making fun of someone for not reading/trusting a tag when it is directly next to a tag that is objectively 100% no longer true is a...bold move but absolutely in line with this stories overall quality
I have never seen misapplication of the
horror tag, but
even if it happens, the description of the game itself should be enough to tip someone off: Something "mysterious and
disturbing is happening here. Strange people and unexplained phenomena seem to
haunt you. The protagonist's
frequent nightmares add a creepy element to the story." If you couple that with the tag, I see no reason to think this is anything
but a story with actual horror.
Sorry, but if you read that and
don't think there could be anything that might cause a jump scare, I think mockery is justified. And if you
haven't read the description, I also think mockery is justified. It's called using your brain to make decisions instead of making dick-jerk reactions because of "all the purdy pickchures." An honest mistake is one thing, but whining about the game when you're the one who made the mistake is unjustified... and merits calling someone out.
