I wonder, if the renders are ready, why won't he share some preview? There wasn't a decent preview in these 5 months imo. Also, if I remember correctly, this update should have been ready 3 months ago. Then it was "ok, here's the deal: I'll make it in 3 months instead of 2, doubling the size". Then it was "I'm sorry, not this month". Then yet again "sorry, not this month either". And now we have sorry-hat-trick. Something's not right here.
Lol read your first sentence. First you say he hasn't shared any preview and then you say he hasn't shown any decent one. Just FYI, previews were shared here. He is not gonna share anything sexual or that would spoil the update.

Weren't there only 3 previews in the past 5 months? And they were some small cut pieces. It wouldn't hurt to share some more.
I'm just sharing my thoughts. Don't you want to hear what people think? Isn't that why you are here? The problem is with unmet expectations. You can work slow, we could have our thoughts about that as well, but it's not the main problem here.
Really, if you shared a preview, it wouldn't be such disappointing. I think you underestimate the value of previews.
I hope he will get some help, but to do that, he need more stable money=more patrons. To get more patrons, he need to be more consistent with his content. Damn, i think it would be better from money perspective to release smaller content more frequent. But i wish him the best, and i hope he wont overwork himself and quit
i know how it must feels for you and i'm sorry for what's happenig these guys are so pressing (sry english is not my first language what i mean is that they put so much pressure one you) and well it must be hard to contain yourself not to tell them to fuck off or even to abandon the project ...
in a way i understand them because your game look so good and i'm sure you have surprises for us about the plot and that one of the thing i'm the most eager to see (yeah i play porn game for their plot don't judge me please)

Obviously, I'm here to answer that I'm not Aorrta, I wasn't working for Aorrta (ppl too lazy to check my profile and see my old DoD, BB fan-art shitty renders) , I'm not a "milker" - because patreon is on pause for 3 months, that I was showing a preview 10 times, that the "January Thoughts" post was posted in January, not February... and so on. =)

But somehow it's no longer thoughts, but assumptions and theories.

Dude, I'm not demanding anything, and apparently it's you who is making assumptions. I also don't think I missed any previews posted here. Maybe there were some more on Patreon, I had no idea as they are usually posted here. So, from my perspective, it's not enough. So maybe it would be worth it to share them for plebs as well.
Also, no theories here, just a sequence of events which made me nervous. Of course, I don't think you're a milker, I really appreciate that (as much as a non-patron can). But I also know this industry too well to not be worrying. People mostly will just say, "Go ahead, do whatever you want, do WHATEVER you want", when in fact, you fail in meeting their expectations. Sometimes these people aren't your patrons as well. I'm not here to accuse you in anything, but I'm not here to encourage the misconception which is apparently common on this site and on Patreon.
I really think this Patreon system is so wrong. There's a reason why there are so many milkers. And you never know if a developer will become one eventually, as many did.

People can unsubscribe from any developer at any time. Or they can only pay for an update.
The patreon site is not for selling games. It's for supporting people.
And I'm grateful to everyone who supported me. Thanks to them, I can do what I like.

Yeah and for that they receive something back content of some sort at a regular basis, it's not like patreon is a social welfare system that's the job of your country government...

you're just embarrassing yourself. if you're unhappy with how the project is going, just cancel your patreon sub ( if you have one ) or stop following the thread. so much fucking drama in every thread by impatient little brats
As one of the ones that are backing him, I can say: which he does provide according to me and therefore I'm supporting him. That he paused the patron and still provides updates speaks even further to his credit according to me.

I just read back through all the recent comments. Seriously, ttll, you need to IGNORE all these negative commenters. Stop responding to them COMPLETELY! There are a lot of bullshit comments with nit-picky issues I see here. Stick with your OWN VISION of the game and only pay attention to your Patreons!
I can promise any negative comment here means they LOVE your game. They will continue to masturbate to it while posting negative comments... all while NOT paying a DIME. If they DIDN'T love it... they would ignore it. And since no one here is PAYING for the game... fuck-em..?!
The seriously successful games I have seen here are a result of the dev ignoring negative comments, particularly HERE, and sticking with their original vision. Even ignoring your Patreon's negative comments OUTSIDE of a poll.
Once a dev starts to change their game to appease negative commenters (especially since none of the peeps here support you financially) the game looses all those that actually PAY you to develop the game. People that LOVE your game are less likely to comment... because everything is going well!
Once my legal issues are resolved, you will DEFINITELY be among the devs I will come back to support.... and possibly before that if I can figure out a way to do it without no one knowing.. hehe
In other words, your game, lacking a futa checks all my boxes (INCLUDING my burgeoning NTR/SHARING fetish).

ttll, I think it's great that you are engaging with the community, but arguing with bitter people is pretty pointless. They will remain bitter and probably stop supporting your patreon which is certainly their right, as is your right to work slowly and only release a game when it is ready. Keep on working, do your thing at your own pace. Your vision earned you many fans and the quality of your releases only reinforced them.
Don't go changing any of that. Trying to appease the fringe could lead to losing the core fans if you have to make compromises. Let your work speak for itself, the game you're making is fucking awesome. I personally can't wait to see what other things you have planned and am good with waiting.
Just remember to watch your blood pressure when reading this forum. Life's too short to stress about nonsense and I'd rather see you live long enough to finish this and however many other games you'd want to make!
