So there will be -- for a while -- lights that don't do anything but give experience like I described before. BUT I do sympathize with people that want to cheat to see content. So with that in mind, when you wake up on day two, if you did cheat at the beginning, I'll make it so your spell levels go up to 9. I don't want it to take effect on the first day just because I don't want people to download the game for the first time ever, cheat, then be confused as to what the hell is happening (since max level means you wouldn't get any notifications the first time you use a spell that a specific color leveled up).
The other thing to keep in mind is that, even though you cheat to get to level 9, there will still be dancing and unstable lights in the future that count as if you weren't high enough level for them. I'll add a trigger to these passages if you cheated, just to let you know that they're effectively dead ends for experience points right now, but that's the best I can do. The reason is because, until a player could theoretically access a light through normal play, I'm not going to spend time writing content that literally only people who cheated could see lol.
The reason you can see the "Cast Major Lust on her" change though is because of how the framework for lights are set up. When you get to level 1 with a color, you can start seeing the effect of shy pink lights before you even cast them. Then at later levels for humming, dancing, and unstable. I have that framework built in from the start, even for lights that technically don't go anywhere, because I don't want to forget to account for them in the future lol.
That's certainly a good idea, but that's going to be on the backburner until I get some extra time between releases. I will fix the thing with the dad though, because I hate that you've now made me aware of that plot hole lol.
