I mean tara had feelings for MC and tells MC's sister that she is thinking ask him out but she never does because she knows MC's sister has feelings for him too wich insted of showing those feelings she pushes him away all the time, while they both have feelings for MC they end up fucking each other
I also had a facepalm about this situation.
if in the next update Dev give us a choice to push Jaye away my MC gonna push her into the fucking pit
Hope so.

amazing game! few games win a place in my heart and this game is one of them! although the story is a bit dramatic / sad maybe? I like games with those themes too much, the only thing i didn't like it was that jaye cockblocked the mc and then she fucked tara wtf xD, but afterall i really liked this game. this game has already earned a spot on my favorites list!

Amazing job dev!

Sorry for my English.

I think this can be fixed, just removed the scene where Jaye and Tara get together and replace it with a small flashback scene later in the game where Jaye finds out that Tara help MC to leave. (since she had a crush on him)

Causing drama when MC comes back between Jaye and Tara.

This would allow MC to hook up with other women during the game at the same time allowing Jaye and Tara to both chase MC.

Making them both jealous of the other women and then work together to get MC back.

Other Plot twists ideas for MC
  • He forced to work with Jaye at his dad's company.
  • Fiona (super rich) leaves her husband goes looking for the MC and arranges to do business with MC Company just to be close to him. This shocks Jaye that MC knows her and Jaye becomes super jealous

This way the game could work towards the ending being that the MC hooks up with both Jaye and Tara and becomes one big happy family.

This discussion about Jaye cockblocking MC (and then fucking Tara) feels like people are missing a lot of points. I understand this is a porn game and people's expectation is probably a lot lower in general, but time to time, there are porn games with good writing that dives deeper than normal.

1. Not dating your friend's sibling is common because of your friendship with each other. You know the whole "bros before hos" thing. Dating your friend's sibling jeopardizes that, especially when you're teenagers. It's even worse if you suspect them to have a thing for each other like how Jaye already been teased with. So it isn't necessarily just Jaye cockblocking her friends from dating MC.
2. Jaye couldn't fully cockblock MC because MC definitely had other female friends who aren't Jaye's friends.
3. Most importantly, MC was in love with Jaye and had no reason to date anyone else. Cannot be cockblocked if your cock is only for Jaye to begin with.
4. MC decided to leave because he was in love with Jaye since they were kids, and he had to try to distract himself with other things (which might include casual sexual shenanigans with girls from all over the world during his travel) because it's not easy to openly say you're in love with your step sibling and to act on it.
5. The same thing happened to Jaye, but her way to distract herself is Tara (successful sex act because Tara is presumably bisexual, and that they are friends with each other, but MC remained in Jaye's fantasy because he's who she truly loves) and Christian (failed distraction as male love interest replacement because he's an asshole).

The writing revolves around the taboo of (step)sibling relationship and how young people dealt with it (understandably, in an imperfect way). MC dealt with it by trying to stay away from Jaye in hope that she would find someone good that he approves of. This would then force MC to move on. MC basically hopes that Jaye would solve his problem for him. On the other hand, Jaye dealt with it by constantly trying to push MC away and trying to find distraction from somewhere else. She is hoping that there would be someone else who is not MC that would be make her move on from MC.

Neither of them were willing to admit yet that they are each other's answers to solve their problem.

You explained logically and kinda have a points about topic.

But real problem here MC and Jaye doesn't see each other like 6 or 7 year in game so we don't know about Jaye's love life ..

Is she married or have a girlfriend or maybe a boyfriend game don't show that to players and it's making us nervous because we know she is main LI and if she got girlfriend or boyfriend it's mean we are 3 wheel to their relationship and we don't want to see that kind of surprise.

She got Boyfriend and girlfriend just because trying to forget MC and that shows to us she can make some stupid ideas about love topic.

Just think you go home and see Jaye live with Christian after everything... such frustration

That was really well polished.

I'm not sure how I feel about the revelation at the cliffhanger. On one hand, it was great to see the parents story play out, but that's a lot of time dedicated for a (ahem) dead end. MC spends five years abroad with no real interactions with them that you can even flash back to. Makes for a richer story, but I don't see how those don't end up empty calories.

Also not entirely comfortable with Mr Clean talking about guarding my anal virginity. Especially after MC said he wasn't that fast.

But, a great initial offering that does loads of little things right. I hope it does extremely well.

