Ya, it's clearly not involved with the way the story's written since the parents meet and have separate kids, I think what was being offered up is whether the devs may have liked to write a tru bro / sis story but maybe couldn't because of all the rules around that kind of thing with the funding websites. Have the devs ever made any statements on that one way or the other?

I never really got that impression here, but it seemed really obvious in other games though, where the devs just said 'yeah definitely not related, what are you on about' where patreon was concerned.

I've pointedly asked some devs about incest in certain games and haven't really gotten a straight answer with regard to things like "incest patches", etc. But ya, with this game, you could be right that it may have been their intention all along to have it just as it is with the adopted sibling angle, but given that they are on Patreon & Steam, I think it's fair to wonder if it would have been actual bro / sis if they had had that option. Great game, either way.

In this game I'm far more attracted to Mal than Jaye. Jaye has a more smoking body I think but I love Mal's personality, nicer boobs, but also Jayes eyebrows bug me (too dark) and mostly cuz I think she looks like Miley Cyrus. The scene(s) when her hair in wrapped in a towel and all you see is her face - the resemblance is much more pronounced.

Why is there an option/path to work against Jaye?
I dont really want spoilers beyond Chpt 3 cuz that's as far as ive gotten. But it seems to me that this is just a is all predicated on us inheriting this thing together. Is the option there in case I want to have ALL of business and totally edge her out? It seems even if I'm more into Mal (which I am) and chasing those options instead, there doesnt seem to a be a reason to be a contrarian towards Jaye - she and Mal get along, and we're clearly all able to act civilized.
So im just puzzled why I would want to actively work against Jaye instead of pursuing a mutual goal.
It seems we are both working towards the same goal - to protect our parents' legacy and shutting down this conspiracy from the other company. I can't see a reason to misalign with her. So what am I missing?

Haha! Facts. I tested that water on a "save and proceed" but then went back and kept the Erica option.
I'm not completely invested in either - but i'm kinda glad I did it this way - especially with the continued flirty texts i'm getting from Erica.
Mainly, I didn't want to be a wedge in Linda's marriage to a guy that obviously respected me. Felt wrong. But I won't deny she was a MILF.
(FWIW - same reason I didn't bang Nora on College Kings until after she dumped Chris - even if Chris is a complete asshole compared to Linda's husband - name escapes me).

For me - as a MC, if I choose a route to cheat on a significant other - thats something I'll deal with - but I usually dont want to destroy another's relationship to promote their cheating.

I'm a fan of roleplaying games (dice and video) so when I do these choose your own adventure AVNs, I try to embrace the role of the character MC as intended as much as possible.

Everything shows me he truly loved and supported Jaye and vice-versus and had loving supportive parents.

NOW - Tara on the other hand. I dont think I could ever resist her if that door ever cracked open. She is sexier than both mal and jaye - i think it's her confidence. But christ she's the succubus one would always fantasize about.

I love Jaye too much to do anything other than help her in every instance, but I have to say that I understand why the other path is there. Anybody has to admit that the MCs relationship with Jaye has been bad for a very long time. They have been acting like a divorced couple since they were 15. There are two ways that you can go when a relationship has grown so sour. You can do the work to make amends or take the easy way out and stay the course, looking out for your own heart. The MC in the path where he is trying to run the company probably doesn't trust Jaye enough to run it well herself, so he is telling himself that he is pursuing what is best for her by way of enlightened self-interest. This is a depressingly common point of view. Now is the MC being moral or ethical in trying to look out for his own interests and wrest control of the company from her? Probably not. Definitely a shitty thing to do but it might be the right thing for him. In the business world, it doesn't matter if you do what is right if at the end of the day you lose control of your financial interests. It isn't a matter of right or wrong it is a matter of "who's the boss?"

I still wouldn't piss on the MC if he was on fire if he lets Jaye drown, though.
