I can only imagine one thing: she is the MC's ex-wife and a reunion is never a good idea in most cases. Feel free to ask the developer this question.
i am both sad to see it end
kind of underwhelmingly after such a long wait

Fantastic. Thanks for a fully realized vn. I love sci fi so it is a very biased opinion . H scenes are always great (especially because everyone is hot) but I also really appreciate how beautiful the renders are. You did really good world building and the cut scenes and especially just the panning or top down city shots. There was a lot of planning and render time spent on this and it shows. I quite like the story and you left room for a return in the future. One suggestion I have is make the h scenes have less choices as the scenes progress and save yourself some render time and coding branches. Maybe leave them for the most innocent and the most depraved.(we know who those 2 are) It would help streamline the pacing and you would not really miss the action. Still, great experience overall

I haven't played the complete version yet, but according to the replies there's no Chandra ending. Damn, she really is just a glorified side girl.
The above quotes were observations of mine in the early versions of the VN.

yeah what was the point of giving both Chandra and Abby love and lust stats if they are just side hoes.
Not gonna lie the ending was disappointing, I loaded my Chandra save as it was the lastest one that i had and so was more fresh in my mind, and it was like 15 mins of nothing have a shoot out, go unconscious, have a catch up with some characters and have a montage, then no ending with Chandra.
Good on Philly for finishing the game but i ain't playing again.

Maybe OP planned on giving us a proper Chandra ending, but realized the update would've took several more months to complete as a result and scrapped it? *huffs copium*
Very disappointed, as I basically have no interest in these LI's other than Chandra. She's a proper cyberpunk girl, the rest feel like generic characters you could've exported to the medieval ages and their characters would still fit.

For a side-girl, it feels disingenuous to have Chandra as the cover girl for the game on Steam, and yet she is irrelevant to the ending of the story.
Congrats for finishing the game, but that was a major L.
opened all the endings except, Gloria and Victoria , fulfilled the conditions (after that there is a short scene with Gloria and Victoria if Victoria is alive: if you picked 'Enact Victoria's plan' in v.0.7, your Gloria Score is below 7 and you didn't give the fluids to Katie in v.1.0.14, Gloria will not reject Victoria's offer) The ending was not revealed, how to open Gloria and Victoria.
The evil Victoria/Gloria ending was pretty fun. Well, for a story that was way too vanilla and morally righteous, that ending was spicy enough for my taste.
Overall though, I feel like Philly got too bogged down on porn. My memory is very fuzzy on Depraved Awakening, and it could be nostalgia talking, but I feel like that game had a more coherent plot that didn't get lost in the all the porn.
At some point around the half way mark, CoBD just loses the grip on the narrative and turns into a series of sex scenes loosely connected by the plot, instead of it being a plot with sex scenes in it.
I could go into specifics, but I think generally, none of the plot elements had any impact whatsoever because any serious plot point is not explored in depth, has no time to soak in, and is sandwiched between a bunch of sex scenes. It always feels like the serious story beats are intruding on the true purpose of the game. Like even in some completely fucked up stories like the dark routes in Friends in Need (just an example), I can feel something for the characters. But in CoBD, which has the veneer of a serious story, I felt absolutely nothing for any of them (except maybe Henry but he was in the part of the story that didn't go off the rails). They had no depth.
That said, if I were to rate this game, it would go no lower than 4* lol. The complaints are wishing for perfection in an indie scene that is decidedly not perfect. The production value of CoBD alone deserves high praise. I always hold non-fetish and "story-based" plot attempts to a higher standard than a fetish game. And under that hightened criteria, CoBD underdelivers.