And here's to the devs not needing seven months for some retarded catgirl island insanity.

1) It is indeed (speaking from experience with the friend of a sibling thing, not the sibling's having a thing thing ;)). In the prologue we never see, hear, or read about the MC fucking/dating/kissing another girl (friend of his step-sister or not) in High School.
Because MC is in love with Jaye. Why would MC fuck/date/kiss another girl in high school?

2) Having female friends isn't the same as sexing up someone. We got a lesbian sex scene of Tara and Jaye and nothing else. Not even a hint of dialogue anywhere about him dating someone.
Again, because MC is in love with Jaye. Why would MC date someone else?

He was a teenager and he definitely had a hormonal need to date someone else and deal with that need. He can love someone and still date other people, Jaye did. Yet the entire prologue is focused on Jaye's sex life not the MC's (until he fucks the married "hall pass" lady at the end). Nothing is there to tell us if he has fucked before then (though it can be assumed).
Replying to the bold part, this is exactly the part where I said how MC and Jaye dealt with the same problem but in different ways. Jaye's way is to distract herself with someone else. MC's way is to hope that Jaye moved on and therefore lock MC out of the relationship and then force MC to look elsewhere.

4) And I hope that we can choose to keep them apart, if this game is just going to be about the two of them getting together (or the MC getting together with Tara) then it becomes less of a game and more of a story with minor deviations. And that is fine if that is what they want to do, it is their story, I would just be disappointed.
Nothing to comment on this part since it's just your personal preference and you're fully entitled to it.

5) And, as I pointed out before, we see that sex act (even though logically there is no way for us to see it) yet nothing of the MC's sex life. Was he preserving his virginity for Jaye until the graduation party and then left to fuck girls in Aspen?
Serious question, why is it seemingly so hard for you to imagine that maybe MC just doesn't want to fuck someone he doesn't love? It feels like you're so hung up on the idea that MC must fuck someone in his high school life or otherwise it doesn't make sense. It's really weird.

Seeing the only two love interests in the game (so far) hook up, and the MC somehow knowing about it, makes both of the LI less appealing to me.
Fair enough, you're entitled to having preference.

It would have been nice to see him plow a cheerleader after a game or some other meaningless sex while thinking about Jaye (as we paradoxically did with Jaye and Tara).
What you wanted to happen actually happened, it's just that it's after he left. Once again, I don't understand the lack of understanding as to why MC chose not to fuck anyone while he was in high school and why it's such a big deal for you. The point is that he was hoping for the answer to be given to him before he made a decision. After he punched Christian, Jaye got pissed off at him to the point that he took it as an answer that she didn't need/want him. So he left. And then he started the journey of distraction and meaningless sex to take his mind away from her.

However, there are more ways to "stay away" from Jaye (like fucking other people or just dating other people but never fucking them).
So basically you wanted MC to be like Jaye because Jaye fucked Tara and dated Christian. IMO, it's boring if both characters in the conflict behaved the same way. I enjoy the contrast between the two characters dealing with the same problem in different ways. But that's just my personal opinion.

No offense intended, but it really feels like you're self-inserting yourself to MC too much that your comments sound more like "I would've done this and that instead" rather than accepting that the MC has his own characteristics that is most likely different than yours. You aren't playing as yourself to create your own story in this game. You are playing a character where you can have some control of the decisions that might affect the story.

First off, thank you all for playing our VN. It's rewarding to us devs to see these discussions already beginning. Keep in mind, there's a certain starting state of the game that has to be the same before the paths branch. The player will appear to have less agency up to that point. Without giving away any spoilers, the player will not be forced to finish the game with any particular girl. Enjoy!

Main character seems so pitiful. Its like he had nothing in his life apart from pining for his sister while she dated and hooked up with other people. Oof. I get that it works as his background and all but is it really necessary for him to imagine his sister when he is about to have sex with another woman 7 years(!) after that? Can we get this poor sod to move on already? Its been 7 years and he is still not over her. That just makes him feel pitiful.

In turn, I don't understand why my disagreeing with the plot point of the MC "saving himself" for his step-sister is such a big deal to you? I don't like it, not in an "OMG, this game is terrible" type of way. Just don't care for it.
You need to look back again at what I posted. My original post was about disagreeing with the comments that Jaye cockblocked MC. You were the one who repeatedly brought up that MC should've had sex/dated other girls instead. My point is simply that cockblocking didn't happen because MC wasn't pursuing other girls. It's not cockblocking if you don't have sex with a girl you don't want to have sex to begin with.

