'Cause the game's Patreon Bait. In what world would you release STICKERS and POSTCARDS for a porn game.
Yeah, their Discord is literally filled with nonsense. I think the game itself is an afterthought once you get past all of the fluff.

Because it developed an audience outisde of the porn genre. Its an adult dating sim with a female protaganist and a diverse cast. It has huge draw in the otome/interactive fiction community, who, would you guess it? Like merch of their favourite characters. Its really not that strange, its just not for you.

But when it looks like the priority is distributing these side things, obviously people will complain.
You're proving their point. It seems the "fluff" side of the model takes precedence over the game itself, hence why they called it bait.
Are you the dev OR are you speaking on their behalf? If the latter, can you get a message back to the dev please? Can we get more consistent updates on the game itself? I used to support the game on Patreon, but stopped because stickers and calendars became the selling point.

I am not the dev, no. Pretty has been dealing with some stuff these past few months (among with it being the holiday period so travelling to visit family) so understandably the updates have slowed. She still updates twice a month though.
However we know the writing is complete and she is working on the art.
I dont know if this is still the case but she did have a second artist, SketchyInk, helping her with the postcards so she could focus on the game.

i mean, honestly speaking, the "updates" you're talking about have been literally nothing but stickers and postcards and being showcased in things
there hasn't even been those interviews with the characters, which would honestly be alright if they weren't getting $4.6k a month on patreon when there hasn't been an update in months
it's getting kind of ridiculous, how little content they've actually been putting out-- ESPECIALLY if they've got someone working on the postcards, they should be able to write and update the game, even while visiting family, no? or at the very least, pause the patreon subscriptions so that people aren't paying for bare bone updates about the "progress" of the game
Yeah, gotta agree with this. I was a supporter on patreon for a while, but the style of updates just killed it for me. All flash, very little substance.
