Not to many people are following yet, because of the lack of content in the game thus far. Understandable.
For those who are curious about the next update... It may be awhile. I'll explain.
So the beginning of the game was a simple linear story, easily coded into Ren'Py. What I am working on now is a bit ambitious. Some would say "Too ambitious for a first game". I agree, it is, but... Why limit myself down the road? Why not learn and make this game like a pro? I am not charging for the game, so I can take my time and not be like those Patreon guys who leach money from their supporters.
That being said, I am diligently working on the game. Learning, coding, getting frustrated, learning from mistakes, throwing my keyboard, going to the store to get a new keyboard, learning some more.... Yes, to implement time, a stat system, sandboxing/free roam, items to buy, ability to make money (or cheat if you want) etc. It all seems trivial reading it, but if you have made a Ren'Py game, watched a tutorial on these things, you understand how tedious it can be. Then getting all the code to be friends and stop fighting is another fun task.
Enough with the novel (not the game, this post). I have made promises to get a game out at a certain time. I will no longer do that. It feels like empty promises, that I cannot fulfil, due to my lack of Ren'Py skills. So, the next update will get done when I get it done. I can only promise that this next update will be more worth your time, than the initial release. Once all things are added to the game I want, I will go back and clean up some of the renders, now that I understand Daz lighting a bit better.
