hey Milton749 I was thinking about this game earlier and just never asked. I recall there was a scene in the version before the rework with a EX girlfriend in the park did we ever get more scenes with her by chance. I forget if she sucks but you know me I love my childhood friends and EX's even if they suck at least for one playthrough

Yeah, you have the scene in the park and if you don't delete her from your phone there is at least 2 more scenes I can think of you can have if you choose to. From memory, I enjoyed those scenes. This is all on the original game anyway. I'm assuming the rework would be the same, but may not be.

cool thanks yeah I recall wanting more scenes with her but never got any at least from where I stopped playing and decided to wait for updates since the dev seem to have good dev speed and saw it was almost completed. So was just thinking what I can look forward to when the rework is done not sure if I will go back and finish the OG version or not

Yes, he's an idiot, but it's the central plot of the game. If he just deleted the message without taking part, the game would end there
.It made more sense in the original story v0.8.
I suggest to play v0.8 since it is the completed story before rework.
v0.9 covers only the first half of the story and dev did some changes but did not adjust the rest of the story to fit to those changes, like the part with the money or the no longer present incest.

In the remake, the MC is invited by his father's new wife to her house (to stay for two months over the summer), where she lives with her two daughters from a previous relationship, so there is no blood connection.
Are there many changes in the quality of the renders? It's the only thing I can think of to do a remake

The renders should be mostly the same.
Dev added some renders for the freeroams in v0.9.
Besides a few peeking scenes I don't remember significant additional or deleted scenes except for the start. I just played one path in v0.9 and then switched to v0.8 for the whole story, so I might have missed or forgotten additional content in v0.9.

That's a bit strange to take the needing money part out? It was the whole reason he started playing in the first place (in the original).

starting to sound like I should just replay the old version and finish it before the rework is finished now. haha like I already didn't like the changes to the incest since it was part of the story now doing it without a reason makes kind of worst. I'll probably still play the rework but man that's an odd change
There actually are deleted scenes, the biggest ones are in Chapter 3-4 when you get the challenge that you have to have sex with someone and the choice of the various girls - choosing either "Lara" or "Becky" now no longer actually does anything you are still locked on the "Diane" path with her coming to the door and taking you to dinner which leads to Cassandra. Becky no longer comes to your room and sees you with those headphones. (I'm assuming this will be re-added somewhere later in the game?) All the scenes of meeting the two girls at bar and the scenes where you first meet Jasmine (first time you meet her is now on the street after the photo incident) and Becky's future stalker are gone, as are all the scenes at the club with the two girls including trying to seduce Lara to have sex with her and her catching you in the bathroom with Cass and then giving you a BJ are all gone. Instead they come up to you when you are dancing with Cass for 2 seconds and Cass runs into them after the picture is taken and that's it....
On a different note there are a whole bunch of things in the script that are remnants of the previous script and plot inconsistencies/issues that need fixed
- Still mentions of "Frank" in the game if you skip the 2nd challenge. (In the original it was Frank's car you were driving and crashed)
- Diane calls you by name in the hospital using the [name] variable before you get a chance to set it..as a result she calls you MC which is dumb. What's the point of waiting until after the intro to name the MC?
- While the original challenge text message no longer mentions the family's debt, later on the MC mentions his motivation of helping Diane and the girls getting out from under all their debt before Nicole tells him about it. He is shocked by the revelation in that scene that Diane has debt...
- Diane invites you to a fancy dinner tomorrow, which then becomes a fancy dinner tonight by the end of the conversation?
- MC thanks Nicole for recommending he use the Gym... She did not, instead she only suggested he go jogging with her.
- Nicole sees the MC....KICKING the hanging bag and thinks "I didn't know he boxed"
- MC mentions to Nicole that he promised to practice "jitsu" with her when all he promised is to exercise with her and does not know that this is what she wants to do. (In the actual gym scene he even assumes she wanted to do cardio with him, having no idea she is interested in any type of martial arts practice). Also does anyone actually just call it "jitsu"?)
- There are lots of little spelling, grammar, and more poorly constructed Engrish sentences than I recall being in the previous version of the game... But some of the stuff is just stupid. Like the choice to "Peak" on Nicole in the bathroom. I mean I could maybe get a foreigner confusing homophones...but when you use the words peek and peeking how many times correctly in the script, it's just sloppy to use the wrong word here and not catch it in playtesting.
- Could the dev seriously not come up with a better way to disqualify sex with Christine as counting towards the challenge. It's extremely dumb that it doesn't count because she's not a stranger when there was no mention of that before on the actual challenge text. There's also no explanation for the punishment for Cassandra not being in the spirit of the game... Before it made sense when they were clearly trying to get him to fuck his family, but if the challenge was always actually a stranger...then yeah how was Cassandra not in the spirit if he didn't know her before that day?

I haven't been rushing to play the rework. It seems like some pretty crucial and/or good stuff has been left out. I think I'll probably wait till it's finished and see if it gets added in.
For the VN : Download v0.8. It is in the OP.
The freeroams in v0.9 are mostly empty. Just check the hints where to go next, go there and the VN continues automatically.
