The relationship with the sister/step?/friend? is broken. Their dialogues don't make much sense and it breaks the immerision. Is there an incest patch ?

They are not related in any way. They knew each other as children and grew close. Both have lost parents, so they grew closer because of similar hardships. They are as if siblings to one another, but they are not blood related. The MC calls May "Sis" because she's like a sister to him; they even specifically say so at a couple of different points in the VN so far. She's not actually his sister (sister, half-sister, or stepsister — none of those). If you don't try to force incest where it doesn't exist, dialogues make perfect sense.
Haven`t finished the new update yet, but I gotta say this.
Realy impressive work. The update visually is on par with the best of them. My applause to the Dev.
Spoon of dirt however is that I find that story picked up too much pace. Some scenes, like finally meeting Asami, are unneceseraly rushed. The game could benefit from from more continuity between scenes, more relaxed pace for scenes to have room to build tension and unwind more naturaly. Sometimes this game feels like its a cinema version of a movie that had some of its parts cut. And that there should be the director`s cut with an hour and a half of additional scenes. Something like that, that is the impression I got anyway.
Overall definetly worth playing, for visuals alone. And the story while have it share of problems is interesting to follow.

I like incest in games and I understand your sentiment, people that like the genre sometimes can be annoying af. Still, in this case imo the forums are to blame, since this game has an incest tag.Yeez all these negativity, i hope for the dev that the whiny bitchy incest fans move along rather quick, theres nothing more toxic and annoying than these entitled bratty guys lmao
I LOVED the fighting animations and the development of the mainstory
There really are enough boring incest college avns or similar stuff, this story is unique and interesting but people are only bitching about (not) being able to fuck their not-anymore-sister
There are only 2 other avns with compareable great fighting animations, if thats not your thing maybe just fuck off
This is the main reason I kept saying that incest is just blood-related, and of what I've read on the comments on the thread, they are more like childhood friends than actual step-siblings even.
And yes, there are a lot of games that I like without incest, but just as an example, I found this game because of that specific tag... I'm not trying to remove importance of what you said, I'm just saying that the tags just bring unnecessary discussion of the genre, because many times people are expecting a different thing because of this stupid criteria of the incest tag.
Sorry for the vent, but while I'm well aware that incest fans can be annoying as fuck, I think it was important to show the issue of the tag. Best wishes for the dev, the previous and reviews look good, most probably I'll try it out in the next days.
Another big example as to why the incest tag doesn't make fucking sense if the characters aren't blood related. As long the tag is there you guys will continue to receive this kind of questions.

I can't speak to that. I only started playing with this latest release, so I know nothing of the past other than so-and-so said one thing, this-and-that said another. I only know what I read from the beginning in this latest, and there's definitely no incest in the game as of v0.4.0.

Unless there's a specific site only where you downloaded it that has a problem, your anti-virus flagged the game incorrectly. I have no virus whatsoever on my machine, and I played the update just fine. Anti-virus very often "errs on the safe side", as it were, alerting about things that aren't actual problems. It is better to be safe, but it does often go overboard too.

Of course it was, nobody was denying that, what are you talking about? The dev had to change it according to the patreon banwave.
The discussion was about if incest is a mandatory part of the story which it was not so far.

I just talked to a therapist and he said that if you really think someone is playing your porngame for the (creepy) plot and not for the beautiful models and great sex scenes, then you are delusional and you should see him as soon as possible
I played it from the start and my recollection (it's been awhile) is that May was always his stepsister. There was even dialogue acknowledging that they weren't blood related to the blonde Li at school.
Some have said there was an option to change the relationship and there may have been but I don't remember that. F95 considers step relations to be incest (I think Patreon does as well) but I don't, which is why I was comfortable playing the game as I am not an incest fan.
I couldn't agree with you more.

This is by far our biggest update yet! It's packed with tons of animations, both simple and exciting, renders for almost every line, and the new dialogue now makes up almost 40% of all the text in the game. On top of that, we've added a bunch of new licensed music, immersive ambient sounds, and sound effects to make the experience even richer.

Speaking of translations... You uh, may want to figure out something a little better for the English translation. Partway through one scene so far and we've got an idiom that's immediately contradicted the next sentence, then somehow eating food got confused with making food (baking, specifically)...
