i swear i thought this game was discontinued, they're beating a dead horse at this point. TO the 3 dev still working on this project, just change project, this is just sad.
Still no version 1.0 after so many years, why isn't it tagged as abandoned yet :I ?

Game remains one of the greatest examples of squandered potential that I've ever seen. Like rarely do I find the fumbling of something so annoying to think about.

Gotta wait for this a long time, I just want farming simulator, the problem is can't find the japanese version of harvest moon and the graphic is looks nice and completed it is just no one translate and I cant find the name!
It's quite ironic that the best game in the genre that Breeding Season started is... Breeding Season even though it was abandoned like 10 years ago.

It's basically a farming/dungeon sim "game" created by devs who are allergic to porn content and think porn are beneath them and they were just use it as a facade to attract funding, completely oblivious to the fact that without the porn content this project is horrendously inferior to stardew valley, other farming or dungeon crawling rpg game out there.
If i try to guess their way of thinking, they're envisioning this project as a game where people were originally was drawn by the goon front, but then gonna praise it like "oh this game is actually good/deep even without the porn" (something like katawa shoujo or sengoku rance)
the problem is, the game's UI / navigation / farming / dungeon crawling / breeding system is all trash in comparison to other games, and the only main draw that pull and hold all people's patience and hope is those fucking hires animations they originally intended to use as a trap

it was a joke to how little the game gets update for how much attention and effort it original seem to get. It was hyperbolic but i'd say it seems even less than that amount of people running the project because no way in hell does it take 3 people to give this little of an update.

Wasn't even the first time he walked away from a project, just the first time he rug pulled on investors. If you remember that artist from his 4chan days you'd remember his failed attempt at making a parody of RPG's that didn't even make it past a first build because he insisted on writing the engine from scratch for some reason when RPG Maker already existed.
14000 split three ways is 4,600 a head or 55,200 a year. So immediately this discounts any major US city, and most of Europe. But we're jumping the gun a bit.
Patreon takes an 8 - 12% cut, and federal taxes are going to be another ~10%- lets assume they live in the US. They get to pay for their own health insurance, so that'll run another ~350-450 a month. They still have state taxes to pay.
The only way you could justify the cost is if you worked on it part time while you carried another full time job. And knowing S-Purple there's no way he jumped ship to make less money so it's probably not a strictly even cut.
Because the site tends to err on the side of the developers who insist they're still working on it and are still pushing (albeit small) updates. Making an animation heavy porn game was always going to be fraught with problems because animation is expensive and time consuming, even with modern tools. And it needs to be expensive because cheap animation looks like crap.
