"Delay was caused by complete rebuilding of the game" - WHAT? He did do a complete remake of the game in version .8, which crippled the game to begin with and basically any update after that was just fixing the shit that this caused, with very little in terms of actual additions.
If he actually means he had to build the game from scratch again, then I really am at a loss for words here...
At this point my inner voice is telling me I'm being conned, actually glad I stopped supporting.

The game looked promising in the beginning, i even had some e-mail communication with the dev but now...just let the game die.

Not sure why he needs to "remake" the game from scratch every couple of months at least make up a better excuse when you delay your updates.
Seriously just say you had a busy month in your day job or some other bullshit. Its more believable than "I literally had to rebuild the entire game and art again this month for unspecified reasons you wouldn't understand."

I know I'm probably asking the impossible here, but are there any other big crossover games like this which are a little more complete? This and Something Unlimited both seemed to show promise yet seem to be plagued by similar issues in terms of devs just not having a great grip on things.
Just a heads up according to the comments there are a ton of bugs in this build and less content.

I agree, this games been played out in every way. I think he should just leave it and work on his new game, which actually looks promising. However if he makes an American Dad game and still butchers the English language like hes done in the past, I might have a heart attack.

Is it only me or the unity game interferes with my mic with obs? Everytime I record my audio/game footage theres this whining or razor like sound in the background that doesnt happen with the renpy version. I was planning to make a gameplay for this game, but this issue wasted almost 2 hrs trying to check what the heck could be the problem. Just when the game is running my mic is picking up this coil whine like sound. Tho my gpu can run this without problem and i dont hear any coil whine from it.
