NOT sure, as for inviting to bed, I mix it up, I never invite the same one to bed 2 times, so I go through them all at least one time for the whole week, and when I have gone through them all, then the rest of the time, I go to bed alone. As for me, I keeping them around 8 to 9, but that is about how I am doing it for me.
Since I've been AFK for the last 10 days, I'm surprised at all the comments when I've had none for so long but since you have asked nicely let me help you understand the logic/idea of the game a little better.

Quest Tracker
First don't play to hit every single point on the board. It is there to help you 'track' your way through the story(s). For EX: on the "trading Lessons' they're there to help you see how Tiffany is learning her role to become the ship's trader/negotiator. you don't have to hit every one just get to the point where Sam takes over and that line is done. (Hint: I don't hit her gold stars and start her learning until at least the second week because so many silver star events can happen that if she learns to quickly, you might miss)

Also the same for the "Love Quest". Don't try and max out girl's stats. Yes, you don't even have to sleep with one every night...(hint: let someone get low love numbers and see what happens) This isn't a "MAX ALL POINTS" to enjoy game.

For Main Story line events they begin after you get the mission to free Dione but you can/might miss some of the Backstory and Side events if, during your trading travels you do not land on the Beehive Station. That triggers side missions.

Other hints to get the most out of this space trading and adventure simulator are behind the "?" button AND in the Computer behind the center photo of Callisto herself.

I'll be happy to help anyone interested in trying to understand and enjoy the game which presents the player with some real life choices (like, sometimes to win, you must first lose).

(Final hint: I've completed an upgraded ver 1.21. I've added an action sequence to help understand the MC's backstory and enhanced the Preferences to add more variations besides just a walk through and tried to make the point of the story clearer in the end. If anyone is interested, that is.)

But it can only be because you are not trully listening to what they are saying and standing in a strawman in their place.
Since the tone of your review is mostly toward me and my choices in modifying and enhancing this game that I too personally happen to love, I will only point out a couple things.

One: The wide spread wish for a Harem ending is a personal preference. This game never had and was never meant to provide so you should forgive my not adding one. That would be 'out of character.' However, modern Psychology does identify that desire as an 'infinite satisfaction' wish and classifies it as 'non-realistic'. That was what I was commenting on. I can understand many men wanting it, but the original DEV and I both indicated it wasn't here.

Two: "...That the sex that happens in the beginning is forced and meaningless, unearned, contrived and makes no sense." This statement only shows your lack of understanding the story and game. That scene is essential for the MC to be kicked out of the Space Corps! It sets up the entire adventure! If you don't understand that, I see why you can think every thing else to be 'internally inconsistent' and 'bizarre'. Ok, fine but that is an example of your POV not mine nor the original DEV's in writing the story.

Three: As I've just shown, I do listen to what you and others have said. I just don't bother with mostly unhelpful, personal demand comments. If anyone wants to talk about the game/story and how to make it better/more consistent, or needs help with something, I'm all ears.

Ok, I've got a question for all of you complainers about how the game ends.

You're the MC. You've just defeated the Hive with the loss of your ship. You're temporarily head of the Dione led defensive space force (and you don't like being in the military) and you're standing before the President who has asked you what your intentions are for your future...

You have the option of retiring with one of your crew members (as determined by previous choices) or...

or...?? or what??

how would you end this saga??

Right. And I did. My earlier rant notwithstanding

Um. The context was that I’m quoting what people are actually saying in response to all your assertions that that all of your criticis are just unhappy because they want more sex.

You left out the context to make it seem like I was complaining about the sex scene rather than calling into question the basis of your accusations to your critics. Again, the strawman.

But if you want talk about the Tiffany/MC origin. Only if you want.

This would be a "partially true" score after a political debate for a couple reasons. Though I appreciate what you probably see as an honest attempt.

Main reason being, is that the other large part of what you have been doing is dismissively casting aspersions that anyone being critical is impatient and puerile and simply can't appreciate your more mature ending. I bought that rhetoric wanting an ending that you characterized as better, more mature and many other things, but now that I have gotten there that is definitely just one opinion if ever there was one.

Adult adventure novels are my vibe and the story of Callisto is simply the best story I've ever played, rivaling solid, commercial scifi series and games. I like that that the sex is earned and gradual and stemming from palpable relationships, as do many others. And it is precisely because, not in spite of, the fact that I appreciate consistent, realistic endings that the new ending feels even more like a slap in the face than the original.

It's your ending. You made it for yourself. You like it. And some few others do too. For all your effort and passion, I genuinely wish that your vision aligned with more people. But to keep insisting that people don't appreciate your ending because they can't handle it's maturity or realism when they are specifically articulating how they see it as less mature and less realistic is either myopic of disingenuous.

But I bought your claims, invested dozens of hours and now regret it.

So after reviewing all the comments made above in this link, I realized that DoubleDabbler was playing the game from an entirely different focus than my mod was intended to achieve which accounts for his dissatisfaction to a degree.

That said, this is not a game you play for 'love points', nor to score every event in the 'Quest Tracker' screen. Xavster_gaming (and I) intended it to be the combination of a world where you could have interesting adventures while trading across the galaxy, salvaging wrecked space ships, creating a side night-club business finally leading up to a 'save the galaxy' Saga. It is a great game.

My mod is intended to create a deluxe version of the original, adding more story, more realism with animation, sound effects, in progress mini-game challenges and an additional, alternate ending. I believe anyone who liked the original, will also like my 'deluxe version' as it detracts nothing from the original and adds a lot.

