Not Superman and no soy boy; not Einstein but not a total shithead either. He shares characteristics of Han Solo, Lando Calrissian and Mal Reynolds (Firefly/Serenity.) Choices will matter here too, possibly even more than in Callisto, with three main story paths to follow. Choices have a direct affect on the MC and crew relationships as well. MC has one such story branch already in chapter one with four choices of how to deal with the pirates as seen in the spoiler image you posted earlier.

Meet Krog, ace engineer and mechanic...

Krog is a salty old dog, quick to criticize with a sharp wit full of "colorful" language. But, he has his good points too. There's a good bit more to Krog than scowls and barks. He's even caught smiling at times... briefly...

Of the choices to deal with the pirates... I like the one that makes Krog smile the best. It's a non-violent solution yet a bit of a dirty trick... :devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish::devilish: View attachment 1918423

One of the choices is rather chaotic and nefarious yet rather effective and lethal... Reminds me of something Marv said in Sin City... "I love hitmen. No matter what you do to them, you don't feel bad." The creative choice is the one that makes Krog and the MC share a smile. The other two... Nope! Not going there in my play... One word of advice... never negotiate with terrorists or pirates! Hahaha :ROFLMAO::devilish::LOL::devilish::LOL:

There will be plenty of lovely ladies and sexy good times as the story progresses. However, the story is the main focus, even more so than in Callisto. Whichever path you choose... buckle up and knuckle up for a wild ride!!!:devilish::devilish::devilish:

Adventure ever on my friend, Phat:devilish:(y)
Suggestion that Xavster do some character cards...something like this but without the background. This could be included in the game and probably seen in a gallery at the start.

Wow! That was fast! Already got us a positive reply...

Xavster said, "Going to have an interface that is accessible likely in v0.2 which will contain a whole heap of game information. Going to be slicker than the one in Callisto, which is the reason I have been doing things like searching for faction logos. Also wanted these information pages to be dynamic to a degree, such that the text will change as you learn more about a character."(y)

Gathering from what Xav said, this will be accessible during the game similar to the computer in the captain's cabin of Callisto, just a new and improved format. Again, great idea, my friend. Have a great day!(y)

seems like a really short game, which is a real shame. I was hoping the MC was going to get more to do. I enjoyed it while it lasted. I still have the ending to play to be fair, but it feels like it could have gone on many adventures and perhaps it should have done. More character development would have been nice. Some of the girls are truly one dimensional stereotypes. Non of that really matters. It was enjoyable if far too short imo. I liked the crew, maybe you can do something with them in the future. maybe a follow up story to callisto.

say that to lando. :p
To be fair, Lando didn't live in space.
He spent time there, but he lived on Bespin & some other planets prior to that.
Also, I'm confident there's a difference between someone's skin colour & being tanned...
Being tanned denotes a darker version of your own skin colour.
Lando was born the colour he is, he didn't become that way through sunbathing. It's his natural skin colour.

In short, he's not tanned & didn't live in space.

Someone help me out here. Last time I played this was in 4.1
I restarted the game now that it's completed but the story seems to jump all the way to the cap'n quarters. Is there no way to see the story from the beginning again?

Might be something in persistent file, maybe?
Have you deleted all old data from AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Callisto?
Although not sure that would alter anything, when starting a New Game.

When you first load into the game or at any point thereafter, click to access the computer console in the captain's quarters. Then select the "Prologue" in the upper left corner to view all of the early scenes containing the background for MC, Tanya, Julia, Tiffany, Lia and Kara. I think that was done to avoid having players who had already played the early chapters replay everything they had already seen. When you land in the captain's quarters at the start of the completed game, that is where your choices begin to matter. The rest is just backstory in the prologue. The story there is really interesting so well worth the time to check it out. Hope this helps! Adventure ever on my friend, Phat:cool:(y)
