I still haven't figured out how to add animations to Ren'py. (If any one wants to help me out, I'd appreciate that). So, I'll be doing "stills" until I figure it out. I do plan to add intimate sex scenes, with animations and sounds, but to get the ball rolling again, it will be stills for now.
I'm sure you could find some help/threads in some of the sub-forums or even make one, example Programming, Development & Art

I have tried searching through there. I couldn't get anything to work right or work at all. I may have incorporated it wrong or misunderstood what was explained. I've also tried YT videos and none of them really say how to get them in Ren'py and more unity and unreal based.

Once I get my rig rebuilt, I'll try again after I get some content out.

Well, replaced the broken items and my computer will boot, but won't output a display from the GPU or the motherboard graphics port. I thought with it off, the water wouldn't have caused any issues. I replaced the CMOS battery, tool out the GPU, tried every connection for a loose connection. Nothing doing. So, instead of wasting weeks trying to find out the issue, I just ordered everything to build a new brain basically. I've wanted to upgrade for awhile anyhow. Going from a 2080 super to a 4080 super was on my list the most, and this gave me an excuse to just "refresh." Everything shows arriving before Xmas, so I can build it and work on thr game over the holiday as planned.

Took a screenshot of my order so no one thinks I'm just stalling.

It will only take me a few hours to build it. Windows install takes longer than the actual assembly.

Well, back from out of state. All the computer stuff came in and the last part today (cpu cooler). This motherboard, the CPU pump plug is on the opposite side, from my old motherboard. I checked best buy and local computer shop. No one had a 4 prong extension for the pump cable. I ordered it and it will be here Tuesday. Should be able to start working on the game again next weekend.

I may have to do a bunch of updates for DAZ, Ren'Py, etc. But, should have a good day of coding after, if all the installs go smoothly. Sorry for the delays and thank for your patience!

Well, good news, some bad (only for me). I finished the PC. Everything is installed and running smoothly. 3 of my 5 hard drives must have gotten wet and wouldn't boot. I did NOT lose the hard drive with the game, but I did lose the SSD with all of the renders. So, I'll be rendering all weekend unfortunately. I may still be able to knock out a game update this month, worst case next. All depends on how much I can render out on my Sundays off work.

This new PC build is much stronger than my last, so renders should be a little faster, which may help with the render time.

But, the big hurdles are over. I have a place, I have internet, cheating ex wife is out of my life and my PC is built. Getting back to building the game every Sunday!

I spent the day trying to rebuild the characters. Between the rebuilding the characters from scratch and trying to recreate the same scenes with them took all day for just two characters. This is going to take some time. I underestimated how much time I previously had into the game, and how many hours I had into making the characters and rendering.

It's going to take some effort and time. I will push and get them done. The characters may have slight changes. Just minor details that I couldn't replicate. I'll get them done ASAP.

Or.... This is an excellent chance to tweak and polish, since you're basically starting from scratch anyway. Lay that solid foundation that is going to make future updates that much easier.

Just a thought

I was thinking that as well. I have to re-create each character and scene already. I wanted to fix the lighting in most of the scenes anyhow.

I'm torn because of the delays I had and the promises I couldn't keep before, due to my seperation. I want to get an update out as soon as possible, but I also want to produce a quality update, not just a, "Here is a scene I threw together" update.

It is going to take quite awhile to reproduce each scene and character. You never really think of how much time you have into a project, until you are forced with reproducing it. My game is merly an intro, but there are weeks of creations, tweaking, and generations.

I am going to work on the game as much as I possibly can, not just on Sundays and produce the best quality of updates that I can. Hopefully weeks, but possibly longer.

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Getting your rhythm and process back in working order will probably result in a more fluid creation process and speed up your work. Fighting against rust right off the jump will slow you down and frustrate you.

You don't need more frustration, you have an ex for that.
