Nice to see this game finally complete, my last playthrough was with chapter 12, but i decided to stop playing cause i wanted to play it again when its complete.
Good wrap up of everything, only the endings were kinda "short"? Would have loved to see a little more with the picked love interest, not just one addational sex scene and thats about it. But to be honest... the whole game wasnt really about the relationships anyways. This game has its perks in other things. 5 star game no doubt about that. In my Top 5 favorites...
Curious what Philly will do next. But maybe he is done doing AVNs and want to do others things, wouldn suprise me much. There is no announcement too.

Finished the entire CoBD saga five times for all the scenes. Wow, it took some time but a lot has happened in this game. Again, hats off to Philly_Games for completing the project.
My original review gave a 9 and sadly I am lowering my final review to an 8. Not a bad number, but like many people have stated the story took a backseat for the intimate adventures. That’s not bad per se, but I found adventures in places I wouldn’t think to find them, which added a small bit of frustration to my playthroughs. You also really need a walkthrough for it, so kudos to rick87 .
I’ll write up some thoughts in a spoiler tag below and update my review accordingly. I still think this is one of the most memorable AVN’s I have ever played. The world is amazing and I have difficulty believing I won’t be seeing these characters anymore. You should really play this game, it’s worth the time it asks of you. Just make sure you have correct expectations.

Seeing how the story 'ended', there's enough hints dropped about a sequel, where the fuckers at Vostok become Baynard 2.0, supposedly bigger, badder and uglier than them, thanks to that idiotic cunt, Shanlon, selling them important secrets for money and some futuristic male sexbot army to tear her asshole apart or something batshit crazy like that.
A prequel about the Augment program, Henry and his companions' 'heroic' deeds, MC's army and mercenary days, the Caracas incident that affected him, Sonya and Gloria so much, Victoria's upbringing, Meredith's fall into narcissism and darkness and more information about Baynard, some stuff that Philly should've gone into detail about in the current story, would make for a good prequel, there's a shitload of canonical material to work with, but I don't know, bois. Was left terribly disappointed by how things unfolded in the second book of COBD and how the story ended leaving most of us disappointed and having a big WTF moment at how Philly basically pulled the plug on the game.

No offense to Philly, I made it clear I love his work and respect him as a dev, cuz he earned his fans' respect through hard work and dedication, but only fucking a legit crazy slut like Shanlon in the ass and slapping the shit outta her can't be considered anything that depraved.
This is why you watch hardcore porn for the "plot" and scientific purposes and implement in your game what you consider the best and socially acceptable stuff. Anyone wanting an example should watch Dave Portnoy and Sydney Raines sex tape, or hardcore porn by guys like Rocco Siffredi and other mainstream porn artists like him. Shanlon, Teri and Evil Vic (spellbound path) are simply wasted potential here. The MC should've gone to town on their asses and left them a complete mess after fucking the ever loving fuck out of them, but that didn't happen, and it's Philly who wrote them as sexually-depraved, dick-hungry whores asking the MC to treat them just like that.
Hope things will be way better in the next game, but that remains to be seen. Not gonna hold my breath for that to happen until I get solid proof of it.

Pretty much. What should have been allowed is some of the roughest anal fucking she'd ever seen, followed by a surprised pullout and hard thrust to the pussy with an instant inside cumshot - something she never asked for, but totally deserved like the whore she was. Lets face it, Philly dropped pretty much half of the storyplots, no... way more.
He finished just the Story for Gloria and how she can "live on" now, everything else is totally open. Vostok, Shanlon, Alexis Connor, Red Moon, whats with the augment program, the "cure", and i could go on and on and on. There were so many subplots in this game, and they are all without an ending.
And overall the end of the game was rushed too. I said this earlier: "Good wrap up of everything" and iam just wrong about this.
Philly didnt wrapped up much. Dont know why i wrote this though... maybe i was just happy that the game didnt get abandoned like so many others and got a finish in the end that is bareable? Whatever, but no, Philly didnt wrapped up many things.
I played a second playthrough just right now, didnt felt that different and while i played and at the end i recognized, it felt like Philly lost interest in the game and just wanted to find a way to finsih it somewhat so the dissapointment will not be that big.
Its still a 5 star game, and considered that 99% of the games out here dont even get a finish in the first place or really really bad ones. The end of City of broken dreamers is "ok-ish" The Gloria plot is finished in a good way, she can live her life now. And all the other characters too. And overall, thats the main part of the game and Philly finsihed that just fine.
But other than that it really felt like he lost interest in City of broken dreamers and not that he wants to do another game in same setting with vostok and whatnot. IF he wanted to do that, he could just continue the game?
If its confirmed he wants to do another game in the cyberpunk setting like cxx said, i dont think it will be in the same timeline or even universe like broken dreamers.
