Even though I absolutely disagree with that user's opinion I think us fans should just show them the reasons why we think CoBD is an amazing game and Philly a fantastic dev.
I hate it when I go to other games threads, comment on some aspects I don't like (like a stupid story, gratuitous blue-balling, extremely young characters, female MCs depicted as brainless sluts, etc.) only to be told to shut up and leave the thread if I don't like the game. Well, the basic idea underlying any discussiong board is to debate about the things you like and don't like, otherwise we are creating echo chambers where everyone thinks alike.
Of course, this applies as long as the user's opinion was expressed politely.

Yes, I think they are within a few years. I am guessing the MC is 40 or so Betty 50 or so, Henry 50 or so and would fit with Sonya being 35ish. She is HOT!

Ya I think Sonja is incredibly attractive. The name-calling she has toward MC annoys me a bit (just seems too immature), but her physical attractiveness keeps her in the game for me.

Dev Update #64
Well, I think crunch time is now upon us
This week I was focused on writing primarily with just adding a few new pick up shots, animations, and a couple animation fixes, so not that much has changed on that front.
I suspect it will be around 1000 renders and a bit over 60 animations when is all said and done. I still have a good deal on the writing side to do but hopefully I can get it ready for proof around next weekend then do the rest of the heavy lifting on the render and animation front while that is happening.
I also plan on setting up this months poll for customs this week. Still need to decide on some ideas for that though
A long road on this one but we are getting close

Don't have the slightest idea how it will end (it will have many endings like DA had), anything can happen, one thing is certain and damn sure... Philly won't disappoint us. The bois who played the game since 0.1 know how it always kept the fans in suspense about what will happen next and it was always worth the wait. Expect an epic finale !!

I just hope there will be a spellbound Victoria ending. I've played to many games or read manga with a femme fatale character in it who controls/manipulates the mc and almost always at the halfway point or towards the end the mc turns it around or suddendly the mind control doesn't work or something and she loses or ends op dying or something.

Possible but think a more likely route for Victoria may be she comes around to helping the MC. No matter what route taken so far it's apparent she's beginning to feel conflicted about her part in the whole thing.

I don't think a "mind controled" Jake will have any sort of good ending. More likely dead or forever bound to every Victoria's whim like a good bitch.

The story of DA is excellent, its a crime noir thriller so if you enjoy that genre you will love the game. It was Philly's first game so the renders and animations are not close to the quality that he puts out now in CoBD but yes its very much worth a playthrough or two.
