Others Completed Cockwork Industries: Complete Edition [v4.19] [Digital Seductions]

So like clockwork (or is it... cockwork?) about 10 seconds after opening the game it kicks back out to Windows. Says the applications is still running but work do anything except a blank screen then Windows again. Anyone else run into this? I skimmed the comments but if something was here I missed it.

Amazing how a pro team like this can get some things so right and some things so wrong.

There is a "replay" system which basically gives you a link to a homepage with movie of the scene you unlocked.
Once you restart the game, ALL progress is lost and you wont be able to access previously unlocked scenes (no its not a bug, you get a ingame warning regarding it).

Anyways, here is what I managed to unlock:

Great renders but really annoying mini-games, which can kill the re-playability of the game.

First things first: All these not only locking whenever you start a new game (meaning you can never have all unlocked), but also being fucking QR links to a perpetually overworked server is complete nonsense. That being said, these guys know their way around a renderer.

Wow this game pissed me off seriously like f hell, I went for the redhead and gave her the recording and what i got ? A fucking text "I only was teasing you bye" what a load of bull and btw the game is bugged too cuz after that i went to the blond girl office and could give her the recording as well and yet again no sex scene just a quick delete and let this game burn in hell for eternity. Good renders tho and "orgy" even tho you didnt participate had smooth animation.

Oh interesting I thought it looked familiar to the LOP/S&G Games. I'd guess their probably pissed that Leonizer still makes them use Flash like its 2008.
It actually looks a bit more refined even the sprites are animated which LOP don't do.

Game seemed alright. Wasn't much puzzling from the little I played (Just had to pay attention during dialogue). Played long enough to realize I suck at finding a slip of paper and closed it while being a little disappointed that I didn't get to see any sex scenes with gravity defying beach balls (no I'm not going to use a walk-through).

"Real game" my ass. The models are obviously gorgeous but the lewds are kept behind confusing "gameplay" (because otherwise players would realize how little content there really is) and a mediocre (at best) story. I really wish devs like this would understand their position and not try to do some heavily narrative-driven porn game when a) most people just want to get to the porn and b) they're really, really not suited to make narrative games in the first place.

This is one of those "games" where you should just wait for a CG rip and be a lot happier and save yourself a lot of time you will otherwise never get back.
