Hi, I’m Astaroth and I’m one of two developers that worked on the game (so I’m literally half of the development team ;-) ) and I’d like to address some of your points from this thread.
First a few disclaimers regarding Cockwork Industries:
1. This is a game where you have to actually read dialogue in order to know what to do next. Same goes for tutorial text. Most of the things you claim are “bugs” and “unfinished” can be made sense of by reading text in the game. The game explains exactly how to access inventory, how to save the game, how to proceed in the sex minigames. We wanted to make an actual GAME, not strictly a wankfest ;-) and we want to engage players beyond just watching sex scenes. Some people may not like it, but that's how the game works.
2. It is a game that is meant to be replayed. I understand it can be frustrating not to be able to bang your favorite girl in the game, but, as in life, you’ve got to earn it first. I believe it’s not to hard if you give the game enough attention. That said, if we have multiple reports of the game being too difficult and frustrating, we might consider lowering the difficulty a bit.
Now to address your issues:
. Our animations are not all perfect but setting up an animation takes a lot of time. We need to constantly balance time investment and quality.
The subscription model helps us fund further game development, but you are in no way forced to use it. Also, if you subscribe you’ll have access to DLCs and future games once they come out. The subscription also gets cheaper after the first month. We still plan to have DLCs for this game and work on improving it overall.
Overall, from reading through your posts, the only actual bugs are related to loading/starting a new game, which we’ll investigate. The other “bugs” are just not carefully read instructions and dialogue or just some of you not liking the game or parts of it, nothing we can do about that, although we’ll reflect on the feedback for sure. Those of you do enjoy the game, please consider buying the game if you have disposable cash. I’m not here to judge anyone, but we won’t be able to continue making games if we can’t afford it. Simple as that.

We don’t want the game to be possible to solve in one playthrough. You can roughly save every 15-20 minutes of gameplay time (provided you don’t get stuck a lot) and we think that’s quite fair.
These indeed look like bugs and we’ll have a closer look at it. Overall saving and starting a new game have proven to be quite problematic from a technical standpoint. We tried to eliminate all bugs, but apparently some are still left.
To properly animate breasts would require true physics, a technology we don’t yet possess

That’s why you can watch the scenes again after you finish the game. There are surely improvements to be made regarding the minigames, but we want to engage you somehow, not just play the videos in loops.
Unlocking sex with characters is based on actions you take through the main story and your reputation score. Remember that the dialogue option you think is correct isn’t always correct. The girls give hints towards the outcome but sometimes it’s not obvious.
I feel you. Originally the “world” of Cockwork Industries was diesel-punk. I made a Tales of Pleasure comic that served as a starting point for the game and it was just that. Unfortunately, we rely on stock 3d asssets and currently there are simply not enough assets available to make a whole game in that style, so we had to made it a bit more generic.
It’s explained at the very start.
We are currently unable to have permanently unlockable in-game rewards so that’s our way around that.
This seems to be a technical issue on your end. Nothing we can do about that.

If we are meant to do multiple play-throughs to find every scene and every ending, how about a way to skip the (apparently mandatory?) orgy scene?

I'm rather confused. On the digital seductions site the preview for the game has a picture of Andrea (Redhead, hope I got name right) giving the pc a titfuck
Is that not in this game or is it planned for the sequel?

The same reason we don't have permanently unlockable rewards. Currently the game has no way of recognizing you already finished the game upon starting a new one. If we eventually find an efficient and bug-free way to program this, we might do something like that for future releases.

just started the game
and read the above quote
why are almost all game developers thinking that it's only 18 years old with a sharp sight

No idea why, but everytime I do a scene with a girl (and orgie) it says I did it poorly at the end. Now at the start of each scene I did miss a few touch spots that caused them to not like it, but it was literally like 2, I hit every mouse click in the blue area 100% but they still say it was poor. Can anyone help on this? Am I doing something blatantly wrong? Ta.
The renders are really well done, and I think that's pretty important but I don't think the rest of the game is that good. Making us focus on minigames during sex scenes is not 'engaging' with the content we care about, it just makes us ignore the porn content to engage with the annoying minigame content that no one cares about. Minigames can be okay, but they should enhance the scene and not require us to mostly ignore the scene. Going back and watching the scene after doing the minigames like the dev suggests seems like terrible design. Why not let the player fully appreciate the scene while it's brand new instead of making them revisit an old scene? The minigames even caused me to miss some scenes due to failing them on my first playthrough even though I was mostly ignoring the porn and trying to pass the game.
For a game like this I think it could benefit from a hint system. It's really annoying if you often get stuck and there's nothing to tell you what you should do next. Just going around clicking on a bunch of random stuff hoping something happens isn't very fun. Relying on hints from dialogue is not good enough imo. Sometimes I'll get bored with a dialogue and don't care to read it, and sometimes the hint in the dialogue is non existent or not obvious that it's a hint.
Last thing, is it even possible to pass the minigame at the end? I clicked all the buttons as they light up and hear the click noise after pressing the button, but I still seem to always get the failure outcome. At least you guys had the foresight to see people might not be able to pass this scene and automatically progress it after several minutes of boring gameplay.

Minigames during sex scenes has to be one of the biggest no-nos in H-games to exist. Totally destroys the game. Also yeah would love to not be able to play a black guy.
Mini-games is OK, but do it during the gameplay section of the game, not during the sex scenes. Wanting to make a game first and foremost doesn't exclude the fact that this is marketed as an adult game and thus should be designed accordingly to facilitate better sensual experience that shouldn't require much player input during sexy times.

Sure, but having it be a popout to a website for a 4 second video is a pretty obtrusive way to go about it. It basically tells people playing the game, hey look at all this hard work we did making these animated renders...but don't actually look at them make sure you go back later and rewatch it.
When I say It felt like the correct path for characters it is based on the feedback after a choice. If a character responds positively, but some hidden trigger that flipped because you talked to another character blocks progress there is no way to actually figure that out in game without a shit ton of trial and error and basically brute forcing the game.
--- I'll add another "complaint" in that I cannot find a way to skip text on a second playthrough or after loading an old save. If you load a day from the beginning you should have to sit through all the dialog every single time, especially one that forces multiple playthroughs to get endings.
