Is it just a save/reload tactic, or are the odds really good? I don't remember it being overly generous, but it's been a long time since I added the gambling at the QoH.

Maybe having a Janet/Karen (Golden Leaf's blacksmith) deal could be one extra small quest to also offer something unique.

Are there multiple buildings in disrepair after the fixes? The one at the docks is intentional (although I can't remember if I planned an event of some sorts for it), but I don't remember others being in a poor state if you really fix everything. There are, however, the mill and the tavern which only get repairs done if the town's prosperity reaches a certain treshold (so they might take some extra effort before you can see them without cracks).
Yeah, save/load, and from my observation after plying it long enough, if you go all in on red/black all the time chances of winning are somewhere between 40-50%. Spider's nest has lower chances than Queen of hearts with high/low from what I've observed, and save/load there isn't possible. It's a cheesy tactic I admit, so if you want you can adjust it (for example limit how much you can earn from there per day/in total).

Janet and Karen coop would work since Karen is a blacksmith, but currently she only sells armor at lower prices so adding something for her would be nice too.

Ah I didn't know that those in the docks are intentional, I even thought it was a bug since you get repair the city option from Keiko's list, but the dock is still in a pretty bad state. As for other houses, there are still some weeds growing on them, so I thought that would be solved after repairing the city (also intentional or am looking too much into this?). Well, quest list says that Golden Leaf quest is still incomplete, so if you want to add something related to that you can.

Hardly a problem, although I'd suggest using the debug tool, at that point (in the travel sphere, there is a pile of money you can use to set how much you have).

I agree that Janet and Karen working on something would make sense and hit two birds with one stone.

There is one building in the docks which is in ruins (actually, I just noticed a minor bug: there is a note on the wall which reads: "Keep out! Structural damage, unsafe building.", but players can't read it as it is now). I think you are right, I should have the weeds on the tavern disappear (maybe I'll make the ones on the church bloom with flowers, instead). There was some intentionality there, because I wanted some amount of "props" on the walls, to make them look more varied, but I should pick something which looks better, if I want that.

Yep, I can still add something to the quest if I want to, I kept it open specifically to make sure I'd have the flexibility if I still wanted to add to the town.

First puzzle the one with 9 buttons is ironically the most hardest compared to other one huh. So only animal shapeshifting, that's not rock at all. Kidding.

Chapter 2 Ahoy, and a terrorist attack, huh how utterly convenient.

Damn a Cold War, in my porn games? Would be interesting if we can either be neutral or taking advantage of both side. Even more interesting if both sides are just a shade of gray or geniuely good factions that just stand each other. Then again the faction probably will be the standard good vs evil/ lesser of two evils.

Seems like combat isn't the focus in this game, lack of encounter, lack of enemy, lack of gears and armor variety reflect that. For now I avoided lewd things in case lewd thing actually corrupted you, reduced your stats or giving bad end. xD Review and opinion might be coming later, since i haven't played past chapter 2 yet.

during the lost in the woods quest my save file got permanently deleted. not in my recycle bin or anywhere in the game folder. really don't want to have to re-play all of the content since the last time I saved a separate one

Unfortunately, I don't think it's easy to retrieve (I guess you could try to use one of those programs like Recuva, to see if you can rescue the data, but that's about it).

This happened to a few people recently. In my experience, it's usually a problem with the folder being set to "read-only" or privileges for the folder, but I have to wonder what's going on, if it's happening more often. I haven't touched scripts in a while, though, so I can't see what would cause this.

Are you sure you posted this in the right thread?

Do you mean specifically for the bimbo trait? I don't think I have another quest like that. I do similar stuff for certain factions you can get involved with, but I don't think I made use of the trait for other quests like that. Something to keep in mind, though.

You get no messages, then? I know it's boring, but did you try re-installing the RTP (either from the first post, or through my patron page, just in case) and redownloading the game? I assume you don't get any antivirus warning either, correct?
yes the green hair dude on the beginning that show you around,he tried to ambush us once right, does he only did it only that time or there more available event on him

Oh, you meant Gaspar, not Vargas! I thought it was the name of someone from another game. XD

He only tries once, he isn't exactly the brave type. In a specific quest later on, you can actually dominate him, if you want. Other then him inviting you to the gambling den downstairs, he doesn't have much more right now, however.

how do you exit the Debug room?
The magic circle at the center takes you out. However, if you use the travel sphere inside the debug room, you overwrite your "exit position". In that case, you'll have to use the teleport room (magic circle to the right, if I remember correctly), and pick one of the pre-determined locations.

Is there any way to get the spider lady quest/path if you run away when first seeing her? I assumed they'd use the church more than once and just visiting the church next time it's the same moon phase or something would give another chance to not run away but so far doesn't seem like it.

