Thanks a lot for the feedback! To be honest, this is the first game I activate the cheat mode. It is rather unplayable without it. Raising stats takes an enormous amount of clicks and lectures and chances.
Tip: why is there a chance system in learning? Anyone will learn something, but the level of learning may vary.
Also: please check your background images at scenes. You are showing the previous one at most events.
Seeing the debug messages with activated settings is nice, but not when we are playing. Implement a 'debug' setting.
I hope there will be more images as well, as the texts are there and probably ok, but without the images.. it is not really interesting. Potential, but needs a lot of work still.
You are welcome. Thanks for taking the time to respond; that does not always happen here. Thanks a lot for the feedback!
The lectures are rather uneventful. So at this moment rather boring to go through. Our MP is one of the brightest minds (that is the story right?) so learning so little during a full lecture seems strange to me. Remember: there are loads to go through, just for one lecture, and then there are all those other types to attend as well...Regarding the lectures, you get 2 skillpoints just for participation as long as you are below 50 and 1 extra if you are below 75! The skillcheck there can only give 1 additional point!
It is okay if you want other events to contribute to maxing it out, but I have been clicking away and am nowhere near max. I also get the feeling I always fail at everything. Which is weird, as the MC is the brightest mind going to the best program. Why would he fail at soo much, so often? Remember: most tests are a combination of 2 or 3 skills, so before you finally get to some point of a change > 50 or 75%, you need a very high level in most.I was actually afraid that the lectures are too good, and that people will disregard other progression! Certainly something I will tweek further! I definitly don't want people to reach max skill rank in the lectures! (I could think about disabeling them after you earned a certain skill level)
I have not done proper testing, but I would suggest these improvements:Do you think If most skills would start at about level 40 it would have made you more likely to progress just with the skill points earned in the story quests instead of clicking through endless lectures?
For me the actual raise of skills, through the meditation.... why not change that to a good night sleep? That is actually how it works in real life. I personally did not get the part where I need points to be able to meditate to raise my levels. It is also rather difficult. I see points, then I click a button and then there is some calculation. In the beginning I raise a massive number but then near zero. There is no real clue how to improve this.Regarding the grindy parts, how did you feel about earning affection? was it also to slow?
Like the hit on girls stories (which are nice to read) but there is 0 picture. Yes, at least one picture would be nice , to get an idea of a girl.Regarding more pictures, what would you consider a good amount? One per quest even if it isn't something naughty?
I really appreciate it! I think you pointed me in some good directions with your feedback! You are welcome. Thanks for taking the time to respond; that does not always happen here.
Ad 1) That is a great point! Having female students with scenes to aim for in the lectures should really help making you feel like you actually attend are at a college! The lectures are rather uneventful. I have not done proper testing, but I would suggest these improvements:
1. Add events (lewd?) to lectures. If things can happen there, it becomes part of the story. Now, it is a click event.
2. Add a start value, and possibly deduct for stupid actions, but always raise
3. Rethink the levels required... it seems you have 100 as max now, at multiple skills (over 10 now?)
The main reason for the current system was giving people a "lewd" ressource that they can use to make their PC stronger. For me the actual raise of skills, through the meditation.... why not change that to a good night sleep? Through cheats I saw I can use 100 points to raise all. That would have taken such a massive time looking at clothes or shoes to get there....
I admit it.. I was really lazy when I did those.. You are absolutely correct those should have at least one picture as an reward!Like the hit on girls stories (which are nice to read) but there is 0 picture. Yes, at least one picture would be nice , to get an idea of a girl.
Another tip: do not show options that are not working. There are club events, which are not implemented, leading to nothing. Hide those menu items for users. You could use a global debug=True and then check for that or something.
For me personally that would be okay... but if I would hit the same girl every time with the same sentences and the same events... after a while that will feel a bit weird. But... that is the way it is in most gamesCan I get further oppinion on this? Would you as a player dsilike if the same 2or3 characters would be used for multiple different of this kind of mini reward stuff?
For example, if the girl in one of the hit on scenes reappears when you work in let's say you work in a massage parlor and screw her instead of giving the massage, without their actually being any kind of further character development (or even giving them a name)?
I rate the game based on whether it uses picks or animated images, like mini-videos or .gif-s.I understand using the cheat stuff to find what you missed during the game but I have low-empathy, (low-empathy, not no empathy) for those who download a game just to "click through the pics" and rate the game based on that. XD

Try webp and make decision if it is good enough for your taste. When I converted a lot of png pics into webp, they took about 4% of the space that png files were. I made the conversion using ImageMagick and used its default settings for webp format. Webp has been developed for the web to have smaller filesize without going down too much in image quality.Do you guys have some advice for me regarding compressing my game?
My Scene pictures are at about 2-3 MB a piece I guess there is potential theree.. haha
Thanks a lot! I will give it a try!Try webp and make decision if it is good enough for your taste. When I converted a lot of png pics into webp, they took about 4% of the space that png files were. Thank you, I really appreciate every feedback, and yours is very helpful!A lot of content for a .1 thats good. Its also rare to see. Despite my criticisms here, keep up the good work. My playthrough was without cheats:
Already in the making, every current hevent + all the boring stuff like lectures and library will allow you to work towards some scenes!Remember you are making a sex game so those hook ups need images too.
I think that maybe my starting values for some of the skills are way to low, I will rethink the skill checks needed for clothing store and cafe as those are intended to be pretty much a nobrainer to get. There's a steep curve in the skill checks, by the time I legit got my first business, Getting all of them was no issue. you may
allow the player to get the first business easier as it should be a learning experience. Then the skill checks get harder as the dean expects more from a person who runs multiple businesses.
