Im still waiting for this great game for a great update
Yeah, get in line.Im still waiting for this great game for a great update![]()
New update release date?
None. It's done when it's done. Try September.New update release date?
This is only part joke, since Iondivvy has forgotten which game put him on the map, CD is in limbo. The Dev sometimes tunes in and tells us some tall tales how soon a new update will come. But he turned out to be as trustworthy as e.g. "L&P", "gumdrop" or "The Typist", you can trust him as far as you can throw a 40 tons truck.
Would not bet on it! Or do you believe his lipservice, once in a while posts?
Come on now, everybody knows that by that time, the game should be completed.![]()
You can subscribe to his patreon and ask there.Would not bet on it! Or do you believe his lipservice, once in a while posts?
As if! His post about hostile comments says enough. The same spiel other companies use to silence critical voices. It is not chance that Iondivvy considers all posts with just even a bit critial stuff in it to be "hostile". How very surprising -not!You can subscribe to his patreon and ask there.![]()
Maybe you'll get an answer.

Like many others he prefers personal cocksuckers for his patreon, who only sing praises. That is very clear by his posts. Nearly a year ago he promised us that Rebel Duet would have no negative effect on Casual Desire´s development.
Today he does not want to hear about that anymore, everyone reminding him is considered hostile.
I'm not saying the game is bad. I think neither are the other people. Quite the contrary! Otherwise we wouldn't be complaining about the lack of updates! There just seems to be a feeling that the dev's focus has shifted elsewhere at the expense of CD!There are a lot of purely negative comments with no constructive criticism.
Why do so many think the people on this site are big game creation companies? Most of then content creators here are only a few people (sometimes only one) who are making these games in their spare time while trying to balance a job, family/social life at the same time. As for how much then get from their Patron page, how many of you can live on $1200/month. No one I know.
Judging by the lack of updates in both threads here and his Patron sight, I wouldn't be surprised they have been chased away. I hope not, I really like both games. Yes, I like Casual Desires a little better (I really like slutty Rita) but bother are good and different.
ionDivvy, don't listen to the naysayers. You do good work with interesting stories. Thank you for letting me enjoy your creations.
Never said people said the game was bad. They are just expecting updates and many have spoken out as if they think it is a full time job for these people instead of a spare time hobby type of thing. I get frustrated constantly reading complaints about lack of updates which speak as if it is a full time job for the developer.I'm not saying the game is bad. I think neither are the other people. 1200€ on top of your income (salary, business, etc.) is a nice bonus! You produce what there is demand for. That's just business. If there are more paying customers that want more "rebel duet", you make more of that. If CD fell victim to a business decision, that would make me sad as a long time fan.![]()
OK. I too get annoyed reading about lack of updates in game threads. But the case here is a bit different. Dev's other game "rebel duet" does get updates where as "casual desires" gets hardly any. That is the problem. If he has more subscribers to his patreon account because of "rebel duet" than because of CD, then they obviously would want more updates for rd and he makes more. I understand that, but I'm not happy about it.Never said people said the game was bad. The curious thing is that this isn't the case. If you go to his Patreon and look through the updates you'll notice Casual Desires consistently gets more, sometimes double, the likes and usually more comment engagement as well.OK. So you're saying it's the other way around on his patreon and CD is more popular there? The curious thing is that this isn't the case. I feel forgiving given the steam release of the other game and the work that comes with that, but I cancelled my own sub and don't plan on restarting it until Casual Desires has its next release.
