For fun, I tried today to play COBD on my iPad and I spent only like 15 minutes to deploy the app, it was so easy. It's also not that hard to build an IPA and people with jailbreak can enjoy this and other renpy games on their iDevices. Why people do this only for Android ?

It's looking likely at this point which would be a big shame especially with Chandra she is a big fan favourite the other options are just as good but I'd love to have something with Chandra and not reduced to something as just a background character that we cannot pursue.

I would also like if she had a more meaningful role, complete with a spot on the love and lust points score as well. But even if she isn't considered one of the main LIs at this point, she still has a fair amount of content already. And speaking of Chandra...

I don't know if it's true, that she's that favourite, but I don't really understand why would that many ppl prefer her to the main LIs. I already said it a long time ago, but Chandra doesn't look as interesting as them to me. I like her, mostly because she is a very likeable and fun side character, but she has this very generic look that is in every VN which uses DAZ Genesis 8 models. Her face is very doll like, doesn't have distinctive features and her hairstyle is super overused for mostly side characters everywhere. It's on par with Lilith 7 and THE hair bun after they were used in DoD. The other characters look way more distinguishable, and very recognizable. I have seen many characters that look almost the same as her in plenty of VNs. She is an obvious side girl. But as I said, I always like her content, it's never boring, so if there's more of her, I am glad too. I just like the main girls's content more. Btw, very similar looking important LIs are sister from Family Affairs and Lisa from Become a Rock Star. But I think, that there will always be a lot of people wanting something else, than is given, like sister from the aforementioned BaRS.

Unlocked December Custom Renders! Doc and Abby where the winners and went with the christmas theme. After these were done I continued on and made a bunch more with other characters. Those I will push up shortly. This time i just included the 4k versions and black and white. If you want me to keep creating the down sampled 1080p ones let me know and I will continue todo so. And no, I'm not just talking about that Chandra & Meredith scene I'm desperate for Chandra's relationship with her mother would no doubt play a role in how her relationship with the MC evolves. Would the loathing she feels for her mother continue and she keeps doing everything Meredith would vehemently oppose? Would she pretend to change in an effort to get closer to her mother and then help the MC bring down Baynard? Or would her bad behavior prove to be a cry for mommy's attention and she betrays the MC for the approval of Meredith? Yeah, the latter seems very unlikely, but you have to admit if written correctly (as I'm certain Philly would) that would make for a hell of a plot twist, as Ellordrings alluded to several posts ago.

Also, how would Victoria fit into all of that? Imagine Victoria and Chandra turning against Meredith and in their own ways help the MC bring down Baynard... and then the MC takes both girls to Pound Town 2042 Yep, I'm still pushing for threesomes in this game

HA! Yeah, I was thinking about a scene like that myself, Victoria included. It's Chandra's fantasy anyway, so why not make her happy in the process.

Guys, a help here please.
I've been trying to play this game for some time, but whenever I open it I lose interest right then.
The scenes are absurdly well made, this is far from a subject of debate. But, the story and the characters don't captivate me.
I didn't spend much time after that part in the mortuary with the doctor. Do things get better?

I won't be one to ask. I personally like the story, but perhaps it isn't everyone's cup of tea? Judging by your "approved" games in your signature, you might tend to like "slice of life" story games better (DIK, Rock Star and Melody). This won't have that kind of story.

That I already counted on. But so far everything seems very vague and baseless. It's part of this beginning and all, but... I'm not quite sure how to make myself clear. I also don't know what stage the game is in. Will there be plot twists? More base?
And the characters, I feel the same about them. Will they have more depth? Will they be able to hook the player, or is it just sex and the story of the game itself (as if the main point of the game was this story, not "girls story")?

Someone else will have to chime in....no clue what to tell ya. I think CoBD has a much better story thus far and pacing than the list of Melody, Rockstar, DIK, and AL. If by plot twist you mean like a house fire? Probably not. Character depth? Again....compared to other VNs, this doesn't have the usual trope of characters. Its not a daddy/father figure corruption game etc.

Like I said before, its probably not for everyone. It isn't an overly difficult game to play since it doesn't have grindy mini games and a spaghetti of paths....fairly easy to complete a playthrough and if you don't like the full game through 0.5 thus far, you can move on. No harm done.

You should try first his previous game Depraved Awakening which is aready complete. That will get you a better sense of PhlliyGames genre. In my opinion he's one of the best storytellers when it comes to adult indie games. There is an actual plot, some twists and cliffhangers, well developped and consistent characters and as you might have already noticed, he's one of the best 3d artists around here(very good quality renders, posing and post-work editting). So it will basicly come down to the fact if you like his kind of approach.

Nah, forget about these other games. I am aware that they are not alike. It's just that I couldn't feel depth in any character. As some have appeared more than twice and this has not changed yet, I was afraid.
But I will do what xgrotesc said. Depraved Awakening has been on my list for a long time but I haven't given it a real chance yet. I must have played about 10mins during a trip and I ended up not resuming. I didn't remember that they were both from the same developer.
And since you both claim he's a good story maker, that's enough for me.

Hi all. i just started playing this game, i reached chapter 2 and was able to play it until the MC meets Victoria in his home and talks about the "rich-ass party" where he can get infos about the girl and after i chose the "escort girl" (with whom the MC will go to that party) the game "crashes" with an exception, (no matter who i chose) when the chosen "escort" enters the door, this exception comes up and i just cant continue the game, that begins to make me damn angry and disappointed...







Any ideas how to solve this so i can continue the game?