Yeah, we'll obviously have to agree to disagree about it. I am not saying I wanted him to go fuck like a rabbit but right now the MC doesn't have much of a personality and spends his time focused on Jaye's sex life and not his own. Giving the MC other characters to interact with would have allowed us to see more about him. Look at the character list: Mom, stepdad, stepsis, Tara, Christian, bartender, David. How many other named characters are there in the prologue? We see more about mom and stepdad and their personalities than we do about the MC (except for his love of call of shooty). It would have been nice to see the MC dating or doing something else besides focusing on Jaye. But that's just my personal opinion, I want more story about the MC and less about her.
The answer to this is simple, what you've played so far is merely a background introduction to the main story. The intro is basically to give character depth on the parents, and the context for MC+Jaye's relationship.

Specifically replying to the bolded part, you need to understand that the context of the intro so far is Walter asking what happened between MC and Jaye. Therefore, the MC's storytelling revolves heavily on Jaye. It's not Walter asking "what happened to you?", but it's Walter asking "What is it with you two anyway? Why can't you two get along?". So answering with how MC is dating someone else or showing him fucking random cheerleader doesn't really fit the narrative and character personality.

Look, I want to know more about his decisions and why he made them. I want to know more of the characters thoughts and feelings (motivations) as he makes his choices. Simply, we aren't told that he saved himself for her. We also aren't told if he shagged a lot of women. I wanted more information about the MC in high school and not Jaye. The MC is obsessed with her but we aren't shown a reason why he would be in love with her. Their entire relationship was about an intense rivalry and near hate from the time they were ~10. Is this essentially unrequited puppy love?
What's interesting with this comment is that in one part you wanted to be told something, but in another part, you're happy to make your own assumptions. For example, using the bolded part:

1. "We aren't told that MC saved himself for her." That means he might or might not. But you're happy to jump into conclusion that he isn't by wanting meaningless sex scene with random cheerleader as well as concluding that Jaye cockblocked the MC because you aren't even considering the possibility that MC didn't want to have sex with anyone else other than Jaye. This is despite having zero hint on one or the other.

2. "We aren't shown a reason why MC would be in love with Jaye." The game gave a lot of hints. She cared a lot about him. Always give birthday presents regardless whether they were fighting or not. Always come to the game and not miss a single game. Took care of his fish when he's out of town without having to ask her. Why does MC love Jaye? Maybe the answer is as simple as because she's nice. I don't know if you have a wife or girlfriend or not, but if your friend already knew what the two of you are like, do they still need to ask you why you love her? In this one, we aren't told the answer, but you aren't willing to make assumption despite being given a lot of hints.

I roleplay or try to make decisions as if I was the character it helps make the games more meaningful.
Sure you can say that now, but your previous comments leaned heavily more towards you self-inserting yourself into MC. This is why you made comments like how you lost interest in Jaye and Tara when you found out that they've had sex. You weren't roleplaying as the MC who is in love with Jaye. You wanted you as MC, so that the MC would avoid Jaye and Tara. Similarly with wanting meaningless sex scene with cheerleader. That's just 100% you being you.

I think it's completely possible that we didn't see MC with anybody else, because it might not be relevant to the prologue itself.

Damn you wrote a lot and I do agree with you, and yes exactly this.

The only sex scenes we see are those that are somehow relevant to the story presented here (that is still quite limited). MC and Jaye both could have some casual relationships on the side, but those may not have changed our characters so we didn't see that. This is not a full backstory, it's just a shortened story about how our MC got to this point, just a point in his life that made him change the direction he was headed.

I dont really agree. We have scenes of dates between Sarah and James and their sex scene. Since they both died such details of their relationship are totally irrelevant. Mom and stepdad only were needed to bring MC and Jaye together, what they did between each other has no bearing on the story at all. How it can be more relevant to the story than main characters life?

Seems like Jaye cock blocked the MC through high school and wouldn’t allow her friend to date the MC - it is never said that he even had a girlfriend.
She didn't, she loves the MC since childhood as the MC loves her. Tara asked Jaye and Jaye didn't cockblocked her, It was Tara the one who decided against it because she knows Jaya loves the MC and she doesn't want to hurt her best friend.
