Okay, I got a bit carried away and needed to add some extra stuff for Shanlon. Her initial scene after writing was to vanilla, so added more hardcore stuff which will be to the anger of my proofreader
I know Shanlon fans will be super happy with this. She actually has a good deal of content here. It kind of makes sense, though,
I have much more to go, but i plan to release in May. It is all lewd and ending animations left, and I am deep into the lewd scenes now. May, it will be the last month I have Patreon active. After that it will be paused. I know I have to do the walkthrough for the last chapters and such, but that is fine.
I also won't be taking active funds from patreon when I am beginning the next game. I am actually debating on two very different idea now. I am reading some old school noir and I really wanna do full blown depraved awakening sequel, but in the 1940's, but another part of me wants to do something in the future like Outland with Sean Connery or the book Blindsight (Read that OMG just don't blame me if you kill yourself after, it can setup an existential crisis). Once i have settled on something and dev progress is happening then yes, we will set patreon to run again. Before that we just go, though!
So, if you guys want to give me your input about what you want; a 1940s detective story, or a more hard sci-fi story let me know. I will admit I do not want to do a poll on this because it is not about who gets more votes, but what I truly wan to do, but your suggestions may change my position.

I will love it! Specially if you surprise us with a threesome between her and Victoria.About the choice for Philly's next game theme: I would say my vote is for a Sci-fi story. I mean, I am an "Alien"
and I do love sci-fi things! Nothing against 40s detective stories, but, I think a game Mass Effect or Halo theme would work better than Sherlock Holmes theme these days. Just my honest opinion for what a like mostly.

There has been a compressed posted since the update came out, and I even refreshed the links, just compressed pc, compressed mac, compressed v1.14.0 etc.

May is a great release date, we are so close!
As for the next game, my concern is that sci-fi concepts can be quite wide. There can be a lot of creativity involved in aesthetics and mood that can change from person to person. We would not know what to expect, which is not to say it won't be good, but we are not sure.
Whereas the 1940s noir is more narrow, people can conjure in their minds what to expect aesthetically and narratively.
If I had my pick, I think 1940s Noir. I think the girls from that era would look, feel and act a certain way which can be supremely attractive. With a sci-fi setting, he'll probably have a few options as alien women which may or may not be good depending on how well they are designed.

Why not both? Why not do a hard sci fi Neo noir like Blade Runner that asks existential questions like what does it actually mean to be human?
Whatever he does, I pray to God that he focuses on the story and doesn't just twist it to accomodate more and more sex scenes with different characters. Like have a couple of characters and let them be important to the story, but add sex scenes only if the opportunity arises due to the story.
Also, it is my personal opinion after having played so many games, harem takes away from the romance somehow. So I hope the next one is a single LI per play through game. That way I feel like you can truly get attached to a character. Like Rachael from Blade Runner. Still one of my favourite movie love interests. Or Evelyn Cross from Chinatown. In fact I would love it even if there was a character who wasn't an that you have to protect like Ellie from TLOU or the girl from the upcoming game Pragmata.
Anyway, I wrote a bit too much, but I am really interested in seeing what Philly comes up with next.

Guys, I have an idea that I would like to share with you all: I am not sure if Philly has any interest in continue the City of Broken Dreamers game after the final chapter is over, so, I think the COBD community should reunity as a team and ask Philly permission to create some DLCs for the game. I mean, in the fan art thread, for example, there is a lot of good artists that could take care the rendering part and some people could stay together as the writers part.
My idea with these possible DLCs is to tell the not told stories of some COBD girls: Like Victoria, for example, a path telling how she became one of the top Baynard lieutenants. Or Shanlon, how she became a reporter and a hardcore sex addicted person. Or Meredith, when she was younger and how she became the Ice Queen of Baynard.
If you guys have any other ideas for cool DLCs with girls in the game, please share with me.

For the next game Philly could always combined the 40s noir and the sci-fi, something like retrofuturism in Fallout games. It would be something very interesting design wise
