I meant the guy(s?), just got confused because the hair in the second to last image didn't look like it corresponded to a "wet" version of the other hairstyle. Are they two different guys or is it just that one is the start of a shower and one is further into one?

In the one where the water is floating around in globs, his hair is not really wet at all yet. So it is one guy with almost dry hair and the other where his hair is soaked completely.
MC has a harem throughout the whole game but ends up losing all of them, WTH??? Have I done something wrong?

B: Realistically, Shit happens. And the real question is, how do you handle it when it does?
C: The MC doesn't lose them all. You have a choice of several realistically possible outcomes. Choose the one that best suits you.
Personal Side note: Reality vs Fantasy
Yes, you might have expected the ending to be a harem fetish fantasy, IE: "And they all lived happily together, fucking each other's brains out...sometimes in a pile, forever." Are you disappointed?
The fact that this Adult Adventure Sci-Fi story did not end in that impossible dream wish scenario is one of the major things that attracted me to it. It's more honest. The MC acts like an Adult at the end (responsible even though he's humanly vulnerable) and I think that speaks to the admirable and noble instincts within men. Life's not fair. Harems don't last forever. The ending shows a basic characteristic of the hero if he chooses his duty, resilience in adversity, or if he indulges in choosing one crew member, his lesser human side.
If you must have a fantasy forever ending, try "Greener Pastures" or other similar games. If you can see the truth that this game reveals maybe it'll help if/when you encounter similar personal situations. This ending is more realistic.
This may sound weird, but could someone provide me with a full save? I encountered a nast bug that won't let me leave Gideom near the end of the game and my last save is too far back

I might have one if I knew where you were in the story line. Go to the Quest tracker(the light bulb on button on the menu) and post a pic of what it looks like so I can see if I can send you one that won't goof up your place in the story. A full save doesn't work that way.

Ok, sorry for the delay. Got 'deflected' by life.
Here's one that is almost where you are as I missed a couple 'miscellaneous' things along the way but here you are entering the club and you should be able to exit (I did) and complete the game.
BTW, on a side note. I've decided to do one more upgrade as a couple things still bothered me. One thing led to another and I'm working on ver 1.2 which will now be the final release. s/b out in a month or so and let me get back to a life. thanks for playing

OK what is the correct race? I have done it 10 times, each time, I either died, or she beats me and it makes me repeat it again, grrrrrr, wish there was a NOS BUTTON to hit and at the end of the race to beat her.
Can someone explain how tf the love index and the quest works in this game?
I keep having silver events with kara so she seems almost maxed out (if the max is 10)
Julia's goes up every time I visit her in the clinic
Tanya's started very high and keeps dropping even though I invite her to bed every night and do all the things
Everyone else's seems to go up or down idiosyncratically beyond my control. I'll do spates where there are no silver or gold events and I have the generic repeated actions with everyone and they still drift up or down.
The quests have letters. You'd think this indicates an order. But I have A and C done but B is greyed out and not indicated as bypassed, like it can still be done. Then for shower and engine room A suddenly shows up as bypassed. So does one of the trading lessons. Can't fathom when this would have happened/ Bypassed seems to indicate I should have had some choice which I didn't.
If they have stars I don't know how I could have missed them. I check map every time period, every day. I rarely had two silver events competing and it's always against Kara training which seems to stay available so I do the other one. And almost every period I go and talk to everyone even though they just say the same things.
So is there a way do go back and do them? How do I avoid missing them?

you really have to save each time, you go to sleep, or you could mess it up since there no way to go back, or roll back if you mess up, here is my list so far and I have just completed saving the world for the Queen. Plus as you can see, I am replaying my story since it been so long since I have played.
I save a lot, but not at bedtimes. And I check this quest list just about every in game day. Events go from not available to bypassed like how did I missed negotiation F when I talk to all the crew members at every period of day whether they have a star or not. Oh well.
Any insight on the love index? Like Tanya started very high then tanked steadily over the period when she was the only one I was inviting to bed every night. Now I can pretty much ignore her and it stays above an 8. Can't figure the rhyme or reason.

