Dude to be honest it's not hard to tell you're just baiting reactions. I too would engage, but your "takes" or opinions or whatever are so far removed from anything I find rational or understandable, it becomes hard to... No offense. I take it you don't like Tara or Jaye...anyone else? Is Mallory more up your alley? Do you like anything about this game?
Maybe he prefers cocks instead? No offence to anyone.
I mean, there are always peeps who post in game threads tagged as containing certain kinks, announcing that they personally are not into it.
There is no logic there to be found why they feel the need to post there or open those threads at all, it's just a fact of life.

Bruh, what :LUL: I respect heaping praise and farming thumbs but that's got exactly nothing to do with anything i said :LUL:
This topic has been going back and forth for a few days, mate. I'm not critcizing you or anything. But Jaye's reaction seeing what happened at her party and how Alex left her without saying a word is believable. A lot of people say Jaye is impulsive, fiery and at times unreasonably angry. They aren't wrong, the description fits her. But it's just how she is.

Can you imagine - Jaye is at her parents' funeral, the loss was unexpected and came out of nowhere like a lightning bolt from the clear sky. She is grieving - her parents, the people who helped her all her life are dead. The people that she respected are dead. The people who protected her are dead. Her family is shattered - her parents are gone and her step-brother, who she always saw as more and made her feel like nobody else before her is somewhere away and she feels guilty about it. But then she sees Alex again, for the first time after 6 years when she thought that he'd never return again and the feelings she felt were lost overwhelm her.

When she thought all was lost, there was Alex - she will hold onto him and they will wreak vengeace. Everyone that had a finger in shattering their family - Christian, Prizer and everyone else that stands in their way. At that point, Jaye may as well marked Alex as hers. The bonds of the past tie them even closer. With each past chapter, Jaye marks the MC as hers.

She is strong, she knows that every battle is hard won. One thing she never understands is why Alex never contacted her. Then Tara comes in with the help as the legendary wingman that she is. Alex reveals that he blocked himself on her phone. Oh, shit everything clicks into place.

BTW, I find Jaye very similar in terms of personality to Aela from the Companions in Skyrim.

Bit too soon the make that kind of statement imo. But one thing is for certain, the dialogue in this game is easily top 2 of all adult games I've played/seen. The banter is insanely funny and the more emotional lines also hit very well. Dialogue and facial expressions are an easy 10/10 for me. Story is very good but I could see it take a nosedive so I'll withold judgement for now.
Eh, it's how I think it is. It's really really hard to find a game with this level of writing honestly. I have this and BaDIK in my top 2 favorite games anyways.

Bro, did you quote the wrong post or something? I was pointing out that Jaye being uberly taken with the MC is much more of a constant than the opposite (at least in the present day), and also that Chapter 5 thinned way too much the divide between the low/high routes considering how much the MC can do to stomp on their relationships up to that point, and you coming at me with essays on Jaye and why she acts the way she does.

And what the hell's Aela from Skyrim got to do with anything :LUL::LUL::LUL:

Honestly, my heart has never been more broken. PreachyLocust from the porn forum won't engage me. Sobbing in the club.

I am however assigning most of the blame to the MC because he was the one who ran. Jaye was ready to talk and sort out their issues while the MC was scared of the consequences of laying everything out in the open. You can disagree but I don't think running away or ignoring your problems will ever make your situation better.
MC had no way of knowing that Jaye was ready to talk over things. Her behavior that night was consistent with what he'd come to expect from her.

Because he ghosted her for five years.

I don't think he should've expected anything from her. People change over time and five years is long enough that it can be like getting to know them for the very first time again. That's not just the case for Jaye, but for all the people he abandoned. Especially for his parents, which are dead now.
Jaye is now the last representative of the family the PC abandoned. She had to experience how their parents were missing him and how he, allegedly ice cold, didn't even think about asking how they're doing at least sometimes. It's on him to answer to her for that and make amends. And he shouldn't expect it to be easy.

At the time he ran she'd been giving him the cold shoulder for years. Years in which her treatment of her alternated between cold indifference and hot rage. The night he ran, her behavior was consistent with that and he had no expectation it would change. We know from her POV she wanted to do it, but from his perspective it was more of the same.

You are correct, and that other person is blatantly wrong. We even saw Jaye think that Tara was lying about her motivations during the scene where Jaye read from her brother's stolen journal.

