How long have you been around these forums? Many guys hate for an LI to have any kind of sexual history before the MC, least of all to be able to see it. I've even some complain that the Mom character in an incest VN isn't a virgin.

Bad endings exist too, you know. It's just that Lisa doesn't have a good one.

Weird how from that list only Lisa got "the bad ending". The devs might as well have added all the other side girls to that list 'cause their "paths" end the same way as Lisa's. Either that or not add Lisa to that list and leave only the single path alongside the real endings.

I already understood that . About the content with moms, yes, that's really very strange. Personally, I don't care if LI isn't a virgin, but if the game has NTR/Swinging tags, well:

This is a very rare occurrence. Usually, fathers are either dead or jerks who have committed something akin to genocide.

I'll agree on the swinging in my case, but not so much the NTR (assuming it's actual NTR ).

No but it is misleading when you see:

which says single path or Lisa path which turned out to be the same...

The single path and Lisa path Were different.

In the single path, Alex has a wanderlust that prevents him from settling down with Any woman.

We see sex with a number of the women from CS but, on this path, none of them are 'enough' for him to commit to them and rein his wanderlust.

With Lisa, we get a relationship that has a lot of sex in it but, IMO - not enough of a foundation on which to build more - Given the story.

Her story ends in a breakup - I see it as Alex is not the right man at the right time for her (my take - others can certainly feel differently).

I was one who hoped for more Tara time with Alex and Jaye (not a specific ending in any dev log), but I did not see what I hoped for.

It hardly ruins the story for me though.

As I said in my initial post about this release - the devs Cannot cover all the possibilities that everyone hoped for.

The devs created a story that did Such a good job with the different women that many of us wanted more options to be with more of the women.

I see this as a tribute to the characters created, not a disservice to fans.

I choose to view the various endings with Chasing Sunsets as a cup more than half full versus focusing on what is missing.

GL as you look for other AVNs that better meet your expectations!

so i run my last walkt and was fine till after the cincert and then y have 3 choices,...what i did to dont have the choice to be with the 2 of them ? where the path split? i want the jaye\mal path but dont know what i did wrong?

If you want to be with both, you'll be going back to Chapter 6 most likely (when you have the relationship talks with both of them). Being in an open relationship with them doesn't lead to polyamory.

So, I played the update. Somehow, the choices from my save weren't recognized by the update, and I was instead offered a selection of outcomes. I used this opportunity to make a Jaye & Mal save for research purposes, then found the bug (a rookie mistake, experienced devs such as these wouldn't make it, pretty sure it was intentional to provide testers with easy access to the selection) and fixed the game to recognize my choices correctly.

No it wasn't intentional, of course not. Just something Stoya, myself and the other beta testers failed to detect when doing the final beta (it had been rewritten for the final release candidate). Blame it on the 3 or 4 hours of sleep each of us managed to get every 24 hrs for a whole week, including yesterday...
The selection menu you were offered is a "fail-safe", making sure that if the path couldn't be automatically detected, the game would not fail on you. But we were not even sure players would be presented with it...turns out we were glad it was in there.
By the way that bug (and a couple of missed typos) were silently fixed on Steam earlier today.

You did nothing wrong. You can't continue that particular '"open relationship" path. How would two girls feel in real-life if you somehow wanted an open relationship, but they didn't, and felt more and more uncomfortable with it? They would split, eventually...

I will say that open relationships can realistically lead to polyamorous ones, but that's really only going to happen if everyone involved is mostly happy with the open relationship but wants to make things a little more committed and exclusive. From a narrative and character perspective in CS though, it makes sense to me that isn't the case.

Exactly. Some people have been angry that they wouldn't be able to continue that open relationship path all the way, but come on, game narration made it pretty clear, very early on while still in Tonalu, that both girls were unhappy with it. It was bound to fail eventually.
The same players would also complain that the polyamorous path that opens up at the end of Chapter 9 is a complicated one. It really isn't. It makes perfect sense too...only when Jaye is so in love with you, so confortable around Mal, recognizes the attraction you have for her, can she be the one to suggest it. It had to come from her, not from you.

yea Jaye solo was easy enough, but the poly one I had to cheat, messed up somewhere, it's pretty strict with the points

That I do agree with. Even just adding 2-3 more points of wiggle room for Jaye would have made me feel a bit less like I had to "game" the points and/or use a walkthrough to end up there.