NOT sure, as for inviting to bed, I mix it up, I never invite the same one to bed 2 times, so I go through them all at least one time for the whole week, and when I have gone through them all, then the rest of the time, I go to bed alone. As for me, I keeping them around 8 to 9, but that is about how I am doing it for me.
Same, basically. I never go to bed alone. I do all the day time blue stars.
It's the idiosyncratic nature of it I am trying to understand. It seems like they all go down if not maintained, but some go down fast and some barely move. For one person they will go down faster than can be maintained for one portion of the game (like in the beginning when I hit Tanya every time in shower and every night because she is the only option and she still goes down) and then barely move in another portion of the game (like later on with Tanya after I have 4 bed options and invite whichever one is lowest but have to go through 20ish cycles before Tanya is lowest because hers never drops.)
And some seem plot-locked and you can't really work on until a certain point. Like with Tiffany, Alice and Rachael early on. They will float between 3 and 5 and go up and down by little amounts regardless of the interaction you have with them, like no interaction for a day and they go up a little and then checking in with them and it goes down a little. Or vice versa from the exact same interactions. No rhyme or reason that I can tell.
This kind of thing is rampant. Is there a specific Japanese Hentai term or something like that for this?
Where the MC is playing harem all the way through and the endings are all regressions to lower and lesser states than what the game play was, which is not only not Harem but usually an f-ing bummer besides. Like if Fast and Furious had them settling down to be valets.

It's so pervasive it must be a fetish with a name. Maybe something that translates like "Harem, No Harem".
How do devs not realize this will make for a massive disappointment and downer of a conclusion to the game? Every. Single. Time.
"Support us." "Join our Patreon" "Buy us a coffee." Just so they can completely fuck over the MC, every character, and almost every plot point.
No it didn't. And in reality, outside literally owning women and cults, harems don't exist, period. But here we are pretending they are ok and healthy and going to draw the "reality" line over their longevity? WTF?
The non-harem ending is the thing that feels absolutely contrived and forced.
I mean props for taking the harem tag out. If it likewise has a non-harem ending because that is dev's choice fine. Just say that. But don't pretend it had to be that way for "story reasons."
How. Just how? Three of the girls just start saying they want him all to themselves out of nowhere close to the end? Is that it? Is that your story universe reason? Ignoring the fact that the rest of them never say such drivel and many of those also have independent connections between each other and all totally happy and satisfied. Or is the dogshit reasons MC gave for mustering everyone out? Or is them going on to bigger and better things somehow supposed be mutually exclusive with them all coming home together?
There is so much hotness and relationship building in this game (even with leaving a lot of potential on the cutting room floor) only to have what they did develop they just pissed away.
I know if this is seen I am going to get reductively cast as someone who is just upset because they wanted more sex but knowing I had tapped out all the novel sex scenes I stilled played through hours and hours of game just because the story was so good. All the while seeing all the hater comments on here and fully anticipating I could leave a good review when I had finished playing the game. But no, no I can't because of that ending.
Putting the no harem ending aside entirely I would have taken no ending over this. Save everything. Win the day. Fade to black. Complete ambiguity would have been a better ending for characters.
Except Sam. Sam got a good ending, consistent enough what had been developed during the game. Good for you Sam.

Yes there is a complaint about no harem ending which is a standard and legitimate complaint for harem games that go to nuclear family picket fence endings. But Harem ≠ "more sex and sex regardless."
If anything, that everything throughout these comments and in the reviews indicates the opposite. That the sex that happens in the beginning is forced and meaningless, unearned, contrived and makes no sense. That the story and adventure is mostly great, mostly what people are here for but is ruined by specific idiosyncratic, internally inconsistent choices that render relationships and choices therein bizarre.
Yeah. You basically inverted the 80/20 rule. If the improvements are not noticeable they are not what most needed improved. And some of the sound effects made me mute the volume. The sound effects during the infurating bike race are th stuff of torture.

Nope. Most everyone who played this came here because the liked the original, which is no different in terms of being an "adult adventure game", but thought it missed some opportunities and bought your claim that this was going to be a material improvement on something they already liked.
Go actually read the reviews and understand them for what they are actually saying. They are overwhelmingly focused on the story not making sense and frustration with the BS mini games.
I feel you. I have definitely wanted things out of books and movies that it turns out aren't widely shared or appreciated. You clearly had the idea that your visions for what would make it better were widely shared. Put in a lot of effort. Tried, perhaps legitimately, to listen to feedback, but were unwilling to kill your darlings or focus on and aspects that would clearly be more widely acknowledged as improvements.
Props to you for making the effort. It's more than most would ever do. You made it for you instead of according to vocal feed back. Lots of games would benefit from such steadfastness by their devs.
But don't get all butt hurt and disingenuously assert all the criticism is something entirely different than what it is just because you find out you are relatively alone in your vision.
I kept playing through the game, reading all the critical comments and your responses fully expecting to be able back you up and throw some bucks at you when I completed the game. You are passionate in your defense and it is hard to believe someone would go to all this effort just to troll players so I have to accept you really believe the things you are saying about you critics.
But it can only be because you are not trully listening to what they are saying and standing in a strawman in their place.
