GDS is seriously one of the best and most reliant creators we have out there these days.
Its pure joy just looking at the changelog of every release! I'll still wait for the full release \ final version though.

OK, I'm curious. Why do you consider this a horrible solution? You didn't made that clear. Players can decide now whatever relationship they want to have between the characters and I think Patreon can't do anything about it. I think it's brilliant.

A name changer might still not be allowed, going by this message from Patreon Guideline Team in October:

"To clarify, if there is an optional feature in which a character could engage in incestual or non-consensual activities, then the player would still have a chance to view and interact with content that is considered to be a violation of the guidelines.

and second, he probably means that a simple name changer does not add the desired effect in regards of storytelling, hints, innuendos of a relation etc. if the creator did not already set it up for this. There is of course hope in every case that the creator does take this into account.

As said before, they were talking about an option in game to set the names (or by that the relationship) on your own. You are talking about a patch that might do a lot more, as in, add in back the relationship and fitting writing, along with art/render. And in this case im hoping for a patch too.

Just to clarify, Chloe18 does not focus on incest or rape like 90% of the top games(Maybe that's why its so low hanked)
out of 80 scenes only 3 have brother and sister, and only one have rape(not real rape someone just lie that saw it)

about the brotherXsister: the only real pointer that they are brothers is the way they call each other.

Games like DmD and a lot more are all about incest and will need big patches and maybe never will 100% legal to Patreon, but Chloe18 have so little that almost no one will notice it.

Change brother and sister to neighbors:
Carrie: "I can't have sex with you Tom, you are my neighbor"
Tom: "I can't believe I'm fucking my neighbor"

and if you take 5s to open the menu and edit the text box to "Brother" and "Sister" the game will be exactly like before.

Thanks for answering, but I thought there was also a problem that Patreon saw with some being too young (might have been another game, or might have been a false report) and in that case I would have thought a patch would be required.

I wouldnt really call 90% of the other games focused on incest or rape though, the word rape is at least a bit too harsh. Dont think many would want characters screaming or crying or in pain at all.

Anyway yeah, if its not the main focus that change hopefully works, but the message above from Patreon still at least for me points to not even allowing an option. But well who knows, the enforcements seem to change considerably from case to case.

Oh and I already seen two people doing a Lets play for it on Pornhub, dont think most other games get that attention.

i do not even care for the incest at all, but it is just as Delmach said, i think its a problem with creators who start to change the game permenently for patreon rules and change the writing if there is no patch to set it to the original. im just one of those who care alot about immersion and writing, but it wont be significant in this game tho.

patching would be prefered in my opinion but its not to much of a deal in this game.

I put the colors so you can know who is talking. for exemple Chloe always talk in pink, and Carrie is always baby blue.
this way Chloe18 is the only game that you dont need to keep reading the text in the bottom and you can enjoy all 2500 renders

I've played it on my phone first time, hence the text issue.
On PC is better, but maybe on future versions for Android change the text style just a little!
Don't get me wrong, love the game and the plot.

I like how the text moves around to different places, but the goofiness of the font, the harsh colors of the text and the fact that it can be sitting on top of a very busy background can make it hard to read.

Maybe add an option where the text still moves around but is rendered on top of a 30% opacity grey rectangle, or something?
