Sorry budy she's mine, I saw her first and I will do all sorts kinky stuff with her, if the dev ever lets her be with MC, else I'll just use any other guy to do it.
is it me or am i the only person that doesnt want mc to hook up with her, but ratter her best friend, or sarah instead?

Let me start by saying - Thank god someone wrote a realistic college plot! Hook ups, relationship drama, misunderstandings, not every girl fawning over one guy like he's the incarnation of Adonis. It's actually *not* predictable for a change. That being said, I don't even look at Adam as the MC who's supposed to represent the player, but as one of the main characters in a TV show. Especially since we have a dedicated Morgan chapter.

I don't know where you're planning to go with the story, nor do I dare twist your established idea, but I do hope you'll keep this vibe rather than swerving into the typical "let's all degrade the MC" route that everyone else does. Giving him a unique win with Luna was a great counter-balance. Though an earlier scene of hinting/build-up would've helped sell it better, I know that time and resources are a factor.

Speaking of resources... Patreon... It's not really Patreon that's cracking down, but the payment processors who went on a censorship spree this year. Combine that with internet whiners who have nothing better to do than raise alarms to ruin someone else's dreams and you get reports that they can't ignore. Personally, I've been looking into as many alternatives as possible, because you never know when someone might target another platform. Just make sure to have a neutral ground where you can reach the bulk of your fans in case something happens.

P. S. I'm glad you didn't take the overly-contrived landlord-lady route. Honestly, I think you could just lean into the absurdity of your solution if you wanted since everyone knows what's really going on from the first 10 sentences.

Am I the only person who is having a problem with the Save/Load screens. I can save just fine, but if I try to move to another page, the program thinks I'm trying to do another save, and won't move off the current page no matter what I try.

I originally downloaded using the MEGA download for Win/Linux. I just tried the one for Pixeldrain. Same result.

I have modified nothing, just downloaded, unzipped (using the latest version of 7-zip) and executed. I'll try using Pea Zip and see if that helps.

By the way, I delete everything but the downloaded file (from both areas where saves are maintained) after each try. Each download is kept in a separate directory.

Yeap, something is wrong there. Loading a brand new save after this update gives a rollback error.

If you move the mouse too far up on the page number, you're actually highlighting the save slot above it. Something definitely off with the styling there.

For me, this game is unplayable in its current form, which is a shame since I really was looking forward to trying it.

Maybe next release.

I've seen this happen in a couple games recently, it's like people are passing around some bad template with the yalign/ypos defaults changed for main menu style.

I actually tried swapping out the screens.rpy file and regenerating a new screens.rpyc file from another game I had played 10 days ago (with no problems). Damned if it still didn't mess up. *sigh*

For me, this game is unplayable in its current form, which is a shame since I really was looking forward to trying it.

Maybe next release.
The issue might persist if the dev doesn't understand screen language (or could contact me and I'll help fix it). For now, if you want to change the page, just move the cursor lower until the thing you want to click is highlighted. The click area is just off center for some reason.

I was finally able to replicate the save/load issue, and it isn't in the screens.rpy, it's in the gui.rpy. I never used a template, only ever modified the default that RenPy creates when you start a new project and I never altered the Save/Load screens. But I was able to fix it by reducing the button height slightly. Very weird that it did that.

Anyway, I was also able to finally replicate the errors when introducing the Art and Math Professors. I slapped together a little renamer as they are introduced that I should have done from the beginning. It should be fixed now. I'll upload a fixed 0.3.1 version and a patch for the 0.3 version.

Thanks for letting me know about the issues! Hope this fixes them all, but let me know if I just made it worse. lol!

That does seem to fix it for me. Unfortunately, wasn't able to recover my new save from this update, but was able to find an Auto-Save from that playthrough and load from there and make a new one. Not sure what was going on there.

Nice! RenPy has some weird connections between it's screen elements. It's very easy for a change to one thing to affect something else entirely. I remember a lot of ridiculous back and forth while trying to format a menu inside the the dialogue box. Glad you were able to fix it!

I'm playing this for the first time and I gotta say, i like and hate how realistic the teen drama stuff is. Im a grown ass adult now so i can't stand thinking back to when this was my life.
The other thing is I low key hope that the obliviousness of the MC Adam can eventually be revealed as not so much him being oblivious but more because he sees how goddamn messy all his friends relationships are and that he actually just wants zero part in all that.
I know for me i would have distanced myself romantically with all of them long ago but that's just me.

I still think this is a pretty good game and my comments above aren't gripes with the game.

Very interesting game, telling the story slowly is a great idea to avoid the characters corrupt too quick. Also love Morgan, and hoping MC admit his ntr fetish but don't establish formal relationship with Morgan too soon.

Dev Blog 21/01/25

Hey all! Things are progressing with the next chapter pretty regularly. I've had a little writer's block last week just trying to sort out a transition between two events. The renders are lagging behind because of it. I just had to step away from it for a few days to clear my head and that got me back on track. But things are looking good. The story outline is fully fleshed out, I'm working on the script now. The image outline is fully done. Right now it's planned for 170 images, but we'll see how it looks when the renders catch up. I usually end up adding a few then taking a few away as I proofread while I'm waiting on a render. I think last chapter I had 154 images planned then it went up to 164, then ended up with 138, so we'll see how this chapter goes. Hopefully this update isn't going to take TOO much longer.

Chapter 4 is going to be from Morgan's POV again, as I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before. And it's going to start with her night while Adam was having dinner, basically while she was texting before he left. You're finally going to meet Diego, Morgan's neighbor, but nothing too drawn out, more of an introduction for future events. And there's going to be a lot more of Jason's antics and manipulations. And just like in Chapter 3 how you got to choose how Adam reacted to a couple of events, you'll get a bit of that with Morgan this chapter as well. I'm debating adding in a final option later (Chapter 5 or 6) as a "are you absolutely sure you want this?" kind of option that I've seen other games do, but I also like when games don't do that and I get to play through again from the beginning with different choices, and wonder just what each choice will end up meaning. So I'm unsure. I'll eventually make a poll for that, see how you all feel about it. But I'm having fun writing. I really do enjoy writing from Morgan's POV. I think it's going to be a fun chapter.

I still don't want to give an estimate of how long before it's finished, because I always tend to fuck it up. lol! Maybe in the next dev blog when I'm more sure. I'll try to work on this one faster. I do have to say, though, that I have gotten better with this whole game dev thing. This is my learn-by-doing project. It was rough in the beginning just figuring out lighting and HDRI's and render settings and how long it took to move and pose every little finger joint. And kissing! My God! Have you ever though about how your neck and face move just to kiss someone without ramming your nose fully into their eye? Because I have. lol! It was rough. I think from my decision to sit down and start making my own game to that first chapter took a full year, just to learn everything and try things out, and fuck everything up, and start over. It's been a time.

And I really can't express how appreciative I am of all of your support. Every little bit helps me pay the bills and I can't thank you all enough. And those who can't support with patronage, don't even worry about it! Just play my game, leave your comments, and keep being naughty! Your messages and comments really do give me ideas on how to change things and add things moving forward. If there's something you hate or something you're really wanting to see, then tell me. I've also kinda spoiled some plot points to people who have messaged me because I'm terrible at keeping secrets. lol! And even questions like "hey, are you going to include this kink or that kink?" and I'm all "nope, no plans for it." then the next day I'm sitting here writing and I think "although... hmm..."
