I was wondering if Philly would make an official walkthrough for the Steam release. Cool, maybe I can finally figure out why I'm still missing part of Chandra's scene in the MC's apartment.

Dev Update #55
Again a busy week, though I did have a ton of personal stuff I also had to take care of. Don't worry, just the usual things you have to do in life.
Still, managed to get a good amount done. Sitting at 332 renders, along with 28 animations with 9 more on on deck waiting to be rendered out. Another thing I have been doing is making a full blown walkthrough. Doing it has let me see some balance issues I never saw before. It is going to take a bit to complete because I want it to be really nice looking, so I have been doing it all in InDesign which I have never used before, so that has been interesting.
I will most likely be adding that on steam and set it up so that to the $5 tier and up have access. Hopefully I can have that done by end of month.
We also have the custom poll going. Once that is done I will do those up so expect them either Monday or Tuesday.

Also, I notice Victoria isn't wearing her 'battle leather' from the end of Episode 7. Either the much anticipated confrontation blows over quickly, or the episode will cover more time than I was expecting. (Or the render is a flashback, I suppose.)

Yeah, I settled on Katie as the most likely main girl to die the last time we talked about killing someone off.
She's a major character (so her death would have weight), and the MC cares about her; you could even say the scene where Katie was locked up in her clinic was foreshadowing. Losing her would put our heroes in an even worse position (they'd no longer have medical support), so it would up the stakes even further. Lastly, the MC has been able to share how he feels with her, so if something did happen to her there wouldn't be a perpetual sense of not telling her in time.
Still, I don't think Philly is going to kill someone just for the shock. I think it would have to fit the story, and at the moment Katie shouldn't be near the line of fire. So if Katie is going to die, I think it would be in the aftermath of whatever goes down at Gloria's old apartment.
Personally, though, I would hate to lose Katie. This game has a great cast, but Katie is hands down my favorite.

I'm not convinced we'll lose any major characters at this point. Gloria is central to the plot as is the MC. Victoria could die, but that wastes all the build up to her having a potential redemption arc (although she could certainly die as part of that arc this seems too early). If Katie dies there was no reason to find the nano, same with Henry - I could see a future choice between saving Henry, making Gloria's future secure, and some third obviously wrong choice like making money for the nano (obviously Henry and Gloria will both be mad if you choose them over the other character). Sonja would seem a bad choice as well since her history with the MC is a source of story drama and revealing a part of his background both of them want to forget (again she could die, but it seems too soon since they have things to resolve and her friend clearly has things in the works). I suspect Henry won't make it through the end of the game even if his nano is repaired, but it might make him powerful enough to make the heroic sacrifice and get the other characters to safety (again seems like something for later in the story unless this is a very long episode).

None of them are central to the ending though. Just because they are important now doesn't mean they will stay that way.
Gloria has almost served her purpose for the plot, by now the players in the game can't pull out whether she's alive or not, there is too much going on.
Stella in DA didn't die until the plot was winding up.

There was way too much build up for the showdown in the next chapter. I will be surprised if everyone escape from it unscathed.

Usually I am against creator made walk throughs. They are typically worse than the fan made ones and are often used as a mid development crutch to show the dev is still working. However, that being said, philly stating the creator walk through is showing balance issues makes me hopeful it will have a good impact on the second half of the games development. The renders stats do seem legit too, although I can't really tell without mac to do some fancy math for me.

Probably that it is "vanilla" and he wants something illegal (incest and/or a shade on the young side. Haha)
He must play the wrong game, came to the wrong thread or he still didn't "play" with Shanlon. There's lots of kinky shit u can do with Venus and Vicky too. Overall I think COBD has the best sex scenes and animations I've seen in 3d porn games.
It's safe to say that this is the best porn game ever made and with Philly in the pilot seat we can expect only the best. But he can pretend that Chandra is Jake's daughter judging by how friendly they are with each other if u help her. He can even make her call the MC daddy. Not saying I did that.
Or he just has to wait for the confrontation in the next chapter to see the MC being raped by his enemies if Henry dies or the Redmoon kills him. Guess rapes and gangbangs aren't too vanilla, right ??

When I read your first message I thought you could be referring to revenge sex so I was like
But if you mean exchanging sex for something, that's just a small fraction of all sexual content included in this game. That only happens with Vicky on a specific route as well as with Shanlon. And even in the latter case, it started that way but seems to be turning into some dom/sub stuff so maybe we'll still be able to have Shanlon in the palm of MC's hand without exchanging any info with her.
Katie, Ellen, Chandra... none of their scenes has anything to do with what you mentioned.

Same. I feel like this games surpassed DA long ago. This is the best porn game out there imo as far as plot and aesthetics go. Although I still haven't played Being a dik so I may be biased.
