Patreon can delete the accounts of game developers who depict incest in their games. This is precisely why we need to show understanding towards developers.
or we can stop supporting developers on patreon and get them to move to other platforms. Either that or Patreon will notice lower profits and course correct.
I don't support censorship in any form except japanese pixels.

The problem is not only patreon tho, if it was that easy it would've been solved quicker. Card companies are also attacking adult content no matter where you buy it. Patreon is just one of the biggest source of money for most if not all devs.
Then developers should make stories that actually make sense with characters who are not related rather than try to skirt around it with landlord / land lady step friends shit.
Like just write the story so the characters are not super obviously related, but for "reasons" are not in game.
I'm sorry but a landlady in real life doesn't do your damn laundry, cook your meals, have a bangin hot daughter, and shower with the door open all in the first 3 days of moving in.

I don't think there's a platform left that doesn't impose restrictions. Fundamentally, Mastercard and Visa have taken on the role of moral police, which is why all these restrictions exist. They threatened platforms that provide adult content, saying they would block payments. In other words, they dared to interfere with how we spend our money. Almost all of us have these companies' logos on our bank cards because they provide the payment infrastructure for nearly the entire world. They probably didn't realize how much power and influence they have. With a single threat, all platforms hosting adult content, including Steam, became cowed.

I very highly doubt that, especially given your next statement:
They have controlled huge amounts of commerce throughout the world for several decades at this point, going back to at least the 1970s. I don't see how there's any feasible way they could possibly be ignorant of the huge sway they have. That's like saying Internet providers like Comcast, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, and Bharti Airtel all are ignorant of where their businesses operate and how much control over services and pricing they have. Also, since there are really only a very limited number of credit card companies that can compete (such as American Express or Discover), there's no way Visa and Mastercard don't realize their degree of control.
Well, glad I didn't delete v0.3. I can save it in the folder I have called "Censored Later". I can pretend that the game was abandoned at this point, because it might as well be when we see the lack of integrity the dev is displaying.
I have way more respect for someone that can own up to being an asshole, than one that is and pretends he isn't.

- Claiming there was no incest in the game two years ago.
- For some reason the latest update within the last month suddenly having the relationship settings removed.
- Also adding "look patreon! they aren't siblings" dialog in this update.

So lets see..
Latest update was pretty short as expected as animations like that consume a tremendous time developing.
The animations improved even further. Already liked this content in 0.2 but it seems like Dev gets more and more comfortable with the engine. The experience is a lot stronger on the visual side making the scenes more lively. There are still some gaps regarding transition, but it is really damn good in its current state and i cant keep myself from wondering what content we might enjoy with some further time and improvement. The fighting scene was pretty damn impressive. Props!
The writing improved as well comparing it with 0.2. Its a bit more fluid, not a masterpiece, but some lines were pretty good.
Sometimes it feels like i just jump to the next scene, this is giving me the feeling of a more episodic vibe like the scenes are complete components stuck together to maintain the common theme. This was the case with 0.2 too, but it got better with 0.3. I would recommand to explain or state the switch of scenery from a narrators perspective between scenes.
Overall i enjoyed it a lot. Thanks a lot for your efforts <3

I play plenty of games with or without incest. But in this one May was obviously thought out to be MC's little sister. You don't act like the MC acts with a childhood friend, without being in a romantic relationship. Unless it's an east-asian culture thing (I noticed the way of speaking and some elements seems like translated from asian culture).
Though I didn't replay from the start, some things might have changed, but except a few word I doubt it. He was probably scared of the recent adult content's censorship wave.
Personally I don't care about non-sex animations and I think it's a waste of dev time. The still renders should be enough to convey the story with some 2-3 shot simili-animations. You're not making a movie or an anime, it kinda sucks compared to the real stuff. But I guess it's what the dev gets a hard-on for.
I don't mind slow burn if the story keeps me interested and captivated by other means.

I have never seen misapplication of the horror tag, but even if it happens, the description of the game itself should be enough to tip someone off: Something "mysterious and disturbing is happening here. Strange people and unexplained phenomena seem to haunt you. The protagonist's frequent nightmares add a creepy element to the story." Sorry, but if you read that and don't think there could be anything that might cause a jump scare, I think mockery is justified. And if you haven't read the description, I also think mockery is justified. It's called using your brain to make decisions instead of making dick-jerk reactions because of "all the purdy pickchures." An honest mistake is one thing, but whining about the game when you're the one who made the mistake is unjustified... and merits calling someone out.
