So, no animations, bad choices for girls time and effort put into certain girls epilogues when it won't matter, and devs saying they wanted to do more. So what, are they just lazy?

How about complete the game you started instead of half assing it, just to get it out early. How about stop being greedy and just find another animator to pay, instead of just saying nope after having animations for the whole game.

I already wasn't huge on the direction, felt like they started rushing chapters and stories, and dumb pathing logic that gets thrown out the window(throuple/poly, biggest disappointment of mine), imo, but then they put out these epilogues, in a rushed fashion, just to get it out.

Its crazy to think the best ending might be letting Jaye drown. Cause then at least a top tier girl like her wouldn't have to see the butchering of such a great game.

Makes you think about Firebreak, if they have trouble with a few characters, and other stuff and decisions, what happens when we add more characters, will they rush chapters there too, make pathing choices that make no sense. Just soemthing to consider.

Okay I have played through all the endings and let me just say fuck yeah Hank! Some of you were never going to be pleased and just need to cry about everything. Yeah you can't end up with Bianca or Lisa (though I will admit it makes me sad, especially no Rikki ending) it doesn't mean every woman you date in life is gonna be a happily ever after. Though I do find it weird if you don't end up with Jaye you almost always steer back towards Mal. Just because the ending wasn't perfect doesn't mean its the trainwreck some of you are pretending it is.

Also in reality the only endings that had to live up to everything are the Jaye and Mal endings. Literally your two main girls. Mal's was good, but everything I love about Jaye being the most adorable horndog on the planet came in for the win. I love that girl.

My playthroughs are all complete, and I am satisfied with what I got (though that doesn't mean that I couldn't have been more satisfied...). I think part of the issue a few people are having is with playing just the epilogue/s in isolation - would they have felt as disappointing if the game had been played continuously, rather than waiting nearly a year between Eps9 and 10?

Full endings (as opposed to "it's finished but epilogues/additional chapters will follow") are always going to be hard to do, and divisive when done, but I don't think this was a bad one at all. Definitely not the best I've played, but it wasn't terrible by any stretch - though I admit, having animations for the lewd scenes would have made a pretty big difference, as each scene felt almost like a montage without them.

I don't think even playing all the endings it felt like there was enough content to have taken 11 months, but that's literally just thinking about the time taken to play. When you consider the quality of the renders, I think it's clear why this game takes time to develop. They look fantastic, but they are also done with care. As a very quick visual comparison, see the same jacket here used in a game that released after a really long dev cycle. The attention to detail is far better in CS, IMO. Yes, you can argue that Jill has bigger breasts to cover than Amanda has, but that's not the issue, (most) clothing just doesn't do that...

Other than lacking animations, the sex scenes were good (with animations, they'd have been great), although it was disappointing to only get one per main path (not counting the audio-only sex scenes in the tent, and counting Mal's as a single scene interrupted and restarted). Thinking about it, for a multi-path game, that's maybe par for the course, but for an ending, I'd have wanted at least two sex scenes per main path, probably more (and not just in a sense of "give me as many as possible, I just want lewds!").

Also, Jaye has massively grown on me as I've played the game. I always really liked her character, but found her looks let her down (the skin tone and hair colour just didn't match well enough for me). As the game progressed, I came to like her looks more, and I have to say, she looked absolutely fantastic on her wedding day. Just look at her!

So yeah, both happy and sad to see this one finished (it's positive, just a shame that there won't be more Jaye and Mallory. And Amanda), but looking forward now to Firebreak.

Two things bother me: the lack of animations and the fact that there is no ending where we can marry Mal.

In my opinion, apart from the graphics (especially the LI models), it's a pretty mediocre game.

Is there any information about the other game?

Ok, I started over from scratch and was able to get the successful J+M poly relationship ending (which I really, really liked) by following the instructions posted earlier in this thread.

Now, is there a list of instructions/choices/whatevers to get the Mal + Amanda (Or possibly Zuul) ending?

She goes from BFF who's always around Jaye to completely disappearing. In the Jaye ending tara appears once as a blurred person in the background of a scene.

She was actually a great and compelling character that added depth to the main characters.

Just get love points with Mal, ignore or stay platonic with Jaye, and accept the threesome with Amanda. Peanut will still leave you and do her own thing in chapter 10.
