When the quest log says "The Cockring of Lust" isn't available right now, is that because it's not implemented at all, or is there a prerequisite for it in the game that hasn't been fulfilled yet?

Also, for whatever it's worth, neither the Quests or Stats buttons work in the MC's room, which means you have to travel to somewhere else to open them, I assume that's an oversight?

It's not implemented.
It works in the MC's room, prior to choosing a location at least. That opens up a new screen with the locations, which blocks the stats and quests icons (since they open other screens). Maybe there's a coding way around this, but I haven't found it.
So basically at this stage, just scroll mouse up (ie: go back in time) till you get the dialogue "What should I do today/tonight?" and you can open the quest screen then.