Anyway some random notes:
Gaspar's tour mentions two hospitals, what's up with the one that's locked? Some sign saying it's closed because of reasons or something would be nice(also looking forward to becoming a horse and ending up in the stables(and maybe becoming a steed for the guard there?)).
The student complaining about rent made me wonder if I could become charitable enough to offer to help a fellow scholar out by letting them live in my new fancy mansion.
Was kind of hoping that if you bought fake potion from the swindler in the inn it'd lead to another such event or some sort of follow up.
Really like the Hypnotist Pendant scenes, I think I got all that are in chapter 1 and looking forward to whatever scenes later chapter will have with it(if any, the lady in Zanark still not having gotten more money in chapter 2 makes me slightly worried) Also, not an obvious fit but the Dancer living in the 3rd floor of apartments sounded a bit like she could use some hypnotic help with being able to sleep better, not sure how exactly that could turn lewd though, maybe by needing a "warm hug pillow" or just masturbating before(or, with some help, during) sleep.
Not being able to intentionally break Zanark library rules by trying to burn books or block of ice was disappointing. Also overall kind of disappointed how magic doesn't feel like it works that often, the tutorial made me expect lot more from it(I suppose not being able to set fire to the log in tutorial should have clued me in that there wouldn't be any "useless" magical interactions and it might feel worse if you could actually push pretty much anything not nailed down and burn almost any vegetation but barely ever achieve anything interesting with that).
How do you free or return a slave?
It seems most events unique to Marinta's Charm don't cause inhibition loss so do the ones that do, cause it just because you can get a version of them without it and it hasn't been adjusted? Or is there some other logic for why you seemingly remember and are affected by some events better than others? Mainly thinking about the sailor in the inn.
Not doing anything about Catherine is nice but actually dealing with her turned out more boring than I expected. Not sure why, I suppose one thing I was hoping for was that emphasis on how now she'd be totally under control and such would be foreshadowing for when that'd stop being the case due to something like an issue with the box.
Nelson seemed great but after finishing letter deliveries was a bit disappointed how that was seemingly it, no other quests or such.
Sleeping outside doesn't seem that risky?

Very minor bug(unless the hole Janet made in creepy cave becomes relevant or something):As far as I could tell/remember if you lose the wisp fight, throw small crystals to get the large ones, complete the quest and return to the cave the wisp fight is still there and lets you get another set of large crystals that you can't get rid of which makes you unable to enter the map again. If there's no reason to get back to creepy cave that doesn't really matter though.
Another even more minor one:Getting magic water from circus says it's a hi-potion(it isn't)
Oh yeah, just checked and seems like starting chapter 2 didn't, like I had hoped it would, fix the annoying situation of dancing in Red Dune always triggering the Sole and Luna offering their lessons despite already having done that.

The spider lady event ends there, if you run away. Connecting it to the moon phases might have been a cool idea, but I'll leave it as it is now.

It mentions two hospitals? Then the tour is wrong. XD This might be an issue with an earlier version of the map, or maybe I simply misremembered when I wrote the dialogue. The house there isn't the hospital, but a place you can visit after if you get a couple of specific random events (getting drunk at the pub). I'll fix the text to only reference the real hospital.

You won't be getting any roommates (unless we count the slaves you can get). Even then, I still need to make it possible for the male slave to move to Golden Leaf, actually, I'll have to do that this month.

The swindler has moved on to his next victim... XD

Glad you liked the hypnotist. The content for that one isn't tied to chapters, so you might have gotten everything already, depending on how thorough you were.

Were you trying to burn all copies of a book to make it unique? XD The library only cares if there is a copy of it inside its walls or not. Plus, the library is alive, so you'd get kicked out the moment you tried to cast dangerous magic on the books.
It's hard to make a general system for magic, especially given how RPG Maker works under the hood. If you have suggestions for interactions you think would be really interesting, but weren't in the game, let me know.

Lea's path leads to you freeing her if you date her and encourage her to be less submissive. Jin will also convince you to free him, if you let him dominate you (if I remember correctly). I didn't add the option to free them after buying them, but I have been considering it for a while (it's just awkward story-wise, since you can't really get an arc out of that, at least not for a dick like Jin). I don't think I'll add a way to return them.

For the charm, I try to keep it logical (with the way the people involved word things affecting the result), but I kept it "flexible" for the sake of smut, so I was a little loose with the rules. It's not very significant in any plot either, so I didn't feel hard pressed to set strict boundaries.

Every now and then, I try to keep things simple. I didn't even think about a significantly different path for Catherine, honestly.

Nelson might get some more content, but otherwise, it's a similar case as with Catherine, I didn't want it to grow out of proportions.

