Can't pretend I don't feel the same. Sadly, every journey has its end and all good things must come to an end, but cheer up... it's not like COBD is the last masterpiece Philly developed before he retires.
Taking into account everything he's learned so far, both story and visualwise, I expect only the best from his new game, and I'm willing to bet I won't be disappointed, so expect at least 4 more years of top-notch quality content with lots of good fapping material from him, the latter being less important to mention, but yeah, Philly ain't going anywhere and his already amazing art and storytelling skills can only get better with time, just like a fine wine does.
I share the sentiment. Patience is a virtue, there's a shitton of other porn games to play to pass the time till the update drops. The man already said it's well worth the wait and enough content to justify all the waiting... there's no point in constantly asking the same couple of questions, cuz this isn't the Jackerman thread.
We all know Philly ain't the kinda dev to claim his dog ate his hard/SSD drive, or whichever excuses are trendy now when it comes to showing the results of his hard work, like a bunch of other 'devs' do for some 'weird' reasons, so I personally believe him and will wait patiently for the next and final update of COBD looking forward to an ending that's worth of a game of its caliber.

As far as I known, Phily is making a poll to let people decide which theme wil be his next game, no? Well, atleast I saw someone making a post about this around here some days ago. I am not sure if it is confirmed that Philly next game will be a continuation of COBD, but could be.
Some days ago you say? Well, if I recall correctly, Philly made his announcement about his next game some MONTHS ago. Wouldn't surprise me if some over-enthusiastic fan made a poll not knowing it has already been decided months ago.

Months ago is a big stretch, Philly publicly announced the idea of choosing a genre less than a month ago on Patreon (not a poll per se, but he did ask for Patrons' opinions on the matter)

The last time he voiced his idea of the next game staying in the COBD universe but going further in time was back in 2022, so his latest announcement from less than a month ago is probably much more relevant to the current situation about the next game

Sure, I wanted more out of that ending, but it was good
Not really the most he could do is add to the endings i dont see how a sequel would work

what cliffhanger? Did I get some other ending which yall didn't get? I ended with the first girl we met in the game, sry i forgot her name it's been a while, the one who we pay to have sex with, we together continued the detective business. Which ending did you get???

guess i have to play it again, pretty sure mine ended with a fight after a car crash where i could choose to let her(the one trying to kill me) live or leave, but i myself were wounded bad....It ended on a boat with Mi-do.