Great idea, I don't know why I missed something so obvious, can't promise if it is in the next version, but I put it onto my list!Speaking of difficulties. Would be helpful to see what bonuses or negatives we have based on gear, hunger, stam etc.
Yeah.. that was a bug, you will receive the nightclub in the main story line where you save Maria! There's no story to why we have the nightclub or why Craig is partnered with us...we just kinda have it. Which is odd considering it should be a more advanced business.
I just finished that event yesterday, the canteen will work similiar to a business, where you get food for working (and hscenes)Where's my free food the college promised me? no biggie since the food stalls are the best for all stats. The pay rate is 1 satisfaction and 6 hunger or stamina per dollar spent so that is the go to. But early game removing hunger and gaining stamina at the canteen at a very small rate for free wouldn't be a bad move.
Yes, I also just noticed that while redoing all the lecture hall library events, I think I will default unlock some of them and think about a way to get to the rest! Also some skill checks require you to fail at a key event before they unlock. You really have few reasons to pick up athletics, combat until after events happen and that in a way is fine, but you know you need lockpicking and stealth but have no way to pick up these skills ahead of time even though the dialogue says there are lockpicking classes. Perhaps some kind of smaller event to unlock these (like the park sex scene unlocks stealth and lockpicking classes when you reach that quest starter)
Yeah you describe the problem many people seem to have early in the game!I like the idea of the game and it seems like you've put a lot of thought into it, but.....I'm honestly confused as to what I'm supposed to be doing most of the time, and what I need to do to progress. I talk to the girls and take classes and....fail at absolutely everything, and I'm not sure what I need to do to change that.
And then I get hungry, and run out of energy, but making money seems to be extremely slow to buy food. I earn $15 working a shift in the store but a burger costs $50.
Is there a basic direction that new players should take once the main setup of the game is finished? I've met Kate and Jenny and am just wandering around randomly at this point.
OK, thank you for that detailed response! Basically, if I have a part time job at the clothes store, I can just keep working there and taking classes, and I'll progress gradually then? I didn't really understand how the system works with taking classes.Yeah you describe the problem many people seem to have early in the game!
In the version 0.1 there are currently 5 routes that you can finish: Kate, Jenny + Haley (After level 3 cafe), Abigail (lvl 3 clothing store and Theresa (lvl 3 bookstore)
If you want to play without cheats, I think right now the best way would be to upgrade one business to level 3 quickly, since you will earn a lot of money per shift! Eventually as you aquire more businesses you will generate enough passive income so that you don't need to go out of your way to get food!
Also in the future you will be able to restore some hunger at the canteen for free!
But I agree, the world is unfortunately very empty right now! I'm working hard that there will be a lot more fun ways to increase skills, and will also adjust the start values of said skills!
Getting skills to around 60 should be very quick with lectures at the lecture hall! Skill increases have dimishing returns, so after around 70 skill value you will be better served with getting skill enhancing items at the stores!
If you need quick satisfaction you can peep in the changing room at the dorm (unlocked in jenny, haley or theresa route)
But if you don't want to deal with the unfinished state of the progression system right now, just activate the cheat mode, it will let you enjoy everything that is working without the pain!
Generally if you need direction you can focus on a girl in the phone menu, which will tell you where to go!
There is a small bug in the hints in the kate route where it tells you have to go to oldtown back alley, but the quest is on mainstreet!
While you can't focus on businesses, there is a hint text for them in the workplace menu!
Go to the park or mall entrance. enter location at the bottom and choose the food stalls. for 5 bucks you can remove 40 stam or hunger and gain 5 satisfaction. dont bother with the other places. start by doing the lectures and jogging. work part time shifts at the cafe and clothing shop for cash. focus the lectures on management, sales and charm. then talk to kate in your office when you can choose a business. also when you have 100, take boxing to up your combat skill. you will need it.I like the idea of the game and it seems like you've put a lot of thought into it, but.....I'm honestly confused as to what I'm supposed to be doing most of the time, and what I need to do to progress. real quick found a new bug: maria's quest gives and error and maria hersel shows up so big on the screen she pretty much blocks out everything else.I would like to ask you a few questions myself to the gameplay if you don't mind.
How do you feel about the timeskip? I have a feeling that this is currently too good/ has no drawback, If you need money/Stamina you could just spam click them until full and than eat to restore hunger!
I don't want to remove the feature completely, especially now where there isn't to much to do! Esepcially early on I think it could be really frustrating without the function!
How would you feel if you can for example skip time only a certain amount per week (+ unlock additional weekly time skip by upgrading businesses)?
And finally I wanted to ask If there a feature you would really love to see in the game? I'm always hungry for new ideas!
I hope I will be able to ship out 0.2 until end of february depending on my schedule, that update will hopefully make the game way more engaging by providing lot's of new scenes!
(Currently 9 scenes nightclub, 12 scenes tennis cheerleaders, 6 scenes lecture hall, 3 scenes canteen, 3 scenes library, 3 scenes jogging + rework of the 'Hit on girls' scenes)
Go home to your room and meditate, either for 25 Satisfaction for a single skill or 100 for all the skills, 10 upgrade points could get you above skill level 50!OK, thank you for that detailed response! For example, my charm skill is 25 and I've gained 10 points in class. How do I know when that is leveled up? Will the game just tell me so?