Not risky at all, at least right now. I wanted to write a couple of events for each city where you can sleep outside, but maybe I'll scrap this idea entirely, it doesn't seem very important.

Fixed the bug in the cave, thanks for letting me know. ^_^ Access to the cave is left as is, in case players forgot some of the small mana crystals and want to get back inside even after the quest.

Fixed the Hi-potion typo.

The Sole and Luna offer should be fixed in the current Patreon version, so it will go public in ten or so days from now. Every bug reported can take up to an extra month of time to show up, depending on when the report was made and if the Patreon version needed a hotfix or not (I don't mantain both versions at the same time, to avoid needlessly re-applying the same fixes every time).

Without his presumed swindler friends/competitors hearing about or taking note of his success?

I was expecting to get punished in some way for attempting(being kicked out being the more expected but boring punishment). With how pointed the game is about the rules I'm hoping for the library to at some point trap, mind control or fuck me in some way if I "accidentally" break the rules or otherwise piss off the library and was cheekily trying to see if I could get a hint of that before it's actually meant to happen in the story.
If you have suggestions for interactions you think would be really interesting, but weren't in the game, let me know.
Probably not that interesting but having game recognize if you're trying to cast a spell on an npc and give some dialogue for why Erica won't do that or why it won't work(or for stuff like push and fire just make the NPC pop a question mark bubble or something to indicate it technically does something but is ineffective) could be nice if that isn't too hard to do. In general I suppose mainly I'd want most screens to have one or two things that detect magic finds even if it's just for some flavor text so that casting it without some sort of obvious prompting doesn't feel like as much of a waste of time. Also having detect magic work on a per map basis instead of what's currently visible on screen would be better but wouldn't expect it given there's content that kind of depends on current behavior.
Oh yeah, since farm job mentions pushing crates out of the way after you fall asleep I hoped I could push them myself but not sure what I'd expect to achieve with that.

In that case maybe adjust the wording when buying them(in the contract or was it something the merchant said?) since only reason I thought I'd be able to return them is because the game mentioned it.

What can I say? He is a very reserved, private swindler... XD

That's a case of "let's not waste limited dev time". If I wrote a scene like that, it would probably be for something concrete (like trying to steal or destroy a specific book for someone) instead of punishing players for trying things out (it might even happen by mistake, as they try to achieve something completely different). There are a lot of corners to get cut, to keep the game going in a timely fashion (and I am arguably way beyond schedule, thanks to feature creep).

Also having detect magic work on a per map basis instead of what's currently visible on screen would be better but wouldn't expect it given there's content that kind of depends on current behavior.
That's the kind of stuff that is a LOT of work, if you want to do it for every NPC. Even if you avoid any "customization" (that is, you avoid dialogues so you don't have to display the names or worry about the personality of the person), it would require me to manually edit every single NPC that needs this feature included. That's time consuming, even if you have prepared a canned system for the reactions. In RPG Maker, you can't even easily jump from NPC to NPC, they are all considered "events" (events are anything that involves the game's logic on maps, they can be cutscenes, items, etc.), and events are displayed directly on the various maps (so you need to manually open each map, and then edit the relevant events one by one). To put this another way, RPG Maker is very unfriendly to sweeping changes, and going back is always a chore.

Now, adding more detect magic targets is much easier, instead. Yeah, the game relies on the map view to react appropriately, for a few reasons (which I think are obvious).

I was considering at one point having detect magic play an audio cue for each target you can find on the map (and/or show a count on the screen), but had to scrap the idea (some maps are separated into smaller maps, meaning you'd be able to detect entities that you can't reach without a map transition, which would be confusing, and there are some technical issues as well). Well, if I ever have a similar mechanic in future games, I know what to do now, however.

Oh yeah, since farm job mentions pushing crates out of the way after you fall asleep I hoped I could push them myself but not sure what I'd expect to achieve with that.
That's actually relevant if you ever pick up a quest to investigate the farm, actually. Basically the game won't let you do that, unless Erica herself has a good reason to suspect something is amiss.

In that case maybe adjust the wording when buying them(in the contract or was it something the merchant said?) since only reason I thought I'd be able to return them is because the game mentioned it.
This one I'll probably keep this way. While it might be confusing that it's not an actual mechanic, it makes sense from a lore perspective, which is why it was in there to begin with.

What options are there for monster pregnancy? I turned the option for them on in the temple, but I haven't actually run into any monsters yet.

Right now, there aren't too many (just two, the chief of the minotaur village, which is tied to becoming a noble, and slimes in the forest near Tarkas). I'd like to add at least a couple more, before the game is finished.

Will you be doing more with the werewolf path? Seemed very incomplete last time I tried it
Yep, the path will be finished. Bare minimum, I'll add a way to become the alpha. I kind of wanted a side-quest as well, but that one might not happen.
