Even sharing a small tent like this, it would be stupid of the MC to not at least try to make something happen IMO. He starts kissing and touching both of them, do a little three way kiss, pull back and see if they kiss each other etc. Take it from there. Let it happen naturally but give things a helping hand.

Then I tried "both" thinking someone might have asked how to end up with both Jaye and Mal, but that brought up nothing too so I just said "fuck it, I'll just ask". Technically, a polyamorous relationship is any where at least one person in the group has a romantic relationship with more than one person with the consent of everyone involved. So the vee that Jaye purposes (Jaye and Mal with MC but not with each other) and a triad (aka throuple, where Jaye and Mal also have a relationship) are both polyamory, just different forms of it.

Personally I can't stand it when devs do that. Especially if it's a conscious decision. I had to quit Motherless in disgust because not only was there no lesbian activity in the harem but it kept getting teased over and over again with never any follow through. I mean if you just don't want to have it, then fine, but why continuously blue-ball the people who do want it?

Deliverance also disappointed me because the Hero path had no option to end up with both of the main LIs. But the reason that was so disappointing was because not only did they have a threesome mid-game, but the possibility of the three of them becoming a regular thing was even teased in dialogue. Why do that if you aren't going to follow through? Maybe it's just me but it feels like a dev is trolling when they do shit like that.

So Jaye lezzed out with Tara on the regular in the past, Mal is down for Bi-action with the MC and Amanda, but even though they both share the same man, are close, and are each ridiculously hot, they just aren't into each other like that... "because"?

Honestly, I'd be a little surprised if there isn't something involving all three of them in Chapter 10. As people have said, it wouldn't be the first time Jaye or Mal have done something with another woman and we know Jaye has a bit of a cuckquean kink. So even if they don't sexually interact, I could easily see a threesome where Jaye enjoys watching... and then maybe can't help but get a little more involved.

Maybe Jaye and Mal don't form a full on relationship with each other or do stuff without MC, but I think Jaye will open up to the idea of doing sexy stuff together more as time goes on and she gets more comfortable in a poly relationship in general and with Mal specifically. Jaye's initial comments about MC "not being that lucky" came at a time when she already was stepping out of her comfort zone by proposing poly. I suspect doing that and considering a situation where she'd do stuff with Mal was a step too far for all at once, but perhaps not after some time has passed.

Just adding to what others said, I believe several players reported that with the Mod installed it's not possible to achieve the Jaye&Mal throuple. I haven't achieved it either, although I have to admit that I haven't started a playthrough from scratch but from earlier saves and followed all the steps. So, in my case, maybe the modification of love points before those saves impacted the outcome. Still, I don't think I have read from anyone using the mod that he/she managed to end up in the Jaye/Mal throuple.
Once the epilogue comes out, I'll probably play it from the beginning (skipping as much as possible) using the steps that Justaphase and others have indicated - without the mod.

That's most likely the case, but I have seen one instance before where a mod broke the script a bit. It was quickly fixed, but it can happen.

Yeah, when I used mods previously, it was always Sancho that I'd go for. I really dislike how most modders seem to go with "good choice" or "bad choice", it's much better if they tell you the repercussions and let you make up your own mind. Now, I only use URM and the universal choice descriptor to make that info quick and easy to see. They can't tell you what path a choice helps towards or whether it leads to a sex scene etc., unless that info is in the code for the choice, but it's much better and doesn't alter the script, so those issues mods can sometimes cause are avoided.