So, after reviewing all comments and living with my 'final' ver 1.0 for the last few months myself, I've realized it could also be improved. I've been working of an upgrade to it which I'm more satisfied with as a final version and I'll release it shortly.

It will change my alternate ending slightly, add more scenes especially a new start screen to allow those who've played before to begin more quickly without a lengthy introduction and add to the MC's backstory.
It will continue to offer a WALK THROUGH option for those who want to skip my added mini-game challenges.
It will continue to offer Font and text size, box opacity expanded save game area and other options for ease of playing.

This is still, Callisto, the best Adult Sci-Fi game on F95 (IMHO).

great and a easy cheat, such as the motorbike race, with your game, I could not get the correct race set up to beat it, I would get, you died while racing or she beat you and took your bike. so if maybe a cheat button like a NOS BUTTON to use at the end of the race to stay ahead of her in the race would be great.

I know, we guys hate to lose. (But sometimes when you get lost, that's when you find yourself...)

...because sometimes when you lose....you win. (turn on the walk through in the preferences)

Is there a way to roll back the game to restart this quest? I've been saving as I play, but I hate to see failed quests. Or can I get a walkthrough that explains each step as you play the game, so I don't get a failed quest showing in my list?

Ha ha...Hi syfy88man, a little misunderstanding going on here. Let me help.

The short answer is yes, but you misunderstand this indicator, this is not a 'quest' it is just one scene. It is a step Tiffany has to go through...no...may go through to complete her evolution to becoming Callisto's commodities trader. And I went back and checked, this one is entirely optional. You can easily skip it without missing any events later.

This highlights one of the things I like Callisto for, you don't have to do all the quests to complete the story. You can go back later and replay with different choices and get different scenes & outcomes (some good, some not so good, some ah-who cares). Of course this assumes you've been saving games along the way...or don't mind restarting.

Have fun and thanks for asking.

Oh, btw, I'll be uploading an update ver 1.21 in a week or so, so keep an eye out for it. cheers

oh ok, yea I was looking for all of the gold stars but as for some of the silvers ones, some of them are repeatable ones that I have done a few times, then just skip them since oh it the doctor and I need relief, so yea I been making sure that I click on all of the gold stars but at least all of the silver stars, I do them a couple of times, then skip the rest of them since it seems that it a repeatable quest to see again. As for making sure that I get all of them completed, yea I restarted the game again and made sure that I had your walkthrough active as I restarted the game story again. YES I am one of them Accolade Hunters that love to see all the quest with a completed list done in each game that I play.

syfy88man , that's great. Everyone should play for the way that is best for their own enjoyment. I hope you'll enjoy the new upgrade I'll be putting out in a week or so. Ver 1.21 has a new beginning, some extra scenes and a few more things for you to find. I played my release version myself for several months and couldn't help myself when I found I was dis-satisfied with a few, what I felt were 'omissions' in the story. There won't be more silver/gold stars to indicate them but you'll stumble onto them anyway as they're in the story line. cheers.

And what is the purpose of this game, it completely repeats what was in the old game and adds another annoying game, for example, the game of the bike, the main character should lose according to the plot, but for some reason they push a game on us in which you can’t win, but you can only lose according to the planned scenario, the choice that the player gets is striking in that there is nothing, one line is correct, others lead to death, what is the point of this game, it is no better than the old version and in some places worse?

if you haven't gotten past the bike race, you haven't seen anything yet. So I'm not gonna try to change your mind.

But you asked, what is the purpose of the bike race?
It's that sometimes life throws you snake eyes...

how you deal with it says a lot about how successful you'll be later.

So you going to let a little thing like losing a bike race stop you?

You didn't understand the question, or I didn't write it clearly. In a bike race, there is only one story arc - losing. I understand that was the case in the old game, but why lose according to a pre-prepared scenario in order to advance the plot? What is the point of this mini-game for the player if he loses all the time and there is no new story arc, it is just a waste of time.

I would get a new ship and continue to explore with my full crew and not just do nothing like your ending does - all the other girls are now thinking what a jerk he was
Continue the story with little ones from each of the girls and make the new ship HOME

No it is not, not even close - get an ending most of the readers will be happy with and maybe in the top 10 - stop patting yourself on the bacck and realize few people agree with your lowsy endings

I'm late to the party and I didn't play this version yet but I'll talk about the beef I have with the original and it's ending:
You're the MC. You've just defeated the Hive with the loss of your ship. You're THE head of the Dione led defensive space force and THE right hand man of the president of the biggest alliance outside human space. You're standing before the human President who has asked you what your intentions are for your future. You have the option of retiring with one of your crew members or you don't just choose someone before you stabilise the mess currently going on.

It was silly to "Choose" a LI and then watch as, at least, 2 major developments end in an ambiguous way. Like you're telling me that the MC couldn't help his girls because he doesn't bang them anymore?

So my proposition is the
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

My main gripe with the original was and still is the choice to help just one of the girls. Like ffs I built the biggest fuckoff fleet in the galaxy. I won the trust of all the races in the anti-hive alliance (humans included). I UTTERLY CRUSHED THE HIVE UNDER MY FEET! But still I can't let's say help both Lia and Tiffany because I don't bang one of them so suddenly I'm a bit too busy to care about the struggles of the other girls. OOPS! TEHE~
Even if we say that everything in the endings CAN or DOES happen without the MC, the original did a very poor job portraying that.

TL;DR: Make an option where the MC helps all the girls in his crew and only before Tanya leaves for her long journey have a farewell party where the MC can settle down.
