied her father. So... Maybe she liked that?