Sounds fun. Let's imagine a scene where Jaye is having a disagreement with her brother, and he loses his temper and begins to punch her as hard as he can. How do you suppose all of the Jaye fans would react to that? Do you think they would be able to ignore that just as they did with Jaye when she did it to him?
Brother, what on earth have you been smoking

Lostanddamned bro do you need help with these people?
You shouldn't have bothered replying to them. They just simply didn't read the game.
They're finding who's to blame between Alex and Jaye when they're both equally at fault.

Alex, the MC, stopped going with Jaye to school anymore. Because he thought Jaye wouldn't be able to make friends at school.
That started a butterfly effect that harms their relationship.
Jaye got salty because she thought Alex doesn't like to be close with her anymore.
Their relationship grew apart since then.
It all started in a misunderstanding.

The way they handled things maybe bad, but that's okay. They written the characters this way. So that they have flaws. Their initial reaction to each other's ghosting is realistic. They were kids then.
Also especially that they love or have an affection for each other.
Things always are complicated when there's love involved.

Another argument about how childish Jaye was on their 2nd meeting. She was at first, yes. Sure.
It's believable because she was mad at him because from her perspective she didn't do anything wrong yet somehow Alex grew distant from her.
But, when Jaye took the initiative to talk with Alex in the morning, showed her maturity and problem-solving skills and how determined she is to repair their relationship.

There were arguments from others that I don't even want to talk about.
Their limited understanding are built upon the foundation of not properly reading the game.
So, please read the game. Or don't talk if you don't know.
Especially when you're one of those who presses ctrl or tab to skip their way through to the lewd scenes.

Eh, I figured out that it’s pointless replying to these guys, let alone debating them.

Even if you present legit arguments, the guy won’t understand it because he skipped the entire text to get to the scenes so he didn’t read anything.

Besides, obligatory post: Jaye is the best girl.:Kappa:

I find it ridiculous that people consider Jaye's actions unforgivable and throw such a fuss about it. And it's mostly from people who are Jaye haters, that use the reaction as an excuse as to why MC shouldn't pursue a relationship with her.

Jaye is impulsive and fiery, it's been outright defined in the prologue and it's fine if some people don't like that, but to go as far as to say that she deserved to drown when she fell off the boat is retarded.

The whole issue between Jaye and Alex is due to lack of communication and a big misunderstanding anyway. Alex didn't hear and didn't see Jaye's reaction to that girl that said that she should stop hanging out with him, Alex thought that Christian was trying to rape Jaye in her room, Jaye didn't tell Alex what actually happened, so his protective instincts kicked in and he was going to fight Christian one way or another (which ruined Jaye's graduation party anyway), then he outright decided to stop contacting her because he knew he was in love with her and wouldn't be able to stay away from her.

Trying to justify who's fault it is at that point is pointless, because both are at fault at how they handled their feelings.

Anyway, next chapter is probably going to be about Jaye so hopefully we will get more clearance about things.

That is pretty usual for the Zone. Best example is a woman with sexual experience is often called a whore who is whoring around in the VN's while the MC who is trying to lay down every woman that is not by three on a tree is a pretty decent guy.

Which is why we should accept that every girl in the game was a virgin at the point where they meet the MC. Even Sarah Campbell (Alex's mom) was a virgin, even though she gave birth to him which is why she is known by the name of Mary at times. :Kappa:

Pretty much what many of these that are complaining pretend from every games, not only this..
Also all the girls are "whores" if their not MC's property and must be dick virgins ( if not they are whores once again), those who are older and already in a relationship with another men or, god forbid, married in that case they need to be sexually deprived until they met the MC, otherwise it will be preventive NTR ( and they would be whores nonetheless, of course)...
You will never win arguing with these peoples, fanatics are rarely reasonable, sadly. :)

Mate I've been on the BaDIK thread for like 3 years, so it's something that I've been dealing with for a long long time.

Also, if a girl has a boyfriend already, she has to like the MC more than her boyfriend and her boyfriend has to end up revealed as gay who never had sex with her, otherwise the girl is labeled a whore because how dare she sleep with someone else other than the MC even though she just met him. :ROFLMAO: :Kappa:

Jaye never was Christian's girlfriend though. It's not something that was outright said in the game and it certainly isn't like Chad and Sage.

The difference is Christian isn't a main character - he was merely a tool that was used to drive a wedge between MC and Jaye and cause the separation.
